My coworkers and I use a quick reference book while at work. The trouble is, it is small print and confusing. I would like to turn it into a search able app for faster use. Is there an easy way to accomplish this?

Is there an app similar to MS Word like on the WinMo phones? I used word mobile almost daily for work on my Fuze. Now I have to find something to take its place. It doesn't have to use the .doc extension, just have to be able to type up documents on the go.
EDIT: Nevermind, I found an app. It's just kind of a pain in the @ss.

Search for "office" on the market. There are a couple pay appear that look pretty nice.

There are a couple in the works but not free...atleast I have not seen a free one. Here is an example: OfficeSuite Pro which can be found in the market. Not trying to spam anything but simply pointing in a direction to answer your question which is yes there are some android apps that work word files and such.
I'm sure I used to have an app that did this but I can't find the name of it...basically I'm looking for an app that will play a different SMS notification sound on each new text, preferably in a sequence of my choosing but random is fine. I've tried Ringtone Randomizer but it can't really do what I'm trying to do.
Bump! Anyone out there know the answer to this? I am looking for the same thing.

Thanks for the response Jevan! I was more hoping to find an app that allows me to specify a specific sequence of ringtones, preferably when multiple notifications are received within a certain time frame, and not so much a randomizer.
Basically, looking to create a series of sounds that are pleasant when lots of notifications are received quickly (such as in a group chat) instead of just the same tone repeating over and over.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ring.roxyeris you can either use this one or the other i posted and maybe email the developers on whatvyou need and they coyld be more of assistance. Im not finding anything like what your looking for.

I get the feeling many don't feel the same as I do (I get this feeling from my utter lack of success on Google with this), but is there a way to prevent the Youtube app from clearing the search bar after every search?
I like to watch a lot of episodic content and, of course, I would search for it using terms like 'Comedy Show Episode 01', but doing this is a bit more difficult due to how the Youtube app seems to clear the search bar after every search. Of course, if I also misspell a word during my search, I'd end up after to rewrite the entire thing.
Is there a way/tweak to allow my search queries to remain?
Copy it to your clipboard the first time you type it and change the number.

Well, thanks for suggestion about copy/paste, but the reason I didn't use that to begin with is that I'm usually inter-switching between using Youtube, surfing various information websites, reading Kindle books, commenting on websites, and etc. More often than not, my clipboard is already filled with some other important notes I intend to use later.
Yes, I also understand I could simply copy/paste the note somewhere else to re-use the clipboard, but I was hoping for a quicker/simpler solution. If there isn't one, I will do it that way, but just keeping a bit of hope.
Ya I see why that wouldn't really work.

Well, no matter. There doesn't appear to be any solution to my issue, so I guess using the clipboard in tandem with a note app is the only method available to me.
Thanks for responding to my thread.
Hi,
I want to become much more proficient at using the voice dictation that comes with the Samsung keyboard as far is doing punctuation, editing and deleting words, etc.
Where can I find a good tutorial or guide on this.
Thanks.

Did you look in the Market manual or the regular user guide?
My previous phone was the lg options g and the one thing I loved was LG's quick memo. Is there any chance of getting it ported to the nexus 5 or is there something similar?
Sorry if this has already been done or asked, but my search came up empty.
Thanks

"Ink over apps" does the same thing sort of. It let's you write on the current screen. It's a paid app though... only one I've seen of its kind in the Google store.

Look no further than google keep. sync across devices, store photos notes etc , even use voice to dictate a meme, I find it invaluable and easier to use than evernote.

Google Keep is amazing. Quick, easy, simple, and it works. Easy to set reminders too.
I already use Google keep. However, lg quick memo works differently than that. It allows you to write over your background. For example, if I get a call from a number I don't know, I would go to call history, enter quick memo to write the number on the screen. Then tap a button which allows me to browse the phone while that number stays on the screen so I can search that number without trying to remember it or write it on paper. Its all right in front of you. Obviously there is more uses for it than that.
I still have my rooted lg optimus g so I can pull the all from there. Not sure if that will work though.

I imagine you could set this up with Tasker. Take a screenshot which triggers it to be edited with a simple image editor, draw and save. Maybe assign it all to up+power instead of down.
