Hi there,
Kindly help... I successfully installed B512 on my TL10 using force upgrade method, afterwhich I changed recovery to TWRP 3.0.2 using mobopx v2.2, which was also successful. And then I installed SuperSU 2.46 via TWRP, then cleared cache/dalvik. But upon rebooting system, I get a blank screen, even after waiting for more than 15 minutes.
And so I tried going to TWRP (Vol+ and power), which was successful, in order to boot to bootloader, with the intention of loading back the stock bootloader via adb, so that I can force install B512 from my microSD card again. It seemed to install fine...
However, at this point, I cannot reboot to bootloader (Vol- and power) anymore, I only get blank screen. Trying recovery (Vol+ and power) doesn't work either. Rebooting normally gives me the same. I cannot by any means connect via adb now.
Is there any way to unbrick my phone at this point?
Thanks so much. Cheers.

What happens when you do a Vol up + power?

The phone "doesn't want to turn off" bro. It has fully discharged, but as soon as I plug the charger in, it immediately powers up. When it does, now it shows the Huawei logo. But it's stuck there, and if I press the power button for a few secs, it will power down, but immediately power up again...

Let it get fully charged first. Then remove the charger and keep the Vol up and power button pressed for ~10 secs or more, and see where it takes you.

Done bro. Although I must say, I'm kinda back like yesterday when the phone is just helplessly discharging until it drops dead. Pressing vol+ and power restarts the phone, but I'm still stuck at the logo...

You seem to be in a sticky situation bro. Your recovery seems to be broken because in stock recovery Vol up + power should ideally take you to recovery and not restart. If you could somehow boot into fastboot mode then it could open up some options to bring your phone to life.
With no way to connect to the phone the only options left are the hardware buttons. I am sure you'd have tried them already, but just in case you have not, try the other 2 key combinations also, Vol down + power and Vol up + Volume down + power, for ~10 secs, to check if any of these either forces a factory reset or boots the phone into fastboot mode.

Yes, I did. And I can't even boot to bootloader after all that... The phone only seems to charge, but is stuck at the logo.

Thanks bro, but that's what I did, or at least was planning to do. After rooting B512 via TWRP, the phone got stuck at the logo. And so I tried to install stock recovery, which it did, in order to reflash the stock ROM. But at this point I'm still stuck at the logo, and I can't access recovery and BL anymore. The BL is unlocked right from the start...

Thank you for this suggestion brother. I tried exactly as you described, however, the phone looks badly discharged, and while the screen was blinking/showing the red battery icon, it doesn't seem to want to charge. I waited around 5 minutes, but nothing seems to progress from here.
And so now, I moved the USB cable to a proper charger, and now it seems to be charging, with the LED light a steady red, and the screen the normal red circle with "0%" inside. It seems to be charging at the moment, although I really have to wait until it shows "1%" until I can surely say so.
One thing that's different now is that the phone hasn't turned on (by itself) yet. And at least this looks promising.
I'll let you know what happens in a while... Thank you!

So, been running CM10 for a long time on tab. Decided to go back to stock, and downloaded the JB stock rom. Flashed via ODIN. Everything seemed to go OK, except that after the flash the screen went black for ages, and didn't reboot. So I hard powered it off. Probably what did it, but it wasn't going anywhere for about 15 minutes, so figured it was the next step.
Now, I get the battery charging icon. The system goes through the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 white logo, the swirling then glowing Samsung logo, and then loops through that forever.
It wouldn't be such a problem if I could back into ODIN and do another flash, but I can't get into download mode (normally I do it via adb but that isn't working since there is no USB connection at all). Tried all combinations, power/up, power/down etc. It just boot loops as above. I'm pretty sure I bricked it, but just wanted some confirmation.
Been doing this on and off for a long time, and it's the first time I've ever got stuck like this.
Thanks in advance.
Plug USB charger, your device will boot into charge mode. From charge mode you can boot into recovery by keep holding VOLUME UP button and than press POWER button. Clear data and cache in recovery, reboot.

Thanks, but I tried all combinations of Power/Volume UP and Power/Volume DOWN, it just goes through a normal boot cycle until it starts looping.
I guess it's possible I'm not using the right timing. I'm assuming that you hold Volume UP or DOWN and then press and hold Power until the screen goes black, and then release? I've done it like that many times, and also continued to hold everything down as the logo appears, and then system goes back to the battery charging icon as if it powers off again. I sound like such a noob when I type stuff like that!
I saw ODIN successfully write system.img, boot.img, and recovery.img, so I'm thinking any CWM recovery I had on there is toast.

