Hello! I am having an issue where in VirtualXposed, it won't open apps. The apps add successfully and install, but when I want to open them it is stuck at "Opening (APP NAME)..." .
Please any help
Thanks
EDIT: Also, my device isn't rooted, and I don't really want to root it.
Mine is rooted Xposed runs fine but I figured I could install this easy but same problem, tried on my friends non rooted device expecting it to that time work, but same result.

Hello. I still have the CM7. 7.0 or something like that ... Early Gingerbread.
But I recently received various updates on various programs on the phone, so I updated everything including super user.
But superuser had reached message that there needed to be updated more, because I had older version of cm maybe ..
But I went into the rom manager and installed from there. Choosed, download the ROM, then:
Super User 3.0.7 EFGH ...
The phone boot was on, but now it crashes just super user all the time, and I get error message:
The process com.noshufou.android.su for Super User program stopped unexpectedly. And I can just shut the crap. Can not uninstall the superuser and install again from the market.
What do I do? Thank you.
When i am writing this i got this thread in similair:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1291104
And he explains it better. I got the same issue.
Hmm.
I dont want to brick my device. I dont even know how to flash that .zip...
Can anyone help me out? Thanks allot!
edit: And the SU update fixer gives me the error: Gaining root access: FAILED! Soo i need to get root again without reflashing my phone...hmm. Im too tired for this now. I should not have updated that ****.
edit2: ****ing YES! I did flash the: su-3.0.2-efgh-signed.zip and now i have rooot. thanks. im out
thread solved.
Hey guys.
Ok so I updated my Samsung Galaxy S4 i9500 to android 4.3. All went well and I rooted it and Installed CWM. Booted up and there was no supersu !? Non the less I manually downloaded it and all and got everything running nice. Being an ass I decided lets try installing it as a system app I had a idea what it was but not really I was more just having an itch in the ass. Well after that it shows up as a green android man with the Eu.chainfire.supersu.main... and when I tap it, it looks like its going in and them just crashes. I can get the report if anyone can help. Because I cant uninstall it anywhere cause its a ''system app'' I still have root but ya.so the big Q is how do I fix it...
hi all
i installed the 4.4.2 kitkat on my device the indian version
i tried to root it but no luck
i tried this way in this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2102677
first of all everything seems fine , the supersu installed and can give root permissions
but after a while it can't give permissions
just like there is no supersu
it says the app gets the permission but it can't get it
i dont know what is the problem or 4.4.2 still not get root ?
and if there is another way to root let me know
thank you
more than 90 views and no respones :crying:
ok it dosen't matter. i figure out what is the problem and i solve it
the problem was because the KNOX is installed in the new 4.4.2 kitkat update But it was hidden and you cannot find it in the app drawer
and if you check the app manager in the setting you will find it as KSML
KNOX prevent the root from working and the option that appear when i open the SuperSu app to disable the KNOX seems to be not effective
i tried a lot of things to remove it but i end up with fails every time :crying:
the sloution seems simple just remove knox and you will be ok and the root will works great
but
the problem was how to delete it with no root
i noticed in my device after i flash the root file and install an app that require root the root works on this app just for less than 10 mintues and then dosen't work at all
- so i flash the kitkat room again and turn on the device
- i download the root explorer app from the google play
- root my device
after rooting, the supersu app give force close but i went to google play and update it from there and it works fine
- lunched the root explorer and give it root permission (for me it can take the permission)
- searched about KNOX
- then deleted everything related to KNOX
- again search about KSML and delete it as well
and after that everythings goes right
a installed more than 3 apps that required root and all works flowlessly
and the root cheacker app finally says i succesfuly root my device (before was say a havent rooted my device)
damm it looks easy but it freaks me out to made the root working
KNOX really is a great saftey app but very annoying in matter of rooting
i hope anyone face my problem to try my way and it could works
thanks to me to reply me
Another thing I noticed
the root dosen't work if you change the language from English.
I don't know why???
After update to official 4.4.2, I just flashed CWM 6.0.3.6 with Odin, restarted in recovery mode and installed UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.01.zip in CWM.
Reboot tablet and start SU app; the app detects KNOX and asks to disable it. Just answer yes and you are ready in less than 5 minutes.
I must admit I first used Phil_Z recovery and then SU-app hung when disabling KNOX. After switching to CWM is worked right away.
I have N8010.
TBH. im a noob at all of this.
i rooted my phone because i wanted to use g3 tweakbox app. I did successfully root my phone.
Recently i got an update on my phone. In which i did update my phone. software currently is 4.4.2. im guessing it was 4.4.1 before, not too sure. Still android kit kat despite lollipop already being out.
The problem i run into right now is when i open g3 tweaksbox, i get an error message saying 'the module is not enabled or xposed framework is missing...". i then opened xposed and Xposed gives me an error message saying "the lastest version of xposed is currently not active. did you install the framework and reboot?" ive searched all day to figure out why this is the problem but i havent been able to find a solution. I also got an error message in supersu saying that "there is no SU binary installed and superSU cannot install it".
I looked into resetting my phone, but i can not get anything to backup at all. Ive tried many placed to back up my stuff too but all fail. Im guessing its because im stuck between these two worlds right now: between a stock phone and a rooted one. Idk how to fix it and i cant back anything up anywhere. i also dont want to lose all of my stuff on my phone just by hitting the reset to factory button on my phone. Can yahll please help, thank you. my phone does run fine but im just not the type that leaves the problem alone.. i want to fix it but i cant cause im just stuck right now.

Try installing the Framework again from Xposed Installer. Disable and enable again the module and reboot.
Try to do this
Xposed installer
Go to Xposed module
Check the tweaks
Then go to
Xposed framework
Click install /update
The it will asked to reboot
Then click OK
That's it

Update probably unrooted your phone.
So I can successfully install superuser v2.40, but it's not working with one of my apps (puzzle and dragons). I have been told me to downgrade to 2.25, but I have been having issues.
The problem is no matter what, when I flash 2.25 it gets stuck in a bootloop. Flashing it on stock, and even flashing it over 2.40, and flashing it over 2.40 when clicking the replace button in the superuser app. What am I doing wrong? Is 2.25 not compatible with my phone?
Hi First of all, if you have any compatibility issues with apps try upgrading them rather than downgrading. In this case SuperSU v2.46 would be the current version. Anyways, I just googled a bit and that's not the problem at all.
The developers of the game implemented a function which doesn't let the app start on a rooted device. It will check if you have Superuser-rights and automatically close the game at the splash screen if so.
So actually what you need is something that "hides" your root. There are several methods. I heard about Xposed modules like RootCloak for example. I even read on the xda News page that it's Lollipop compatible

Thanks for the reply. On the game's forums, I have been told that masking does not work (if you look at xposed rootcloak it says it's not compatible). And some users have been able to get the game to work with certain versions. I am on the latest binaries and it still doesn't work. The only way to get it to work is to unsinstall SuperSU and reflash it every time I want to play.
On some forums I've read that SuperSU has got a function to "hide" or "temporarily disable" it... Take a look at the app. Hopefully this feature hasn't been removed and maybe that's enough for you to get the game working. It's not a perfect solution but at least you don't have to uninstall / reflash every time. Let me know if it worked
