can you get past a cell phone jammer? - Touch Pro2 CDMA

there is a place i go to that has a jammer and i need to know if there is an app or something out there that can override the jammer, does anyone know of an app that does that.

no, thats not something an app can do
the only thing you copuld do would be to find the jammer and unplug it, lol

thats a bummer

Submit a complaint to the FCC. Most of them are illegal.

He is right. Under very few instances are jammers allowed. And the FCC has to approve of the jammer use or there are large fines.

Interesting. I went to a restaurant a couple of years ago that boasted they had a cell phone jammer on premises. Not sure if it was legal or not, but it was a bit annoying.

I would if it wasnt the church I attend LOL, got to keep everyone (like me) from checkin game scores during service LOL also lots of people are too stupid to set their phones on vibrate so i guess its the tards in the place that make this thing necessary.
thanks for the input tho.

i'd just let her go dude, theres more fish in the sea...

Good cell phone jammers use random generators, cell phones and wireless equipment r built to notice and compensate for standard patterned interference like microwaves or other wireless equipment, only way is wifi phone or voip, or both, or a massive lightning rod for an antenna, only other way would be to make a device to put back the jamming signal but inverted, which would require a team of engineers and $70 in parts plus various law violations as well as prolly being kicked out of school.

I don't think there's any app can override cell phone jammer espow.com/wholesale-security-jammer.html , the only way you can do is to get away from it.

the only way to beat a jammer is to be "louder" than the jammer... which would entail a hardware mod to the device to boost the power of its transmitting signal.
However, I would imagine that the extra power required might well be at the level where it can actually start warming stuff up.

hm... why do you want to know? from what I can make of it, they work by blocking radio signals...
Using something wifi and voip could get around the cell phone jammers since they are blocking lower frequency radio signals... wifi works on higher frequency

Hey, you seem to know what your talking about, with this phone jammer thing I need your help on a similar subject,
---------- Post added at 07:58 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:50 AM ----------
So there is a jamer that's blocking my phone. It has rendered my phone useless. I don't need any BS on the legality and dumb advice on how to unplug the jammer. What can I do to my phone or buy extra in order to beat this thing. Names tony. Thanks to you guys that are really trying to help.

I don't think there's a program to stop the phone jammer. After all, the power generated by a cell phone can't be compared to a jammer. If you really need a solution, you can only use interference to counter the interference. perfectjammer.com/all-gsm-3g-jammers-blockers.html . For details, please refer to this article.

Hello, there is no program that can override the jammer. Please refer to perfectjammer.com for details.
Although this kind of equipment technology already very common, but at present through the software still cannot achieve.

What hardware mod could I downloaded safely that would work to beat the cell phone Jammers

I'm on a moto gplay 6 and I'd like to know how I can bost my signal and beat cellphone jammers

Dualing phones

I'm currently running an HTC touch pro 2 and i still have my HTC touch pro. I turned my TP1 on the other day for the first time in many months and the phone picked up a text message, not only did it pick it up, it picked it up at the same time my TP2 did. Unfortunately it hasn't happened since.
What i'd like to know, is there a way i can emulate the IMIE number on the tp2, so that i can have both my TP2 and my TP1 working at the same time.
I want to be able to use my TP1 as a full data device while i make my calls on my TP2 or vice versa.
If you can't post the answer here for what ever reason feel free to private message me.
*edit it will recieve every txt message that is sent to my number but it won't send and it won't take incoming calls.
Good luck with that, cause that aint gonna happen. Well, at least not anyway that I can possibly think of. Carriers wont allow more than one phone per mobile number. They say it isn't possible, but I personally think it IS possible and that they just wont allow it. Technically, it should be able to work. But the problems would fall with the GPS. Even if GPS was on in one device while off on the other, they couldn't track someone if they wanted to. I'm sure there are other reasons to this. I have never heard of what you are experiencing. They probabbly didn't fully remove the old phone's IMIE data from the system, hence why you can receive texts but not send anything. What service are you on?

