[ROM][6.0.1][UNOFFICIAL] CyanogenMod 13 - Xiaomi Mi 4i

CyanogenMod 13 is a free, community built distribution of Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) which greatly extends the capabilities of your phone.
Code:
I'm not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war,
or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please do some research if you have
any concerns about features included in the products you find here before flashing it!
YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for
messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
I see that some people still wanted to use CM, so I'm continuing what was left of the CyanogenMod projects.

Wait, by any chance you guys dirty flashed this over a previous rom with wiping everything including userdata? I think it might be that or a kernel thing.

Those patches were for miui.. Because I was doing research, and found that there happens to be this kind of problems reported from other users but for other phones. They said it was because either they didn't wipe userdata or because of kernel problems.

I think I found the problem, some more research suggests that it might be a gapps problem. Did you guys flashed gapps while installing? If yes, could you try again but this time don't flash gapps?

How to flash CM update?

Hi, there is an update available for CM13 and I don't know how to install it. I've heard I need to flash it using a custom recovery (I use TWRP) but do I also need to clear the dalvik and cache? Will this uninstall my apps?
The first thing that you need to do is download latest build and Gapps then for optimal performance wipe everything (caches, system, data).
After that put these files in your sdcard then boot into TWRP and then install it zip as usual.

U have to download latest ROM via CM updater and click "apply update" or something like that (my phone is on german so I don't know how it's named on other languages). Then your phone automatically restarts into recovery, performs all the steps automatically and also reboots automatically.
I always do dirty updates and never faced any issues!

No, its just how to install CM13 on Android 5 and how to upgrade from CM12.1 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/mot...fiicial-cyanogenmod-13-moto-g-t3229272/page56) and the thread is closed so I can't ask him.

I would prefer a clean install (download ROM and GAPPS; reboot into recovery; wipe data, system, cache and dalvik cache; flash ROM and GAPPS; reboot)! On this way u will "lose" your apps but userdata (e. g. photos) is still there!

Do the described above without wiping data (but that could fail). But remember: You're coming from another ROM so wiping data is recommended!

XT1039 bootloop after flashing CM13

Hi,
XT1039: bootloader unlocked, rooted, stock rom 4.4.4
TO: nightly
Flashed 4118 bootloader, as detailed in http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto...tions-t2996087
It was successful.
Followed https://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Install_CM_for_peregrine
unlocked bootloader
installed cm-recovery from here: https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?type=nightly&device=peregrine
tried to flash cm, got a bootloader error,
followed this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=59520890&postcount=233
Now using bootloader 411A
flashed cm-13.0-20160121-NIGHTLY-peregrine.zip
from here: https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?type=nightly&device=peregrine
now the phone is stuck at the boot screen.
So I flashed twrp recovery, successful and reflashed cm-13.0-20160121-NIGHTLY-peregrine.zip
I tried several different guides that included all sorts of cache deletion and format orders but the result is still the same
(I am not using an sdcard but only the internal storage.)
After rebooting, the phone is stuck on the Cyanogenmod boot icon (blinking cat face) since past half hour.
Please guide how to debug/recover.
fastboot and recovery are working
Thanks,
[edit:]
The cm-13.0-20160121-NIGHTLY-peregrine.zip was transferred by mounting the internal storage on the PC and copying it manually. Just in case this matters

Thanks for the reply, but the goal is to get cyanogenmod on my phone. How does the stock rom help me with that??
Just for testing, I have installed the stock rom to see if it works and it does. I now have a Motorola Android 5.1 on my phone. But thats not what I wanted.
Anyone having any idea how to make cyanogenmod work?

Just to restoring a kernel on it...after restoring one, go to TWRP, make your wipes and flash again your CM

WOW Thank you very much, its working
Maybe you can also explain to my why installing the custom rom mattered, since I wiped everything before installing cm again, I would assume there is nothing of the stock rom left on the device.

Not really able to explain...sometimes sh*t happens...
But this procedure works almost every time.
Surely due to your bootloader error after your first flash with CM recovery...something was broken...
Most important, now, it's working...Enjoy
I install cm but google play is not working and sallular data also not working.. Plz any one help me please..

Dear,

Cheers for the effort, but I can't get the rom to boot on my g906s. When I tried to flash the rom, everything seemed fine in TWRP. But, when I flashed the patch right after, TWRP threw a status 7 error. I pulled the battery and wiped art, cache, system, and data. Then, I flashed the rom again to see if it would boot without the patch. My phone bootlooped (as I expected). I pulled the battery again and flashed the patch. This time the patch installed without TWRP error, but my phone just bootlooped on reboot. Just in case, I wiped art and cache, but my phone still just boots to the Samsung label, then reboots - rinse and repeat.
I'm going to let my phone cool down and go back to plain stock.

Thanks for your kind word. I will be checking the patch again by myself.
Did you flashed callmesuper TWRP before by any chance because he used old 5.0 bootloader if not then I will checking it out.
If you get error in TWRP just reboot recovery and try to flash again.
I will upload Bootloaders and Modems if anyone needs it.

I checked the Patch by myself and saw status 7 error.
What I can advise is the following as you said you flashed Kykint TWRP only so no problems in bootloader.
Now, same procedure but after flashing rom,, Reboot recovery and then flash patch.. Also wipe Cache, Dalvic..
Unfortunately I have G906L and cant test if K/S will boot but it should.
Note: The phone will reboot it self twice after flashing rom due to supersu just be patient.

