i had this situation i did not backed up my efs so i lost my imei after flashing rom..now its okay i took it to a local repair shop they fixed it within 1 hour and the imei is changed..now i backed up my efs..can i flash rom safely?
yeah...you can flash a rom since you have backup of your imei
In case you stuck in bootloops or recovery saying drk blalala you need to flash space kernel with odin to get it boot up...but you will not fix drk...you need to do this every time you flash stock

Unless you specifically backed up modem_st1.bin and modem_st2.bin via an EFS backup (which you absolutely should have done) you're pretty much screwed. Those files aren't backed up during a standard nandroid backup. There are some threads here in the q&a section and in the general section that claim to be able to restore an EFS partition but they're hit and miss.

Are u backed up u r rom with efs? ( if no then its real head ache) generally mutirom recovery and latest 2.8.7.0 TWRP uses efs backup action
SEE which recovery u used to backup?
I think u not thats why this is happening!
If u r backup has efs then it should work
Just wipe factory reset and then restore u r nandroid backup
Been there
If you still can't get it working try this.
Remove sim
Fastboot erase modem modemst1
Fastboot erase modem modemst2
Reboot everything should be back to normal.
If not working still flash cm 11s and repeat the fastboot steps.
Also try with twrp version 2.6.0
Hope this helps it worked for me.
If you have constant reboot problem try this fix
Fastbooe erase persist

Whoa, when erasing persist you must flash persist again afterwards.

Don't panic
It took me 2 days of looking through different threads to find a solution that worked for me. I have a folder with modems twrp 2.6.0.img the persist.img I used and a tool that flashed stock cm11s in Qualcomm mode. I will link it if anyone needs it. (Google Drive).
In the end the only thing that got my baseband and WiFi back was to erase modemst1 and2.
I lost my IMEI ...
I tried to factory reset... Flashing cos 12 but nothing helped.
The support of OPO help with this Tool ... OnePlusOneMigration from forums.oneplus.net/threads/an-oxygenos-update.317098/ ... And now my IMEI number is showing and everthing works.. Flashed then my favorit rom... root... And everthing works...

First you need a pc with the fastboot drivers setup, put phone in Fastboot mode, make sure it's reading it "Fastboot devices" should give your phone info. Now the commands.
Fastboot erase modem modemst1 followed by Fastboot erase modem modemst2 it will be quick. Now Reboot and signal should return along with wifi. If still no go flash latest cm full page or cm11s and start updating till you get to the latest version.
Hope this helps.
Hello there!
I have been in your situation.
I had tried almost all the solutions given on forums but nothing helped!
What really did the trick and saved me from sending my phone back for service was flashing Oxygen Os V1. Try searching it on forums, don't have a link right now!
It restored my IMEI and my WiFi worked! And then I took a EFS backup and flashed my preferred ROM!
Something important though: The Oxygen Zip I flashed had the another Zip inside, so I first had to unzip it to flash it!
Try that and If you need any help, Pm me, would be glad to help!
I had the same problem a while ago; no sim, no wifi and no cellular.
My problem was solved by putting the phone in fastboot mode and type these commands:
Fastboot erase modem modemst1
Fastboot erase modem modemst2
After that i flashed a cm12.1 nightly and my problem was solved!
For some people flashing oxygen OS was solving the problem because it uses a different modem.
Good luck
For me flashing oxygen os worked.
So I was just messing around with some ROMs and then suddenly it wouldn't connect to network, so i checked IMEI. And sure enough it's now 0/01. I tried flashing stock firmware with Odin multiple times with no success. I have root and TWRP recovery if that helps, and no backup of EFS.
Maybe someone could send me a backup of their EFS?

Before rooting my phone ive fully backup it first at custom twrp 3.1.1 before flashing the supersu at option #7. Ive lost my simcard signal then restore the backup ive made earlier but still my sim signal didnt came back. I just want to advised you that if you're going to root your phone after flashing twrp 3.1.1 reboot your phone to see if there is still sim signal because ive suspected that flashing the twrp 3.1.1 is the reason of loosing sim signal and not the rooting process (flashing supersu)

Flashing custom recovery not cause you lost your signal. You might currupted your efs partition.

Recovery flash with OEM ROM from oppo.com should fix corrupted NV issue and network signal loss caused by fastboot recovery flashing

Hello friends, first post here. I'm a total beginner and ****ed up my G930F and don't know how to fix it.
Here it is:
1 I have an stock s7,
2 installed twrp via odin but the system entered in a bootloop. just data and formated system, didnt choose any other option.
3 Gave up on the stock ROM. Copied the batman ROM into the internal memory with the phone in twrp.
4 Flashed twrp, everything working pretty fine, but IMEI gone.
5 I dont have efs backup. I Thought that if I did not touch EFS WIPE, i wouldnt have any problems.
Can you give me some help?
Thanks

If you are coming from Thé last Stock rom, you must flash the lastest bootloader and modem by using Odin.
You'll finde bt and modem in Ironman rom thread ?
After flashing the latest Lineage build on my XT1965-3 'lake', i stuck with no IMEI and no service. Foolishly, I made a TWRP backup from my second XT1965-3, on which Lineage has run perfectly for a few months now, thinking, that I could simply restore the backup on my new XT1965-3.
After flashing all the partitions, including efs, the IMEI is still gone, but this time even when I flash back to the latest stock ROM. Reading around, I realized that restoring the efs from another phon was pretty stupid.
However,
Code:
fastboot getvar all
still prints the valid IMEI, so it is not completely gone. But how can I get it back in stock ROM (or Lineage)?