1) unfortunately telus.
2) The GPS on my phones has been completely deactivated except for when I want to turn it on. I refuse to allow someone to turn it on remotely, also in Canada that's akin to wireless phone tapping so the cops can't do it. And even if they could legally i'd still reprogram my phone so they can't.
3) That's my point. If they didn't fully remove it and my old phone can still get the txt messages that means they can re-add the old MEIE numbers back to the system and both should work. OR if i could put an emulator onto my phone or even hard code the MEIE number change on my old phone to the same as my new one...
Remember back in the day when cellphones were still a new thing, the brick and bag phones and so on, well someone figured out how to clone phones and the practice caught on like wildfire and since then has been literally outlawed. AS IN IT IS ILLEGAL TO CLONE ONE OR MORE PHONES TO THE SAME IMEI, MSID, DEC OR HEX SERIAL TO GAIN USE OF MULTIPLE PHONES ON THE SAME LINE AT THE SAME TIME. Not being mean or an ass to you, but I would research this a little bit and tread lightly on the subject. Stuff like this is not tolerated very well on xda.
Plus, now it would be almost impossible to do this with any carrier as the data the phone sends out is not just what you want it to. Whenever it connects to the network is sends and receives configuration data such as manufacturer and model among other things and will throw red flags if it doesnt match up to what the expected result of the data sent and received to the network and carrier has on file.
Again, tread lightly on this path.
"AS IN IT IS ILLEGAL TO CLONE" I'm serious, I'd like to see an actual Canadian law stating this. And if it's not illegal in Canada then it's a legit question. Well it's still legit.
"not tolerated very well on xda." Why? the whole point of these forums is to learn and teach people how to modify their phones. If they didn't want people sharing this information they should never have started this website to begin with.
As to my actual question and as to one stated answer
"They probably didn't fully remove the old phone's IMIE data from the system"
If it's still partially in the system that means it could be wholly in the system and means it should be able to be done. If they say it can't but i'm still getting txts on both phones that means the carriers are lying and are just making excuses to get more money. If thats all it is i'll do my best to get every penny out of them for every penny they're stealing from me.
Ok rant done, how do I clone my IMIE number? (no i won't tread lightly)

its considered fraud under the law in most counties, like changing the VIN on a car, even if there isnt a specific law to deal with it
and besides that, its against the rules of this forum, so even if it was legal to do its not ok to ask about here

Your making a mountain out of a mole hill and there is a very real difference between a 6 or 8 hundred dollar phone and 15 thousand dollar plus car; unless you own both then i see no issue switching out the vin, as long as you own the cars.
as to being the against forum policy i challenge that on the simple fact there is nothing wrong with sharing knowledge.

Just search on google, and you will find what you need. There are programs like cdma workshop out there.

Automatic Self Destroy / Wipe

Well I had the misfortune of getting all of my stuff stolen by some crooked F****r
This happen to include my Infuse, nice and shiny
I am really... really ticked... so I was curious
Is there such a thing as a program or condition that one could put into their phone where a security test would be frequently asked (something that isn't annoying but catches unauthorized users) to verify the authorized user ie owner of the device?
Also the program would have to be have some leniency as I don't want it to brick itself when I ask somebody to check my messages of course I would tell them the code or trick whatever it may be.
I need something that when the phone is in jeopardy, it will destroy the device as well as all of the data that has accumulated on this device...
I just hate... absolutely hate with the blackest black like a black hole of hatred, when I have this feeling of "some bastard out there is freely running through my device" and I can't do **** about it.
Which happens to have past data on it, even if my SIM is terminated and my phone is cut off... there is still the numbers, photos, messages and such
Man I tell you, these lowlife scums... really? I was in a college cafeteria, I have my coat sitting there in front of everyone, I was sitting alone, I get up to get some fruit, when I come back, the coat is gone.
Yeah I left it unattended but at the same time you have to consider the fact that maybe these humans have something called morals in their little brains.
It's like... WTF
Plus the University Police's cameras suck... you would think that their capability of funding a $60 million dollar building, that perhaps they could install cameras which could do more than just differentiate whether a human is a girl or a guy.
Anyways... aside from all this bull
What can you guys think of... is there something like this?
I may just make it myself if something like this isn't already made, I'm so pissed
I just wanted to kill whoever this person was (not really as I could never do that) but man I was about ready to pick up this desk and hurl it at the window...
Thank you guys in advance for the read and perhaps an answer to my question.
Sorry for your loss.
SeekDroid is my phone's best friend. You can locate, lock, force an alarm, and wipe the phone from a computer. You can also see the phone number of the sim, along with a list of the last 10 placed calls. On top of all this, you can also force the app to hide on the phone so that nobody can uninstall it. Insanely cheap for what it offers.

