hello. im new at rooting stuff. ive been an jailbreak/cydia user for years and 1 month ago i switched to android because some reasons...one is because deep down, iphones suck. anyway.. i rooted my galaxy blaze with cwm, something like that..i dont know the roms name...now ive been trying for hours to install the xposed framework...i donwloaded the installer...click install...the installation begins (a rotating circle) i see the shell permision granted etc...then the phone boots up again and xposed is still not active/installed...it shows some red lines..about framework not active or installed. then the app process and xposed bridge are not active...i tried classical install and automatic recovery install...nothing works...
please tell me what can i do? or galaxy blaze 4g doesnt support xposed.
i had an app called disable service (to prevent baseband update by t mobile) ..uninstalled it thinking it might affect xposed...but still no success...
please help me.
Can you please post your Android version ? Its located in settings >about. It is important to know the Rom name that you have installed. Appreciate if you can grab that from the same About screen. Please also install this app first before attempting to install Xposed Installer.
Can you please ensure that the installer does get Root privileges ? It won't install successfully otherwise. You might also wish to read this Xposed Q&A for incompatible Roms.
Good Day guys
Before (if) I root, does anyone know if Xposed will run on the X2 ? If so, are modules safe to run from a security/privacy point of view ? Is it true that as long as modules are open source they are safe ?

No, Xposed doesn't work. It will send you into a bootloop.
Hello,
... a never ending story with my GEM-702L ...
I've unlocked the bootloader, installed TWRP and updated to B106 inkl. SuperSU.
All works fine ... with one exception: XPosed. I *really* need it, especially for XPrivacy.
For Lollipop a new XPosed version is released. So i tried my luck ... and failed.
I installed the XPosed Installer 3.0 Alpha 4 and the ARM64 SDK22 framework via TWRP.
After that my device has a boot loop.
Has anybody other experiences with XPosed and is there a workaround to install XPosed successfully? Maybe with an Android 5.0 Build? I prefer to use an older build version if it allows to use the XPosed framework.
I hope you can help me.
Many thanks in advance and best wishes
Dan

The problem is Xposed just doesn't support the framework on the Huawei devices just yet. Hopefully, since Huawei makes the Nexus 6P that will change but if it does it probably won't be until Marshmallow is released for the X2. Huawei is working on it.
Thank you for your reply.
With other words: I have an unusable smartphone. Without regulation of permissions, I won't use an android device with all of my personal data. My privacy is too important for me.
Huawei created a really great device but some details are horrible.
1st: Unlocking bootloader
2nd: Terrible (and in fact: no) support for international models
3td: This situation.
It seems, Huawei makes the same mistakes like other big manufactures before...
I'm looking forward for some better updates for the xposed framework and/or new builds from huawei.
Best wishes
Dan
Also boot loop with xposed framework v78 on B106.
So since Sep. 2015 I have an unuseable smartphone...
To trust in Huawei was my biggest (and expensive) fail since a very long time.

The framework doesn't support Huawei phones. Maybe this will change with the Nexus 6P.
I know, but I really need xposed + xPrivacy.
So, I'll try every update til xposed is running fine ... Or I sell my MediaPad and buy something else that has not these problems.
you be doing well to sell this phone for what you paid for it.

Could you make the same for 703L? Unfortunately this version do not work for me... It's a really pitty because Xposed it is one thing which I miss in X2...
I have installed .app and flashed .zip from recovery but after reboot Xposed framework is not active and can not be activated. At least there is no bootloop...

I'm on my 703L and its working fine for me. I had to install the app first then boot into recovery and install the framework in that order.
Will try once more...
Unfortunately...
What can I do?

Flash the framework in recovery once more and see if it works. I did it on KangVIP B109. What system are you on?
I flashed it at least four times... I am on B109 Kangvip

That's strange. When you first flashed the Framework and restated did you get the "updating apps 1 of xx" dialog box?
Yes, I had it.
Now I'm back to start because I've restored nandroid backup from before of installing Xposed-framework. Will try once more from beginning. SO once more:
1. Xposed Installer.app
2. Xposed Framework from recocvery
Is there need of wiping cache after installing framework?
Edit// One more try to no avail.
Edit// Will try to install superslim KangVip from @ajsmsg78 and then will see...

After install, open up Xposed Installer and go into settings and check Disabled Resource Hooks. You have to do that in order for the framework to start working. Just restart after you check that box.

Thank you, that did the trick . Now I will start to test my favourite modules.
So, all is well here, the .244 update came and it is smooth as hell, only problem is that xposed is terrorising me.
I installed every .zip xposed files possible for 6.0 and 6.0.1 all giveing me bootloops after i restart the phone...
At first i thought it was a module causing the problem, i had wiped my phone clean several times... Still...
Please help...
It did work fine for me, no issue at all... (with latest xposed v85)
can you share the zip pls
http://dl-xda.xposed.info/framework/sdk23/arm64/xposed-v85-sdk23-arm64.zip
thx, but i have found the problem. Apperantly the problem was in the kernel, i flashed the one that came with the ftf a user shared, after i flashed androPlus's kernel everything was normal
Hello all, been rooting my Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900P running Marshmallow 6.0.1 for the past 7 or so hours with some trial and error, and the process has been relatively painless. The only trouble I'm having is with the Xposed framework soft-bricking my phone. I've done it 7 times and received 7 bricks. I believe I have narrowed the problem down to needing to flash a deodoxed ROM before attempting to update the framework. Only problem is...I'm completely lost on deodoxing my current ROM or finding a custom ROM already deodoxed that is compatible with my phone. I have searched high and low, even trying to flash PopWiz and I'm still stuck. Any info would be appreciated.
Some info:
-Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900P (Sprint)
-Running 6.0.1 Marshmallow
-Rooted using CFRoot with SuperSU, confirmed by Root Checker
-Using TWRP
-No custom ROM has been flashed other than PopWiz
-When installing Xposed framework, I have been flashing "xposed-v86-sdk23-arm.zip" (armv71)
***EDIT: I went to this forum post and flashed the file linked using TWRP and it worked like a charm, even with the odoxed files. Thanks /u/dermac of reddit.
I actually wound up finding a fix thanks to /u/dermac on reddit. I went to this forum post and flashed the file linked using TWRP and it worked like a charm, even with the odoxed files. Thanks for your response.
Great that you solved your problem.
Hello! I am having an issue where in VirtualXposed, it won't open apps. The apps add successfully and install, but when I want to open them it is stuck at "Opening (APP NAME)..." .
Please any help
Thanks
EDIT: Also, my device isn't rooted, and I don't really want to root it.
Mine is rooted Xposed runs fine but I figured I could install this easy but same problem, tried on my friends non rooted device expecting it to that time work, but same result.
