Mock location auto deactivates - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Mock location had been fine past few days and stayed activated but before I reset my phone due to battery draining issues. Now when I activate mock location go out of developer options it just deactivates and I can't seem of keep it activated.
I would really appreciate any help in resolving this.

[HELP!] Enabling GPS/Location sends phone into a reboot!

Greetings, fellow humans!
I have an XT1033 and as the title states enabling GPS or Location Access simply forces the phone into a (soft) reboot.
Actually, its not the enabling of it, rather it happens whenever ANY kind off app tries to access my location in ANY kind of way(think Google Now, Maps, Weather etc.), while Location Access is still on.
Since I I'm running faux's kernel, I thought it was the culprit, and since I never bothered to turn on Location Access while I was on the stock kernel, I didn't know if it worked on stock.
So I flashed the stock kernel and modules and then tried again.
No dice
I don't think any app is a culprit, so it could be possible that my GPS "chip" or anything related to it is faulty.
Now this is quite unsettling.
Any advice, anyone?

Tasker help

Hello XDA community,
I don't know why my Tasker profile won't run. I am using the when wifi connected turn off keyguard profile. I am also using secure settings to turn off pattern lock. I am rooted. I have been meticulously *following several videos on youtube. The same instruction works on my brother's phone. *
As well as this profile. when near scanned cell towers turn on wifi. Exit task, turn off wifi when not near. It doesn't work.
Also, the profiles don't light up green. In the notifications, it says no profiles active.* Any guidance on this matter will be great.

Try enabling the new cell api within tasker
Hello i have enabled the new cell api but it still requires the password. It still requires me to enter my pattern lock password.

Mobile Radios auto disabling?

Whenever I lock my device, after about a hour the WiFi and Mobile Data radios will disable and do not automatically turn on like how they used to.
This is frustrating as I have to manually turn all my stuff back on just to use my phone and then wait for notifications to come through.
I am using MOAR ROM, Xposed, Skyhigh 3.6 on a Note 5 SM-920P.
I disabled Doze Mode in Synapse hoping that would work but nope. I have no idea whats wrong.

That's not typical. Try a different kernel, remove xposed.

Location services defaulting to my house unless I toggle location services on and off

Hello All,
On both my wife's and my Tmobile S7s running 6.01 on the November security patch, the location services are terrible. The phone keeps thinking I am at my house when I am 20 miles away at work. My wife has the same problem. If I toggle location services off then on, it instantly updates to the correct location. Eventually if defaults back to my house. This wouldn't be such a huge deal if I didn't have a SmartThings home automation system. SmartThings keeps unlocking my front door, turning on lights, and putting the heat back on because according to the phone I am at my house and the automation kicks in. Here is what I have done to try to fix the location issue:
- Location on with method = GPS, Wi-Fi, and mobile networks.
- Improved accuracy on with Wi-Fi scanning and Bluetooth Scanning enabled.
- Under Optimize Battery usage, I have unoptimized Location Services (meaning it should always be running).
Does anyone else have this problem with their S7s? If it were jsut mine, I would chalk it up to a faulty device, but it is happening to my wifes as well. Any other tricks to make this stop happening?
It's just you.

Well thanks for being super helpful. But its not just me, it is also my wife's S7 so maybe other people are experiencing the same issue and have work around. But I appreciate you adding so much value to the thread.

If you open up Google Maps, it shows us at our house on the map. If we cycle the location toggle on the quick link bar while on the map, it then updates to where we actually are. The home automation application is just effected by the location services being inaccurate.

Do you have developer settings enabled? If yes, check that mock location setting is disabled.

You are not alone. I have a same problem as well. Mock location is disabled and thus also happens right after factory reset as well. I'm starting to think this may be a hardware issue.