I'm sure there is a lock out there that will wipe data or whatever you want if you get the passcode wrong a certain amount of times. You should use a screen lock from now on though... quick and easy for everyday use. And when something happens like this at least you know the dickhead has a paperweight and can't get past the lockscreen. You can also password lock the sim card too. I'm sorry about your stolen device. :/

How much is this app? It's a one time buy right?
The thing is, how helpful are these things when the phone is off? I guess the criminal would have to turn the phone on at some point
The main thing that concerns me (besides the fact that it's stolen) is the data still being on there, it's my privacy you know? I am entitled to it just like everyone else, as private as one can get here in the US anyways which I would say is pretty good... anyways
slapshot30
I used to use screen locks, I just got annoyed by it
I just have the little puzzle piece (or had)
I just want the phone to be useless, although if there was a chance for me to get it back, I'd like to be able to restore it (bricking I guess is what this is)
I just want to scream "MY BABY!!!! IT'S MISSING!!!!!" In a girl shrieking voice hahaha
Anyways, thanks guys I will heed your warnings and look into this app
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
What about the condition that the phone would terminate itself when it detects that someone else is using the phone
Say it gives you three tries to enter the authorization code
The unbricking would be easy (due to the way the app is programmed) so that if I accidentally bricked it on myself by not entering the code right, it wouldn't be a hassle to restore it.

I hated lock screens also. I'm constantly opening my phone out and to have to spend 3 seconds unlocking it gets annoying. I used to use WheresMyDroid (free on the Market) and its nice for finding the phone. By texting the phone (from any number) a special code, the phone will send gps latitude/longitude of the phones location and another special code will force the phone to play an alarm. It's not so great compared to SeekDroid, but it doesn't need data.
SeekDroid needs data, so if you send a bunch of commands, it won't be recognized until the phone establishes an online connection. So if the phone is off, then nothing can be done. But there's a high chance that they'll turn it on eventually. And there's an even higher chance that they'll try going online with it. From what I remember, it was $1 for the app. It was on Amazon's FAD a couple of times. Looks like the app is now $4.99 on the Market, but there is a lite version that you can try out. I think it's a steal even at $4.99.
get an app called seek droid
only cost a buck and works great
log into their webiste and you can wipe your internal and external memory cards, make an alarm go off even of phone is on silent (this lost phone) and other stuff.
also lets you set a password remotely. pretty awesome

sorry to hear about stolen phone, but folks dont go out and spend money on those apps. Did I not read the reply or did I just miss the one that reminds us all they are 95% USELESS. They are P.O.S!!! They will only work if the phone 1) is powered on 2) has cellular coverage 3) has your sim in it.
All anyone has to do is turn it off, travel out of coverage range, or simply take out or replace the sim.

at least this gives you a chance as long as your proactive and get on it fast.
you get the choice to locate it, or completely wipe everything off the phone, which is what i would do because i wouldn't want someone to be able to screw with my email account, facebook, contacts, and everything else on my phone.
not to mention being able to set off an alarm on my phone even when its on silent has helped me find it a few times when it decides to go deep sea couch diving
hmm Really? might make it worth looking into then. Because according to big brother (ATT) and apple. The only was those work is by sending a message/signal to the device. if the device is off or has no signal there is no way to for the service. if its a free download. I'll download it and then remove my sim and try pinging it

