there is a place i go to that has a jammer and i need to know if there is an app or something out there that can override the jammer, does anyone know of an app that does that.
no, thats not something an app can do
the only thing you copuld do would be to find the jammer and unplug it, lol
thats a bummer
Submit a complaint to the FCC. Most of them are illegal.
He is right. Under very few instances are jammers allowed. And the FCC has to approve of the jammer use or there are large fines.

Interesting. I went to a restaurant a couple of years ago that boasted they had a cell phone jammer on premises. Not sure if it was legal or not, but it was a bit annoying.

Good cell phone jammers use random generators, cell phones and wireless equipment r built to notice and compensate for standard patterned interference like microwaves or other wireless equipment, only way is wifi phone or voip, or both, or a massive lightning rod for an antenna, only other way would be to make a device to put back the jamming signal but inverted, which would require a team of engineers and $70 in parts plus various law violations as well as prolly being kicked out of school.

I don't think there's any app can override cell phone jammer espow.com/wholesale-security-jammer.html , the only way you can do is to get away from it.
the only way to beat a jammer is to be "louder" than the jammer... which would entail a hardware mod to the device to boost the power of its transmitting signal.
However, I would imagine that the extra power required might well be at the level where it can actually start warming stuff up.
hm... why do you want to know? from what I can make of it, they work by blocking radio signals...
Using something wifi and voip could get around the cell phone jammers since they are blocking lower frequency radio signals... wifi works on higher frequency
Hey, you seem to know what your talking about, with this phone jammer thing I need your help on a similar subject,
---------- Post added at 07:58 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:50 AM ----------
So there is a jamer that's blocking my phone. It has rendered my phone useless. I don't need any BS on the legality and dumb advice on how to unplug the jammer. What can I do to my phone or buy extra in order to beat this thing. Names tony. Thanks to you guys that are really trying to help.
I don't think there's a program to stop the phone jammer. After all, the power generated by a cell phone can't be compared to a jammer. If you really need a solution, you can only use interference to counter the interference. perfectjammer.com/all-gsm-3g-jammers-blockers.html . For details, please refer to this article.

Hello, there is no program that can override the jammer. Please refer to perfectjammer.com for details.
Although this kind of equipment technology already very common, but at present through the software still cannot achieve.
What hardware mod could I downloaded safely that would work to beat the cell phone Jammers
I'm on a moto gplay 6 and I'd like to know how I can bost my signal and beat cellphone jammers
Can someone help me find an App for Android that will enable me to send advertisements to bluetooth enabled phones. I found a few for Windows etc but none on the Android system, any ideas anyone ?
Even if such an app exist, it would require the user to accept the invitation first.
I know this would require the user to accept the invite if you were sending a file but as a contact card etc there is no requirement for the receiver to accept anything.
Basicly if you could have a file sent to constantly transmit to nearby bluetooth devices so people could choose to accept the connection that would be fine.
A bit like the old sw blueminer for windows.
there must be someone on here that knows of something that would fulfil the need since XDA devs are awesome.
Cheers Guys
SPAM.
SPAM EVERYWHERE.
To be honest that would be very annoying.
well it wouldnt be spam it would be just to promote a business. Also you would have to have your bluetooth on and discoverable so if you have it set to be found you cant complain. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.
Cheers Kenny
What is so great about our country (UK) is the fact we have the freedom of choice.
Many young men and women over the years have died fighting for this fundamental right. Now, if anyone thinks this bluetooth marketing software would be annoying or even deemed as spamming, use this great option of "choosing" not to accept it.

You, sir, just won one free copy of the internets.
No guys this would be useful in lots of applications like fairs, malls, places with lots of people and lots of store fronts. Say your wondering a music fest, suddenly you get notified that so-in-so is giving out free autographed cds to the next hundred people, or in the mall a notification pops up for half off at radio shack for all cell phone accessories if you bring in this coupon, ect. If you don't want it, don't use it. I think it's pretty cool.
OP, is that the track of this app you were talking about?

so you want a bluetooth bomber? that is rather useless. I tried with with my winmo phone last time and most phones just get a "do you want to accept contact card?"

Yeah, I think in terms of a small scalled run (ie comic book shop), this type of marketing is rather hit or miss. Most people have feature phones. What you need more of is whats called captive marketing. Like an add on a bus or train.
And guys whats with all the hatred? In the type of format of a cell phone, it would be illegal to push something to it without the owners consent. If you don't want it, don't take it. This is the same thing as somebody handing out flyers on the street. If you take it, you have consented to it, are you gonna start yelling at the guy handing em out saying he's ruining your trip down the road with spam? If anything, I tend to say something to people throwing the leaflets on the ground, that's ruining my walk.

