Does anyone else have viber problems? I dont receive any notification from viber, i can see my messages only when i go to app and it all started when i updated to m, b560. I tried all "normal" ways to fix that but for now without luck. Can anyone help me with that, its pretty anoying, im not using it too much but it still boders me[emoji20]

I fix my problem with viber not showing nottification this way:
Go to viber settings - general and check show viber statis icon.
Next download app Light Manager and add viber to Led nottification.

I've had my Sony Smartwatch for a week and for some reason earlier today it stopped receiving notifications. My partner has one also and I checked my settings against hers and all is correct.
It connects to Bluetooth and the clock works, fine and it stays connected.
I've tried doing a reset but it still doesn't work.
Short of completely uninstalling everything I don't know what else to do.
Has this happened to anybody else?

are you using a specific app for deliver the notifications?
Have you installed some app to controll permissions, internet conections or something like that?
I haven't got a dedicated notifier. I just have Facebook and Twitter, as I've said it was all working fine up until yesterday.

What about the second question?
Have you checked that you still are logined on that services? Also have you checked the settings of that plugins? There you can set what kind of notifications to receive.

Oh I forget to tell you, I have experienced something similar in the past with the music player widget (when I don't use walkman) sometimes the widget stopped working and I used to uninstall it and reinstall it again to get properly working again.

I have the same Problem with the Music Application. Only a hard Reset helps... But that can't be the solution! I reinstalled it many times, but the Problem is not solved.

A few days ago I noticed that the Phone app kept running in the background and took its toll on the battery. Funny thing is even if I enable Airplane mode it keeps doing it. But when I connect the charger the app stoppes running. :S
I even recieved the new OTA update which should have a new Phone app, but the issue remains.
Does anyone have any idea what could be the cause of this?

I have the same issue here 27% used battery by "Phone"
- UK Moto G with latest 4.4.2 (No Root, 100% stock).
- Apps disabled: Calendar, Google Play Books, Messaging, Motorola Assists.
- Using Google Now Launcher.
- Vodafone (just saying because it says: Vodafone SIM under battery info.
No idea how to stop it...tried a lot of things...(reboot, stop many apps, everything) and still keeps increasing the wake time counter.
I also noticed that the MOTO G wasn't receiving SMS! It had never received an SMS. (Anyway the Phone is new...1 week usage).
I fixed both things (the Phone wake lock and the SMS reception) doing many of the following (random picked) steps:
- Re-enable: Messaging app, Motorola Assist app.
- Change default SMS APP from Hangouts to Messaging.
- Deleted all SMS threads (Because the outgoing SMS were working fine). .
- Rebooted the Phone.
Result: I've received all my pending SMSs (most of them from the carrier).
Now i switched back to Hangouts and it's still working.
And the Phone app finally stopped. (Wake up counter stopped).

I Have been looking for an answer to my problem with no success...
Here it is: yesterday, suddenly both sms and gmail apps stopped displaying all my messages. Only the latest 5 would be displayed on my watch. This happened at the same time for both extensions. I had been using my watch for months with about 20 messages in my gmail account and dozens of sms, all displayed on my watch with no problem, available even offline.
Tried to uninstall reinstall apps, reset the smartwatch, nothing solved the problem
Anybody observed this before?

I had some problem with connection so I uninstalled Gmail extension and everything is ok now, but vibrations when sms income not working.

Is the app Greenified?
I had a similar sort of problem on my old phone with twitter notifications. I fixed it using Push Notification Fixer(PNF) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.andqlimax.pushfixer.noroot&hl=en

I got mate 8 (Chinese version) about a week ago and it's an amazing device but it has a major issue with receiving notifications!!! Having an amazing phone with such major issue is like having a BMW with Toyota engine!!! Has anyone find any solution to this issue?

Hi there. I got the same problem (chinese version) Try to allow Auto start, keep wlan and mobile data on during sleep, allow app to run on backround and change the power plan to performance and let us know if it worked for you. Mine didnt work tho

Do you also have problem with the google maps? It cant determinate the location on wlan and netowrks. Only if i switch on the GPS.

Hi at all in the general page of Huawei Mate 8 in this forum speak that the problem isn't the Mate 8 but new version of Android, and change same option solve this problem, try to see it
Update from the new firmware B137 for AL-10. It seems the push notifications for FB messenger, whatsapp are working better now but gmail and viber doesnt. You still need to open the viber app to get the messeges or turn on the screen to get the emails... Tested after restarting phone and left it on sleep mode without opening any of the apps. Battery mode set on perfomance. If set on smart doesnt work. But the problem comes back if you free up the memory.
The other problem with google map still remains. It cant determinate your possition on network and wlans (battery saving mode) only if you switch to gps (high accuaracy)
B137 Update
I just updated to the B137 update, and I was able to get notifications from viber, twitter but not from whatsapp or snapchat so therefore I decided to update whatsapp via the hi app as it had an update. I updated it and after was then not able to receive any notifications from viber or twitter either. I deleted the whatsapp and re installed it again from the one in play store and was able to get twitter and viber notifications back again which was strange but i am still unable to get notifications from whatsapp and snapchat. ive checked permissions and notification settings between the four apps and they are all the same.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

And now i get no notifications from any app until i open up the app; such a good phone but such a same it has such a huge bug :/
The L29 does not have notification issues.
Sucks that only the AL10 has this issue :/
