hello. im new at rooting stuff. ive been an jailbreak/cydia user for years and 1 month ago i switched to android because some reasons...one is because deep down, iphones suck. anyway.. i rooted my galaxy blaze with cwm, something like that..i dont know the roms name...now ive been trying for hours to install the xposed framework...i donwloaded the installer...click install...the installation begins (a rotating circle) i see the shell permision granted etc...then the phone boots up again and xposed is still not active/installed...it shows some red lines..about framework not active or installed. then the app process and xposed bridge are not active...i tried classical install and automatic recovery install...nothing works...
please tell me what can i do? or galaxy blaze 4g doesnt support xposed.
i had an app called disable service (to prevent baseband update by t mobile) ..uninstalled it thinking it might affect xposed...but still no success...
please help me.
Can you please post your Android version ? Its located in settings >about. It is important to know the Rom name that you have installed. Appreciate if you can grab that from the same About screen. Please also install this app first before attempting to install Xposed Installer.
Can you please ensure that the installer does get Root privileges ? It won't install successfully otherwise. You might also wish to read this Xposed Q&A for incompatible Roms.

TBH. im a noob at all of this.
i rooted my phone because i wanted to use g3 tweakbox app. I did successfully root my phone.
Recently i got an update on my phone. In which i did update my phone. software currently is 4.4.2. im guessing it was 4.4.1 before, not too sure. Still android kit kat despite lollipop already being out.
The problem i run into right now is when i open g3 tweaksbox, i get an error message saying 'the module is not enabled or xposed framework is missing...". i then opened xposed and Xposed gives me an error message saying "the lastest version of xposed is currently not active. did you install the framework and reboot?" ive searched all day to figure out why this is the problem but i havent been able to find a solution. I also got an error message in supersu saying that "there is no SU binary installed and superSU cannot install it".
I looked into resetting my phone, but i can not get anything to backup at all. Ive tried many placed to back up my stuff too but all fail. Im guessing its because im stuck between these two worlds right now: between a stock phone and a rooted one. Idk how to fix it and i cant back anything up anywhere. i also dont want to lose all of my stuff on my phone just by hitting the reset to factory button on my phone. Can yahll please help, thank you. my phone does run fine but im just not the type that leaves the problem alone.. i want to fix it but i cant cause im just stuck right now.

Try installing the Framework again from Xposed Installer. Disable and enable again the module and reboot.
Try to do this
Xposed installer
Go to Xposed module
Check the tweaks
Then go to
Xposed framework
Click install /update
The it will asked to reboot
Then click OK
That's it

Update probably unrooted your phone.
So I can successfully install superuser v2.40, but it's not working with one of my apps (puzzle and dragons). I have been told me to downgrade to 2.25, but I have been having issues.
The problem is no matter what, when I flash 2.25 it gets stuck in a bootloop. Flashing it on stock, and even flashing it over 2.40, and flashing it over 2.40 when clicking the replace button in the superuser app. What am I doing wrong? Is 2.25 not compatible with my phone?
Hi First of all, if you have any compatibility issues with apps try upgrading them rather than downgrading. In this case SuperSU v2.46 would be the current version. Anyways, I just googled a bit and that's not the problem at all.
The developers of the game implemented a function which doesn't let the app start on a rooted device. It will check if you have Superuser-rights and automatically close the game at the splash screen if so.
So actually what you need is something that "hides" your root. There are several methods. I heard about Xposed modules like RootCloak for example. I even read on the xda News page that it's Lollipop compatible

Thanks for the reply. On the game's forums, I have been told that masking does not work (if you look at xposed rootcloak it says it's not compatible). And some users have been able to get the game to work with certain versions. I am on the latest binaries and it still doesn't work. The only way to get it to work is to unsinstall SuperSU and reflash it every time I want to play.
On some forums I've read that SuperSU has got a function to "hide" or "temporarily disable" it... Take a look at the app. Hopefully this feature hasn't been removed and maybe that's enough for you to get the game working. It's not a perfect solution but at least you don't have to uninstall / reflash every time. Let me know if it worked
Hey guys, first time on this forum because I've run out of options otherwise. So last night i decided to finally root my phone after reading about it a lot. The root it self went just fine and it was working great. I then tried to download xposed using TWRP. However, that put my phone into a bootloop. It keeps restarted after it comes to the Samsung logo. I did some research and people said to simple put it back to the stock firmware so i downloaded some ( had trouble downloading because sammobile wouldn't work for me) However, now every time I try to flash it back to the stock firmware using odin it says failed and comes up with an error on the phone saying SW REV CHECK FAIL DEVICE 3, BINARY 1. The phone is a SM-G920W8. Any suggestions cause right now I have a $700 paper weight and no back up phone. I'm kinda freaking out haha.
Thanks for the help. I can send screen shots if you guys need them.
same problem.is there a way to install xposed framework without these annoying problems?
how to install the custom recovery and xposed properly?
Yeah, use the correct Xposed for S6.
There's an uninstall tool for the Xposed you've already installed (look in OP for Xposed you installed), that should have been your first step after bootloop. Try now, see if it will uninstall.
There's a Windows tool called SamFirm, or an Android app + website called Updato, use those to download stock ROMs if you still need to.
Then search for Wanam Xposed s6, and use that version.

Hey everyone!
I got my Note Edge recently, and while I've managed to get it rooted and all, I can't seem to figure out how to get Xposed installed. Here's the specs, here's what I've tried...
Model: SM-N915T
Android Version: 6.0.1
Baseband: N915TUVS2DQB1
Build Number: MMB29M.N915TUVU2DPE3
Though I installed the TekHD ROM, Knox is still listed in the 'About', and SE Android still looks like it's being enforced. Perhaps these are my issues; I'll take whatever help I can get.
The Xposed Installer says that "Xposed is not (yet) compatible with Android SDK version 23 or your processor architecture (armeabi-v7a)". It also says "Cannot link executable: library 'libdvm.so' not found".
I've attempted flashing the 32-bit ARM variant, as well as the 'alt' version, for v86, v87, and v87.1. I've run the uninstaller and wiped the cache/dalvik each time, and had no success.
Much appreciation in advance for whatever help is available.
Thank you!!
Okay, I managed to get it installed. I'm not sure which particular parts of this were involved in the fix, but Xposed works, and that's all that matters at this point...
1.) Did an ODIN installation of the bone stock N915TUVU2DPE3 firmware. Sidebar: I attempted to revert back to both 4.4.4 and 5.1.1 without success, if you're on 6.0.1++, and you got to this thread, just assume you're stuck on 6.0.1 or better.
2.) Installed ClockworkMod Recovery environment, rather than TWRP.
3.) Used the flash method for SuperSU.
4.) Used this Wanam Xposed in particular: xposed-v87.1-sdk23-arm-custom-build-by-wanam-20161125. It'll give a warning regarding Touchwiz compatibility, but it did work.
This was different than the use of the TekHD ROM, and I'm wondering if the Xposed 'uninstall' package didn't work the way it was supposed to. Though I doubt TWRP had anything to do with it, I was more successful in CWM.
So, hopefully this helps someone who finds this post via Aunt Google; amongst the reasons I posted it is because I didn't have much success finding references to the exact errors.
Best of luck everyone!
Joey
Hello! I am having an issue where in VirtualXposed, it won't open apps. The apps add successfully and install, but when I want to open them it is stuck at "Opening (APP NAME)..." .
Please any help
Thanks
EDIT: Also, my device isn't rooted, and I don't really want to root it.
Mine is rooted Xposed runs fine but I figured I could install this easy but same problem, tried on my friends non rooted device expecting it to that time work, but same result.
