Before rooting my phone ive fully backup it first at custom twrp 3.1.1 before flashing the supersu at option #7. Ive lost my simcard signal then restore the backup ive made earlier but still my sim signal didnt came back. I just want to advised you that if you're going to root your phone after flashing twrp 3.1.1 reboot your phone to see if there is still sim signal because ive suspected that flashing the twrp 3.1.1 is the reason of loosing sim signal and not the rooting process (flashing supersu)

i had the same problem, when i boot it, it shows no service but the signal is present, also i did revert back to CM12 due to rebooting but hope now i when to CM13/Android 5 it will be better
It happens to me yesterday, make me depressed too. After i flashed hydrogenos, want to back to 12.1 suddenly no sim detected and constant reboot, already tried flashing back to lot of kk n lp rom, restore nand backup and flashing fw but useless. And i think my sim card hardware broke. But i googled "hydrogenos no sim" and i got the solution. U can try google it, i think its on reddit, but i cant share here since my gsm operator blocked that web. The point is u have to restore efs. I use bacon root toolkit. As i remember u have to be on kk 44s to restore it, cmiiw, and only when on 44s my opo didnt have any single reboot when try to restore efs. And it saved my life and my opo. Now it can read ny simcard and no constant reboot anymore. Sorry for my bad english and hope it help you, good luck

Use this guide to restore efs .. BTW let your phone cool down first ... And see if random reboots are gone.
constantly resetting the modem was reading vision problems because you use the most recent of which was rum that you can install on your phone sim card again receive the modem's ROM will improve again

What happened to me, i was flash hydrogen os came from blisspop, but not for long i restore my blisspop from twrp recovery, restore success but no sim card detected and havin a constant reboot, wifi keep on disconect and phone hot as hell. Already try flashing another rom aicp, rr, mahdi etc and changing fw, twrp version, gapps, restore backup kk lp rom but still all fail still no sim and reboot. But last rom im on before my opo was back normal, is kk 44s, that version not having a constant reboot dont know why, not like 05Q that keep on rebooting. Confuse and depressed then i found a guy with some case like me. I try to restore my efs backup using bacon root toolkit and suddenly my sim card detected and signal came back, all normal and not having reboot anymore. Try flashing another rom and all normal again no problem at all. Kk 44s im on was calkulins rom. Im not restoring 44s since i only have 05Q backup in twrp. So i flashed 44S from calkulins
Calkulins kk 44s

Clone my wife's OPO onto my OPO?

Hi - My wife's OPO has a GPS that's starting to misbehave. I have a OPO that I'm not using very much anymore. My wife's OPO is on Lollipop, and my OPO is on Marshmallow.
I wanted to do a full TWRP backup of her phone, and then restore it onto my phone. Is this possible? Also, what special steps should I / shouldn't I do?
Thanks,
¿GJ?
Hi,
you just need to downgrade your FW to LP one and then you can do TWRP restore...
I did that couple times when I tried MM on my OPO...
Just be sure *NOT* restore efs. Your device might get hard-bricked and your IMEI might get lost. I repeat *DO NOT RESTORE EFS*.

Thanks @djha53k!
Is there anything I should be concerned about with respect to the IMEI or other radio stuff? Which partitions should I backup & restore from my wife's phone? I'm see the Firmware, EFS, Boot, System, and Data partitions.

Nope, just:
- do the TWRP backup of your and wife's One.
- download the latest CM12.1 - it include the LP FW itself.
- copy all data (SD included) off both mobiles to your PC
- wipe your One entirely in TWRP (SD included) in TWRP
- copy your wife's SD content to your One
- install CM12.1 in TWRP
- wipe System/Data/Cache/Dalvik
- restore wifes TWRP backup
- boot
In 99% your One will boot as your wife's One
Thanks, guys! I'll try this tomorrow!
Thanks for the help, @djha53k and @barisuraz! I was able to clone my wife's phone without any issues, and maintained marital bliss.

IMEI lost after flashing batman

Hello friends, first post here. I'm a total beginner and ****ed up my G930F and don't know how to fix it.
Here it is:
1 I have an stock s7,
2 installed twrp via odin but the system entered in a bootloop. just data and formated system, didnt choose any other option.
3 Gave up on the stock ROM. Copied the batman ROM into the internal memory with the phone in twrp.
4 Flashed twrp, everything working pretty fine, but IMEI gone.
5 I dont have efs backup. I Thought that if I did not touch EFS WIPE, i wouldnt have any problems.
Can you give me some help?
Thanks

If you are coming from Thé last Stock rom, you must flash the lastest bootloader and modem by using Odin.
You'll finde bt and modem in Ironman rom thread ?

