So I have a few weird albums in my Gallery app. I have one that says Mike-PC and has nothing in it. I also have a directv2pc album that popped up after I downloaded the Directv app. I have deleted the Directv app and it's still there. I also went into the applications-gallery and cleared cache but those two folders are still there.
If I turn my Wifi off they disappear though, weird!!!
Any suggestions on how to get rid of them?? It's driving me friggin nuts!!!
Thanks
The computer you have called Mike-pc is set up to share files over a network like a media server. Under the network connection setting on that pc you need to turn this off. (I have a computer set up to do this) The phone and pc are connected via your home network that is why when you turn WiFi off the album is gone.
As for the one associated with the app I'm am not sure because I don't have it. I would assume there is possibly some setting you can change. Otherwise I'm not sure.

the directv2pc is also a media server that is being broadcast by your Directv DVR which is also connected to your home network. Both are network devices that your phone sees on your home wireless network
Thanks for the responses. Ill look on my PC to change those settings. I did look on my directv settings and didn't see anything.
Its not a huge deal but just annoying when I look at pics.
I've never had this happen with any other of my phones which is why it stumped me.

Turn off settings>more>nearby devices>file sharing or modify the settings.
Thanks

Guys, in the locations setting I have my N5 set to "Device Only". But for some reason my N5 won't pick up my location in any app that requires it. In Maps I get the following message "waiting for location...".
I've stood outside holding aloft my phone but still nothing.
But of I change seeing to "high accuracy" it works.
Have I messed up my GPS?

Hi mate,
First of all, you've posted in wrong section.
Secondly, you need to connect your device to wireless network or mobile data so that your device GPS initially tracks you and than you can set the GPS to Device only mode and the GPS will work.
If you feel that your GPS is having issues, you can test it using this app.

Hello XDA community,
I don't know why my Tasker profile won't run. I am using the when wifi connected turn off keyguard profile. I am also using secure settings to turn off pattern lock. I am rooted. I have been meticulously *following several videos on youtube. The same instruction works on my brother's phone. *
As well as this profile. when near scanned cell towers turn on wifi. Exit task, turn off wifi when not near. It doesn't work.
Also, the profiles don't light up green. In the notifications, it says no profiles active.* Any guidance on this matter will be great.

Try enabling the new cell api within tasker
Hello i have enabled the new cell api but it still requires the password. It still requires me to enter my pattern lock password.

I have a major problem with my phone since new, my phone hardly ever downloads complete email attachments, it always ends up downloading a few KBs, the amount of which varies time to time and when I try to open attachments I always end up with a warning that I must download the email before I can download the attachment! I need to tap the "Load More" button and the bottom which sometimes works and sometimes doesn't! I have all my accounts set to "No Limit including attachments" and I never had any problems with any android phones in the past or iphones for that matter. If I can't fix this I am going back to my old S6 edge
Please go to email settings and enable download attachments via mobile and WiFi.

Mock location had been fine past few days and stayed activated but before I reset my phone due to battery draining issues. Now when I activate mock location go out of developer options it just deactivates and I can't seem of keep it activated.