[Q] Unusual Camera questions

Hey people reading this! So this is the deal I live in spain and my school is discussing make mobile phones such as android and blackberry allowed in teh school. But there´s a problem in Spain there´s a law that says you aren´t allowed to take a picture of somebody and upload it to internet without there permission. yes dumb I know but that´s the law and the school doesn´t want the students to get int trouble nor do they want to get into legal twists and so on. So my question is there a possibility to develop an app that uses the camera minimal usage like using no intake of light = black. So other apps can´t access the sue of the camera. And have it sync with the schools servers with the latest calender and so on. But the twist is is it possible without root access. I´m not very experienced in the android field but I would appreciate some heads up on this. My head tells me it would be possible on black berry android but not ios.
Thankyou for all your answers in advance, and also thankyou for you taking your time to read this.:good:

How it would be useful is cause the networks proxy server would send a push notification that autostarts the app and drops the connection to the device if the app was exited/terminated by the user. I know it´s possible to do it the question is, is it possible to do it without root accsess. That´s how schoool keep themselves out of trouble cause you wouldn´t be allowed to use your phone without being connected to the network. There will also be distruptors set around the school so no tele signals can be used which essentially kills of the problem with calls and SMS. Thankyou for your answer anyways tho

There will also be distruptors set around the school so no tele signals can be used which essentially kills of the problem with calls and SMS. Thankyou for your answer anyways tho

There are some problems with this logic:
1.) The connection to the device will most likely be a wi-fi connection, therefore killing that connection will not stop someone from uploading a picture using the mobile network
2.) You are talking about the school setting up cell disruptors around the campus. You might want to check whether this is legal with the laws in your country, as here in the US it is a felony to tamper with the cell networks using any sort of cell network disruptor.
3.) Since the camera can be used without a network, what is to stop someone from taking a picture of someone, then going home to upload it?
Now, to answer your questions, we would need more information. Are these devices being provided by the school, or are they BYOD (students bring their own devices)? If they are provided by the school, you can create a custom rom that does not have any assets for the camera, therefore any camera app would be forced to close, as they can't access the resources it needs. This would require root access. If it is BYOD, you face a much larger issue as forcing students to install an app that could potentially alter data on their devices might be in conflict with privacy laws in place in your country. Again, you would have to conduct more research into the legal issues that are brought up.

Oh it is legal there and may be come legal here if things don't change soon. That same law will becoming to us soon don't doubt it. With the privacy concerns coming up we will see this sooner or later.
No to answer the OP. No you won't be able to do this without root. There are some companies that sell devices without cameras just for this purpose as alot of business don't allow camera phones in the building. That maybe you other option.

Are you referring to the use of cell disruptors? I highly doubt that this would ever become legal in the states, as the potential for abuse is too great. There is also other concerns that these can be used against law enforcement to block their communication, which could be bad during instances of conducting a search warrant, or to block emergency communication, which is why the use of cell disruptors is prohibited by the FCC in the first place.

We will see. I already keep 2 one in my car and one in my kids car. Activated when the car starts. If they do become legal completely I am sure that law enforcement will have other means.

