Hello friends, first post here. I'm a total beginner and ****ed up my G930F and don't know how to fix it.
Here it is:
1 I have an stock s7,
2 installed twrp via odin but the system entered in a bootloop. just data and formated system, didnt choose any other option.
3 Gave up on the stock ROM. Copied the batman ROM into the internal memory with the phone in twrp.
4 Flashed twrp, everything working pretty fine, but IMEI gone.
5 I dont have efs backup. I Thought that if I did not touch EFS WIPE, i wouldnt have any problems.
Can you give me some help?
Thanks

If you are coming from Thé last Stock rom, you must flash the lastest bootloader and modem by using Odin.
You'll finde bt and modem in Ironman rom thread ?

Hi There,
So, I have a Samsung Galax S2 Telus SGH-T989D phone and I decided to root it using the 4.4 KitKat and it went well and everything was great.
However, afterwards to resolve some other issues I was having I decided to make the mistake of loading the gapps which was for another
package into my phone and that messed everything up!
So, I have been struggling with the phone and first it wouldn't let me install another ROM from recovery and kept on giving me error 7 and 6
But, I fixed that and now I can install any ROM from the recovery or Odin (download mode) without any errors.
However:
The phone vibrates , brings up the galaxy logo and then the Koodo logo appears and a bar fills up quickly under it but it never goes away!!!
Phone freezes there and that's that!! Even after taking out the battery I noticed the logo was still stuck on the screen where as normally
it goes blank!!
So, at this point I am not sure what else to do! This is annoying and I'm tired of experimenting. I went through some XDA foroums here and
tried the Super Vipe (taking out the battery has been tried, factory reset and wiping the cache all have been tried)
So, please please please help me out here. I used to have a MyTouch4G which I rooted with CyanogenMod back in the day and it's the most
stable thing ever and all I wanted to do was to perform the same thing on my Galaxy S2 and boom not this time!!!
Awaiting your response and thanks in advance

Thank you for your reply. However, as I've mentioned before, I've already tried those (from ODIN and through RECOVERY) with multiple different
ROMS and it's not doing anything which is why I am posting this here.

Did you perform a FULL wipe? Custom recovery -> format ALL partitions except EFS?
I have tried the Super Vipe off the SD card through the recovery mode and also from recovery I've tried the wipe cache,
factory reset and wipe cache partitions.
I am not sure about "format ALL partitions except EFS" nor am I aware of the procedure.
How would I perform that?
Have you installed a working custom recovery?

Yes I'm able to successfully install recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.7-hercules or CWM_Root_Superuser_3.1.3_Busybox_1.20.2
from the recovery without any errors (same if rooted through Odin)
If there's a specific ROM you are thinking about please let me know and I will be more than glad to give it a shot.
You really should use a newer recovery version. But for now go to mounts and storage and format all partitions except EFS. Then try flashing stock firmware via Odin
Here you can get the latest recovery for your device --> TWRP for hercules

Under mounts and storage and format all partitions except EFS > Don't even see ESF there to begin with..
Do you have a working link for downloading the stock firmware? I have downloaded few and none of them even let me install them (status 0 error)
Any ideas?
Odin is already being used v3.0.7

I was able to finally bring it up!!
Basically I looked for a stock firmware for T-Mobile and after formatting the phones multiple times I tried this ROM
using ODIN and it got rid of the Koodo logo and replaced it with a T-Mobile logo and then it BOOM loaded to start screen finally!!
I was about to hammer the phone. So, trust me I was very happy to see it work.
Thank you for your quick and helpful response :good:
Cheers :victory:
Please Help
I was in miui ROM then I tried flashing Metallium ROM, after I flashed it, it booted up but, it wasn't restoring my previous apps, so I skip that part, but then when I got to the home screen I wasn't able to access my stuffs in my phone memory.
So I thought maybe I need to change the data to f2fs, so I went to the recovery and did and flashed the Metallic ROM again, but this time it didn't boot at all, there was a bootloop and I could get past the start up screen.
I tried my older ROMs the one that I had, but it's all giving me the same response now, I have switch before but I never have had this problem. Please help, how do I flash other lollipop ROM again.
Maybe changing to f2fs and doing a factory reset. If that doesn't help, flash stock ROM via fastboot.