A similar thing is already used but with sms location based marketing.
Here in the uk, co-op stores recently had a trial where customers on O2 within 0.5 miles of a store could recieve a free bottle of dr pepper.
http://www.kamcity.com/namnews/asp/newsarticle.asp?newsid=59471
Could be very interesting to recieve such messages whilst wondering around town.
Completely different to the suggestion of bluetooth marketing because sms marketing could be controlled by the networks to ensure spammy spamsters dont annoy their customers, and ads could be targeted easier due to the info the networks hold.
Never the less its a very intersting concept and I doubt many people would have a objection to recieving such messages, providing there was a optout once a message is recieved from a store which they dont use.
Personally I dont think bluetooth marketing would work as it has a very limited range, the majority of people dont walk around with bluetooth on, and those that do wont have it descoverable, and just have their headsets, earphoes etc paired to their devices.
forgot about the bluetooth bombers!!!
I used to go through a big box retail store with it on, and watch all the managers and sales staff pick up their phone and go, "what the f...."
then loop around and do it again!!! LOL, I was a ____ when I was young
Here is a thread a friend recently posted, if you're familiar with spoofing or latest hackes and viruses to cell phones, your input would be appreciated.
It's Called "SPOOFING". And It's Driving Me Mad..
by ANONYMOUS on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 8:14am.
About four weeks ago, a call came through my cell phone--from a number I didn't recognize.
So, I let it go to voicemail. Once I got into my offices, I checked my VM, from my business phone.
The message was a very convincing voice automation. It sounded like a young, perky woman.
"HI! It's me! My number changed. Call me at XXXXXXX."
At that point, my Bureau ears went up.
I called the number. A middle aged male picked up.
I introduced myself and told him the situation. He responded, "Oh, no! It's happening again!"
It seems this man, who lived in Washington state, had been the victim of such calls in the past.
Now--his number was being used on these messages. I told him to kindly provide me with more information--
that way I could launch a formal investigation.
He hung up on me.
I don't blame him. He had every right to be cautious...
However, a few hours later--my old man calles me...PISSED.
"What in the HELL are you doing?!?"
In about an hour his phone was clogged with over 300 text messages.
From me. But I never touched my phone.
Then picture messages--FROM MY PHONE. OF MY KIDS!
Started rolling into his inbox. Still--my cell phone sat untouched upon my desk.
I alerted my Trade Practice Consultant. I contacted a totally bewildered--
and aggravating AT&T rep...from India. Whose only remedy was to not let
other people use my phone to send these phantom messages.
Really? <click>
That's me hanging up on your ass.
Later, my old man's mom started getting calls from "me".
Then texts.
So, I wiped my phone. Set it back to factory.
And mind you--this is a simple phone. And I HATE contracts.
It's just a pre-paid I picked up on sale at Best Buy.
Days pass. Nothing happens. I relax.
Then...my sister calls in a huff.
"How come you NEVER called me back! I was SO worried!"
Seems she was getting texts--from "me" at 2AM.
The texts said--This is Bev. You've got the wrong number. Text me at XXXXXX
Thinking something might be wrong--she texted the number. And waited.
And waited. Then tried to call. Nothing.
The really scary part? Bev is a family nickname.
It's how I was listed in HER phone.
The text used Bev. NOT Beverly.
Somehow--this virus or whatever can access your:
pictures, address book, text and call history.
I visited AT&T's location in Tyler. The manager was VERY helpful.
They gave me a free phone, airtime and set up a fresh account--with NO personal
info.
BUT. My info is still out there. My number is probably being used in messages
and texts. To what purpose? The FCC and FTC don't know.
Why do I warn you? Because, think how much info your smart phones can access.
Your email accounts. Your Facebook. Your banking information. Your LOCATION.
Recently Apple was called on its' iPhone tracking software--which they lamely denied saying,
"Apple has never done so and has no plans to ever do so."
However, the company iPhones DO keep "a database of Wi-Fi hotspots and cell towers around your current locations... to help your iPhone rapidly and accurately calculate its location when requested."
Some of that location information is stored on each iPhone, and is backed up on iTunes, meaning that it would be possible for someone with access to a person's computer to retrieve information about their movements.
Your phone--with its' wireless access--means easy transmission of your personal
whereabouts and sensitive information.
And if these sophisticated scammers can crack multiple communications
platforms--they can make your phone a zombie.
Hungry for brains.
The tasty morsels and easy pickings of our interconnectedness.
How can you protect yourself?
So far, nobody has been able to tell me.
My phone didn't have internet access. Or email.
My problems started with a voicemail--that I didn't even call back from my cell phone.
They couldn't be running up my phone bill. It's pre-paid. Once the money is gone--the calls stop.
To have "cloned" my devise would have required tampering with my SIM card.
That didn't happen.
My old man's phone is pre-paid too, but on a different network.
My sister is in DC--again, different network.
Whatever this is--it moves with ease.
It has full access to your phone.
As I learn more--I will make updates.
If you know more--please share...