To answer you question yes this is a BYOD type of deal and how the school are going to keep themselves out of trouble, is that you aren´t allowed to use a cell phone without being connected to the network. The cell disruptors are legal and the privacy concerns are also green since there is ofc going to be a terms & conditions agreement to accept or decline the first time you open up the application. Ina ll honesty the school just wanna cover there asses so they don´t have problems in the future. So it´s not there problem anymore if someone kills the app and the phone disconnects from the network and they take a picture. Most people don´t use an autostart manager so it won´t be a huge problem either.
Now you say that it isn´t possible to do this without root access then we got an issue that isn´t solvable. Or is it just to complicated to develop? From what i understand they have the resources to do it if it´s possible.
Why I got involved in all this was cause I had kinda the same ideas and I was talking to one of the teachers and he told me that the principal teacher had similar ideas. So I went and talked to him, my thought process were let´s put our ideas together. Then he told me about this issue. And finally why I´m asking you all this is cause I don´t have any experience in programming alltho I do have a lot of experience with both computers and cell phones.
Thankx yet again for all your replies so far I appreciate it a lot!

being tracked

I have been searching but haven't found the direct, straight answer so I finally break down and ask anyone with a broader knowledge on rooted devices. Basically my concerned is being tracked. Ive been reading some of the scripts written for apps and widgets and it seems surprisingly easy to inject a few extras of your own so in a nutshell if for example you were to execute a track script into an app and stuck your sd card into that phone to "share" this particular app with someone, saying you correctly injected, would you then have access to tracking them whether or not gps was on?
Any perspective will be very much appreciated. ...

Are you asking out of sincere concern or malice. The way I read that it sounds creepy and that you are wanting to track someone. To answer your question yes it is possible.

Concern. I'd never do that to someone. Even if I knew how. So your saying it's possible? Is this with or without gps active
Depends on who's doing the tracking.
Police and higher will have no problem tracking your phone anywhere its on. Without GPS they can triangulate you. With GPS, its, of course, exact.
If you don't want to be tracked, don't have your phone on. I'd go one further and say don't even have the battery in the device.
I believe WiFi knows where it is as well, so tracking you wouldn't be hard if you took out your aim card and didn't allow the device to connect to a mobile network.
Now.. Would be thieves/crackers/cyber criminals would probably have access to the same information if you ran their program. If they had access to cell tower names and locations (this can be found on Google I'm sure) then they could figure out what tower you're using. I don't think they could triangulate your position though since that would require access to the towers they likely don't have or won't get. They'd get a rough idea simply from the tower you're connected to and can make assumptions about you're movement.
This would be stupid to do though, because, GPS. If they manage to get that information, there's no hiding.
tl;dr if yous hidin' from da gubbment, it ain't happenin' unless yous phone is off. If yous hiding from a thug, it ain't really happening either.
Your best bet is to be very careful of the apps you install. Don't side load apps. Choose your ROMs from known sources etc etc

Thank you, well not hiding from government as just hoping nothings been installed without me knowing where getting my live location could be executionable. I know someone with access to live satellite feeds capable of zooming into window's so I'm sure writing script into an app then placing it on your sd card wouldn't surprise me, but I'm curious is there a way to tell? Like sd maid she could catch that couldn't she? Or something that would clue a person in. Like email or text spying or even camera activation. Man now I feel pariond......
Don't feel paranoid, they're all legitimate questions and I'm sure someone else here is curious as well. I know I am.
We need to start some sort of hardening type discussion. I doubt xda is the place to do it though. There's some smart people on here who likely know but I wouldn't know how to go about getting their attention.
G+ might be a better place to ask. Maybe even Reddit.

Am I Being Spied Upon by the Government?

I got a samsung S3. At times I notice the status bar change different colors and flash weird letters. It almost looks alien like. This happens like twice a week. Could this be the government spying on me?

I guess its not about government spying as if a government spies it does via network so it does affect the hardware or phone software.

Maybe you should wrap your Galaxy S3 in aluminum foil. That should prevent alien attacks, at least.
Do you not watch the news? The government is spying on us all. Congress knows about it. The judicial branch says it is ok and the Executive just doesn't care.
Its only because you rooted your device and was put in a watch list.... Government doesn't like not having control... [emoji12]
One way to be sure you are bing watch is if you ever notice light aircraft or helicopters in your area then you can be sure the have seen you. If you look at them and they fly off then they have notice you have seen them are are trying to be inconspicuous. Never go outside without a tinfoil hat. You can hide one easily under a top hat or cowboy hat, even a bowlers hat.
We all gonna dieeeeeeeeeee!
Nonsense, the only people spying on your phone is the Illuminati, They're watching us all...