Yeah that might work but I'm kinda looking for a solution where I don't have to flash the stock again because I lost all my moto g stuffs some months back.
And another thing is that when I flash MIUI its working fine again and I'm able to access all the file in my phone storage also. Any suggestions?
Mmmm if you are using TWRP you could connect the phone to the PC and make a backup while you are in recover mode. Then format again data partition to f2fs and make a factory reset including internal storage and finally flash your ROM and restore your files.
But if that is not working then the only option is flashing Stock ROM
If MIUI is still booting it means that your data partition is still ext4
Sorry to bother you, but I have a little problem and I need your help.
I have Lenovo Phab Plus,
Recently flashed stock rom by QcomDloader
But after that system was taking about 30gb of storage
I was supposed to factory reset but I accidentally erased all by the same flash tool above,
And now SIM not working
I think the solution is to mount modem partition from recovery but the stock recovery doesn't have that option , so I installed TWRP recovery and also rooted according to this link
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/install-twrp-rooting-phab-plus-rooting-t3290347
But everytime I check to mount modem , TWRP returns to default after restarting.
TWRP at first said something about leaving system unmodified for official updates ,but actually I don't know how that could affect mounting.
Could you help me please to fix SIM problem
Thank you and sorry for the long message .

I know this is a bit old, but hear me out.
This device have a ton of country variant, once you flash a wrong one, it will never work even if you flashed your original modem image. I have this problem and I looked for places that might have modem images for my device which it worked and fixed my WiFi issues but not SIM cards. Just never flash the wrong one and take a backup always.

normal problem after multi rom install...
SOLUTION:
1. fastboot flash china dev rom
2. boot fully
3. fastboot recovery
4. do what u want
Doesn't work, i tried multiple times reflashing global stable/dev, china stable/dev, i tried persist and sensor_fix and imei restoration from QPST but no wifi, bt, signal...
The same issue with RR rom
Use miflash
Mi Flash didn't do anything, I tried 6-7 versions of Miui 9 (some of them is the first MIUI 9 Versions for mi note 3) I tried latest MIUI 10, China Dev, stable, global Dev and stable!!!
Hi !
Have exactly the same issue but on Mi6.
Imei, baseband, wifi mac was gone and after reflashing correct qcn got imei and baseband back , sim cards detected but no networks found also no wifi mac !
Actually I have the SAME issue on Mi Note 3
Update, i turned on the phone today because i wanted to show the problem on a friend and Bluetooth magically is working
Wifi and baseband is dead...
Hello again, anyone can help me? 6 months now my Mi Note 3 is unusable and i did not find a solution
Hello again, does anyone have any solution for that? I have a brick about a year now...
This procedure might fix problem but will clear whole memory
1 Backup from twrp only "persist" image and save it elsewhere (if you wish to try to restore your system later, then backup EVERY PARTITION and also save everything that's on internal memory elsewhere, IT WILL BE DELETED WITH PROCEDURE)
2 Install from twrp as zip this file: https://www.mediafire.com/file/pjqui3toyxgr5c8/sensorfix.zip/file
3 flash from fastboot WITHOUT LOCKING BACK BOOTLOADER every single version, FROM OLDER TO NEWER, of these roms in THIS ORDER:
FROM OLDER TO NEWER china developer
FROM OLDER TO NEWER china stable
FROM OLDER TO NEWER global stable
4 when flashed the latest rom, check if everything works
5 if it does, you're good to go! If you wish to install a custom rom just do like you normally do, but remember:
DON'T EVER WIPE "PERSIST" IN TWRP NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN!!!
6 (optional) if you want to try to recover your old system, normally install the same exact version of the rom you had before with a clean flashing, and then from twrp wipe cache, dalvik, data, system and internal storage and recover data and system, copy the old internal storage files inside internal storage and reboot

I can't guarantee, but mi6 should have the same hardware sensors as mi note 3. Just try to find the persist backup of mi6 for safety. Anyway, if you backup the whole system, it shouldn't be a problem if it doesn't work, you just format everything included persist, restore whole system from backup and look out for another solution. Practically, persist partition is where drivers of sensors are stored, if you formatted before, once you format it you'll be in the same situation as now
Thanks for reply !
Think tried most suggested solutions but havent done step by step upgrades. Might try that.
Last state the phone is I have recovered IMEI, baseband, wifi mac but its still "acting". Sometimes after reboot wifi mac is null, sometimes baseband is unknown, sim is detected but no network. Sometimes all seems to be ok but still no wifi and network.
Might try from here to do upgrades in order you mentioned
Hello everyone,
I just tried to install the Android 10 Update for OP6 but..
I went to the TWRP recovery with twrp image and rom on internal storage and I firstly wiped and then installed the stock rom.
But after that I told myself let's do a proper wipe and wiped everything except "vendor" without flashing twrp recovery...
The point is that I'm now without OS and without TWRP which is very problematic.
If anyone can help he would save my life.
Thanks.
Follow the instructions in this thread. Worked for me when I did the same thing as you a few months ago.