I guess its not about government spying as if a government spies it does via network so it does affect the hardware or phone software.

Maybe you should wrap your Galaxy S3 in aluminum foil. That should prevent alien attacks, at least.
Do you not watch the news? The government is spying on us all. Congress knows about it. The judicial branch says it is ok and the Executive just doesn't care.
Its only because you rooted your device and was put in a watch list.... Government doesn't like not having control... [emoji12]
One way to be sure you are bing watch is if you ever notice light aircraft or helicopters in your area then you can be sure the have seen you. If you look at them and they fly off then they have notice you have seen them are are trying to be inconspicuous. Never go outside without a tinfoil hat. You can hide one easily under a top hat or cowboy hat, even a bowlers hat.

My phone isn't rooted yet. Youre right about the government though.
In first world countries this is an issue, yet I cannot say that this is very true for all classes of countries, namely 3rd world countries.
I am sensitive that NSA surveillance in the US does overlap the barriers of privacy and security, as the main operators are humans and not machines, yet I do not confirm this is true, this is just speculation. They can choose to cross those barriers without us even noticing them.
However in regards to being spied upon by the government, it will go as far only as you'd let them get information. I have simulated your errors by means of Network Security testing, and yes I am a Network Admin and simulate stealing information. What i can say is this, if the government uses technology by means of any frequency via Wifi, Bluetooh, GPS, etc and you have these on, then you have to be extra careful. Most tracking agencies do not leave the spying to machines, they do it themselves and can choose to go beyond stealing your "Intellectual Rights" so to speak.
I also have Hardbricked and soft-bricked devices in my simulations. But what I can is that you should be responsible for gathering facts and truths about this matter. It is foolish to speculate upon the government without knowing of the tools that they use in acquiring private information.
I hope my article has helped you, and i do wish this thread is closed as it is.

The truth is that you ARE being spied upon by the government. The FBI, CIA, TSA, and NSA are SO incompetent in their spy work that their spying causes graphical glitches on your phone. These glitches are caused by the syncing with the NFC chip that was injected into you the least time you got a shot at the doctor's office. You only noticed these glitches because there weren't enough pacifying hallucinogens in the atmosphere spread by the gubment in those inexplicable chemtrails you see crisscrossing the air above you.
Because, obviously, someone of such incredible genius such as yourself is of extreme interest by the government's top intelligence and law enforcement agencies that they'll spend tens of thousands of dollars in tech, equipment, and man-hours to monitor 24/7.
Or maybe there's just a software or hardware glitch in your phone.

They don't need to. The US, UK, Pakistani, and Chinese governments already spy on India enough.
I work for a large telephony company. In the US, if the government was spying on you, you wouldn't know about it. There's actually regulations built around how they spy on you, called CALEA (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communications_Assistance_for_Law_Enforcement_Act)
Basically, the telephone company has a security group whose job is to receive CALEA requests, and essentially they fork your call into a 3 way call whenever you make/receive anything. That's how modern wiretapping works. No one outside of that group is legally allowed to know anything about it. It doesn't show up in call signalling.
As for the wide-spread stuff that the NSA was grabbing, they're grabbing "call metadata" so essentially the signaling information, and CDRS (call detail records). It's not the same thing as a wiretap, but you can still get a lot of information out of it.

But all jokes aside ('bout time someone took this half-seriously besides SidDev), I would try getting a stock firmware image and just flash that through ODIN. Doing this will erase your data, so make a backup of anything you really care about. I remember my old Rugby Smart had an issue where if the device was off and I plugged it into the wall socket to charge, it would say there was no battery inserted. However there was one inserted, and it would charge just fine if it was on. I just flashed back to stock firmware through ODIN and it fixed the issue.
If it still persists after flashing through ODIN, then it is probably a hardware issue. Unfortunately, I am not as experienced with hardware-related issues, so I wont be able to help with that if that is what it comes down to.
SidDev is right. It is either a software or hardware relates issue. Although the gubmit is spying on you (n' all of us as well), it wouldn't cause anything like that. If anything, the gubmit WOULDN'T want the phone to show weird signs, because that would make you suspicious..