Question SIM not working :)

Sorry to bother you, but I have a little problem and I need your help.
I have Lenovo Phab Plus,
Recently flashed stock rom by QcomDloader
But after that system was taking about 30gb of storage
I was supposed to factory reset but I accidentally erased all by the same flash tool above,
And now SIM not working
I think the solution is to mount modem partition from recovery but the stock recovery doesn't have that option , so I installed TWRP recovery and also rooted according to this link
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/install-twrp-rooting-phab-plus-rooting-t3290347
But everytime I check to mount modem , TWRP returns to default after restarting.
TWRP at first said something about leaving system unmodified for official updates ,but actually I don't know how that could affect mounting.
Could you help me please to fix SIM problem
Thank you and sorry for the long message .

I know this is a bit old, but hear me out.
This device have a ton of country variant, once you flash a wrong one, it will never work even if you flashed your original modem image. I have this problem and I looked for places that might have modem images for my device which it worked and fixed my WiFi issues but not SIM cards. Just never flash the wrong one and take a backup always.

normal problem after multi rom install...
SOLUTION:
1. fastboot flash china dev rom
2. boot fully
3. fastboot recovery
4. do what u want
Doesn't work, i tried multiple times reflashing global stable/dev, china stable/dev, i tried persist and sensor_fix and imei restoration from QPST but no wifi, bt, signal...
The same issue with RR rom
Use miflash
Mi Flash didn't do anything, I tried 6-7 versions of Miui 9 (some of them is the first MIUI 9 Versions for mi note 3) I tried latest MIUI 10, China Dev, stable, global Dev and stable!!!
Hi !
Have exactly the same issue but on Mi6.
Imei, baseband, wifi mac was gone and after reflashing correct qcn got imei and baseband back , sim cards detected but no networks found also no wifi mac !
Actually I have the SAME issue on Mi Note 3
Update, i turned on the phone today because i wanted to show the problem on a friend and Bluetooth magically is working
Wifi and baseband is dead...
Hello again, anyone can help me? 6 months now my Mi Note 3 is unusable and i did not find a solution
Hello again, does anyone have any solution for that? I have a brick about a year now...
This procedure might fix problem but will clear whole memory
1 Backup from twrp only "persist" image and save it elsewhere (if you wish to try to restore your system later, then backup EVERY PARTITION and also save everything that's on internal memory elsewhere, IT WILL BE DELETED WITH PROCEDURE)
2 Install from twrp as zip this file: https://www.mediafire.com/file/pjqui3toyxgr5c8/sensorfix.zip/file
3 flash from fastboot WITHOUT LOCKING BACK BOOTLOADER every single version, FROM OLDER TO NEWER, of these roms in THIS ORDER:
FROM OLDER TO NEWER china developer
FROM OLDER TO NEWER china stable
FROM OLDER TO NEWER global stable
4 when flashed the latest rom, check if everything works
5 if it does, you're good to go! If you wish to install a custom rom just do like you normally do, but remember:
DON'T EVER WIPE "PERSIST" IN TWRP NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN!!!
6 (optional) if you want to try to recover your old system, normally install the same exact version of the rom you had before with a clean flashing, and then from twrp wipe cache, dalvik, data, system and internal storage and recover data and system, copy the old internal storage files inside internal storage and reboot

I can't guarantee, but mi6 should have the same hardware sensors as mi note 3. Just try to find the persist backup of mi6 for safety. Anyway, if you backup the whole system, it shouldn't be a problem if it doesn't work, you just format everything included persist, restore whole system from backup and look out for another solution. Practically, persist partition is where drivers of sensors are stored, if you formatted before, once you format it you'll be in the same situation as now
Thanks for reply !
Think tried most suggested solutions but havent done step by step upgrades. Might try that.
Last state the phone is I have recovered IMEI, baseband, wifi mac but its still "acting". Sometimes after reboot wifi mac is null, sometimes baseband is unknown, sim is detected but no network. Sometimes all seems to be ok but still no wifi and network.
Might try from here to do upgrades in order you mentioned