I tried what you suggested, and the phone kept bootlooping. I'm back on stock with all its 320+ apps, which I managed to debloat to 180 or so. Wish I could have taken a log in TWRP but I had to yank the battery so I could reflash stock with odin. (TWRP may be at fault and not the patch, but I lack the skills to dig deeper.)
A bit off-topic, after I flashed stock through odin, supersu and busybox apps still appeared in my apps drawer - though not working - and the first menu upon boot popped up in Dutch. Anyway, thanks for your efforts; hopefully, others have better luck and/or more constructive feedback.

Problem noted and Patch fixed and being uploaded.
About off-topic, you need to reboot to recovery if using stock recovery and perform factory reset but beware all internal storage will be wiped.
Note: You dont need to remove battery always just use power button + volume down

The Screenshot is below. I got stuck in the H2OS 2.0 so I flash the cos12 to save it from bricking. Then I flash the TWRP. When I wanted to flash a CM13,the problem in the screenshot occurred. Need some Help here.
Help,PLZ
I don't have another phone.I gotta fix this as soon as possible in case I don't miss any important phone calls. plz. Somebody gives me a hand.
The problem is that you're not installing the TWRP flashable rom.
See that the zip file of the CM13 build you tried to install is called cm13......bacon-signed-fastboot......zip. So you're trying to install a fastboot rom with a custom recovery, instead of trying to install a custom rom for a custom recovery. That's why TWRP doesn't found any meta-inf folder.
When downloading the rom in the official web be sure to download the one compatible with custom recoveries.

Okay,Thanks. But when I tried another ROM (NucleaRom-V2.1.4-BETA[7.0]-bacon-20161011-0245.zip) ,I failed again. It occurred error 7. The TWRP is universal in many ROMs,right?I used to installed many with it successfully. However, I failed again and again this time.

The 7 error use to happen when you get a bad download and there is missing data. You can compare the md5 of the rom to check if there are missing data or simply download it again, or try another rom.
Also i suggest you to use the latest TugaPower TWRP.

Actually,I'm using the latest TeamWin - TWRP. Here is the screenshot. I downloaded the cm13 official but it didn't work too. Could you give a guide to get a Tugapower TWRP? Maybe it will work with the TugaPower TWRP.

Did you do wipes (system, data, cache and dalvik cache) before flashing the roms?

yea,of course. This problem began at my last ROM(H2OS V2.0.1). Is it the main reason? Before that ROM ,everything goes well.

Well, honestly i don't know.
I would suggest you to check if the files you have downloaded are not corrupted in case the computer where you're downloading the roms is corrupt them, i experienced that case. So you can check md5 following this guide: http://forums.androidcentral.com/optimus-v-rooting-roms-hacks/113984-what-md5-how-use-verify-your-download.html
And the TWRP i suggested you is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/development/unofficial-twrp-3-0-x-tugapower-t3398366. You can install it though fastboot or try with the current recovery you have.

[ROM] MoKee [71.2] OFFICIAL HIMAUL[5-01-17]

Hello Guys i recently i found an official supported rom for hima ul on mokee webiste would like to share it here. The rom is based on android 7.1.2 It is fully stable and can be used as a daily driver
UPDATE: 2017-5-1
Rom has been updated to nougat
Download
IF YOU HAVE STATUS 6 OR 7 ERROR IN TWRP NOTE: open the downloaded rom zip and open the following file located in
x.zip/META-INF/com/google/android/update-script
and remove the following line to avoid errors in TWRP
"Assert(hima.verify_sbl1("1.2.50.1.36") == "1");"
happy flashing :good:
I tried this rom and loved it. But after some weeks my phone only show black screen and does not reboot. Don't know if mokee causes the failure. Or if it was a hardware issue. I think the second.
I got a brandnew m9 phone and use another nougat rom.
And yes. Mokee 60.1 is Android 6 and cam works.

Nice that here on XDA is a mokee thread in m9 section. The rom deserves its own thread.

I was using it,not now,so i can not help u at the momment... U have it all,and all the rest info about the rom on their G+ page...
Same here. I used it some time ago. So I cannot show screenshots.
Give it a try. Make a nandroid backup before, so you can switch back easily, if you don't like mokee.
Advice for you: I had to make changes in updater script before flashing. Without that, twrp gets error by me. Look in Slim7 Rom thread. There is described how to change updater script. You have to delete some words in it.

please tell in detail which changes you made so i can update OP
You have to try. Perhaps you must not change anything.
Some users have to make changes.
The updater-script is located in /META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script. Look at Slim7 Thread here on xda. There are posting to that.
I did not had to add or remove anything to flash this rom, think it is not for all phone models like that,do some research about it before u post to op...
can anybody share the screenshots of this rom ??
Alright so I tried flashing this ROM without modifying the zip and got the ERROR 7 message. I removed the line mentioned in the first post and still cannot get the ROM to install, same error. Any ideas? My model is himauhl

I was in recovery when I wiped everything, tried flashing the ROM which didn't work, then rebooted back into recovery. I thought that was self explanatory

I'm running the LeeDroid Marshmallow ROM, the exact firmware version I'm not sure of but I can probably find out from the ROM thread if necessary. Android version is 6.0