One way to be sure youre a paranoid troll with tendencies to harm women is if you post comments like this, people like myself will reply with comments like mine. If you look at them and they dont look at you, it explaims why youre angry at them. Never try to talk to them. You'll only end up being rejected and as a result, more angry.

My phone isn't rooted yet. Youre right about the government though.
In first world countries this is an issue, yet I cannot say that this is very true for all classes of countries, namely 3rd world countries.
I am sensitive that NSA surveillance in the US does overlap the barriers of privacy and security, as the main operators are humans and not machines, yet I do not confirm this is true, this is just speculation. They can choose to cross those barriers without us even noticing them.
However in regards to being spied upon by the government, it will go as far only as you'd let them get information. I have simulated your errors by means of Network Security testing, and yes I am a Network Admin and simulate stealing information. What i can say is this, if the government uses technology by means of any frequency via Wifi, Bluetooh, GPS, etc and you have these on, then you have to be extra careful. Most tracking agencies do not leave the spying to machines, they do it themselves and can choose to go beyond stealing your "Intellectual Rights" so to speak.
I also have Hardbricked and soft-bricked devices in my simulations. But what I can is that you should be responsible for gathering facts and truths about this matter. It is foolish to speculate upon the government without knowing of the tools that they use in acquiring private information.
I hope my article has helped you, and i do wish this thread is closed as it is.

if it continues in airplane mode also its hardware or software problem.

The truth is that you ARE being spied upon by the government. The FBI, CIA, TSA, and NSA are SO incompetent in their spy work that their spying causes graphical glitches on your phone. These glitches are caused by the syncing with the NFC chip that was injected into you the least time you got a shot at the doctor's office. You only noticed these glitches because there weren't enough pacifying hallucinogens in the atmosphere spread by the gubment in those inexplicable chemtrails you see crisscrossing the air above you.
Because, obviously, someone of such incredible genius such as yourself is of extreme interest by the government's top intelligence and law enforcement agencies that they'll spend tens of thousands of dollars in tech, equipment, and man-hours to monitor 24/7.
Or maybe there's just a software or hardware glitch in your phone.

They don't need to. The US, UK, Pakistani, and Chinese governments already spy on India enough.
I work for a large telephony company. In the US, if the government was spying on you, you wouldn't know about it. There's actually regulations built around how they spy on you, called CALEA (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communications_Assistance_for_Law_Enforcement_Act)
Basically, the telephone company has a security group whose job is to receive CALEA requests, and essentially they fork your call into a 3 way call whenever you make/receive anything. That's how modern wiretapping works. No one outside of that group is legally allowed to know anything about it. It doesn't show up in call signalling.
As for the wide-spread stuff that the NSA was grabbing, they're grabbing "call metadata" so essentially the signaling information, and CDRS (call detail records). It's not the same thing as a wiretap, but you can still get a lot of information out of it.

But all jokes aside ('bout time someone took this half-seriously besides SidDev), I would try getting a stock firmware image and just flash that through ODIN. Doing this will erase your data, so make a backup of anything you really care about. I remember my old Rugby Smart had an issue where if the device was off and I plugged it into the wall socket to charge, it would say there was no battery inserted. However there was one inserted, and it would charge just fine if it was on. I just flashed back to stock firmware through ODIN and it fixed the issue.
If it still persists after flashing through ODIN, then it is probably a hardware issue. Unfortunately, I am not as experienced with hardware-related issues, so I wont be able to help with that if that is what it comes down to.
SidDev is right. It is either a software or hardware relates issue. Although the gubmit is spying on you (n' all of us as well), it wouldn't cause anything like that. If anything, the gubmit WOULDN'T want the phone to show weird signs, because that would make you suspicious..