P.S. Welcome to the forum!
it sounds strange. never heard of such a strange boot problem. anyway it could be that while transferring boot.img it became damaged due to some error. i know you probably tryed but you may try and connect it to linux or mac os x in order to check if you could retrive more data about the tab. for example the mac could find if it is totally corrupted. normally when i plug my samsung devices it ask me to add the samsung-modem also if they are turned off. meybe if it happens the same to you you can try to adb fastboot it also if i doubt myself about it working, but give it a shot
i hope my bad english is not preventing you to understand what i'm saying!

Gee so sorry. I thought you have custom recovery like cwm or twrp. Apparently you still have stock recovery there. So i guess you need to download the stock image for your Xoom and, yes you are correct, flash them from fastboot then. Long long time ago, i ever did this but i dont really remember all things. But all i know is that I followed steps from here http://androidforums.com/xoom-all-things-root/653230-return-your-xoom-stock.html. Your advice was definitely the solution, but I did not get to do anything because my Xoom is stuck in black screen and cannot power it on
I do not know the cause. It's incredible what happens !
Suddenly started to reboot itself, then stopped completely. It was only connected to the original charger and USB, ready for install drivers and flash.
The power led is ok (white and green, after few minutes) I removed the battery, the voltage is correct, and nothing ...
Do you have any idea?

No, before, when my tablet was with my initial problem (Won't turn OFF and stuck on M logo).
Suddenly it started to reboot itself and stuck each time at M logo, then stopped completely, after 4-5 cycles.
During this time, I followed the steps in this link till the point 6 (reboot your computer, plug in your Xoom and allow the drivers to install), with WiFi Xoom Restore downloaded files.
Black screen, no fastboot, no android recovery, nothing, just a green light when charging with original wall charger (SPN5632B)

With Original Motorola Wall Charger SPN5632B, no long time because my tablet was almost always connected to the charger.
The battery has 8 volts and charger 12 volts.
If I disconnect the charger and hook it back, the white light stay bright about 10 minutes, then turns green.

From what I remember, last days when charging, the Xoom jacks area was warm, now is cold. Maybe it is normal to be cold if the tablet is fully charged now, I don`t know exactly if this is a good indication for helping me...

Hi,
really need help...I was about to sold my old HTC Sensation XE, rooted and had viper 5.2.1 on it - deleted everything from SD card, but wanted to be sure nothing remained on my phone so I made factory reset (i think I shouldn't to this)..
Now when I turn phone On it loads HTC logo, then Viper logo and restarts and then again HTC, Viper restart...
When I hold power button + vol.down nothing happens (HTC->Viper and restart) + all the buttons are flashing...
Did I bricked my phone for good or is there a way how to reflash everything?
Thanks

U must be doing it wrong or ur volume button is dodgy. Ur phone being in a bootloop should not affect getting into bootloader once uv pulled the battery.

why are bottom buttons flashing while holding power + vol down?

I dunno, mine does that if im in a bootloop n i try a hard reset. Dont worry. The vol button mite work but she mite just need to give it an extra push, no harm in cleaning it coz the sensations r bad for dust getting in there. K pull the battery out for a min n put back in then press and hold vol down (hard) and press n hold power button. U should get to bootloader, keep trying till u do. As long as u pull the battery out u should get there at some point.
Sometimes I also have to pull the battery out twice to make it go into bootloader. Just make sure you have enough charge in the battery too.
no luck... tried it around 20 times and nothing... communication via fastboot is not working..
so I guess there is no other way how to enter recovery as vol down and power

Hello,
I downgraded my Honor 8 via Rollback and installed the Rom FRD-L09C432B131.
But my phone is stuck on the blue Android startup screen.
I can not use the Volume +, Volume - or Power buttons.
All I can do is let it turn off by itself when the battery is at 0%.
When I put it on, it turns on by itself. Arrives on a blue screen. Reboot once and then stays eternally on the blue screen while heating up enormously.
I have no access to the Recovery, erecovery or via the computer (by plugging it into a USB port).
Thanks

If I put on USB or mains, it recharges and restarts automatically. And I can not stop it ...
When I plug it into a USB port, the Power, Volume + or Volume buttons are ineffective.
And when it's plugged into the PC, it does not show up!
So I do not have access ... except perhaps by a software that would force the connection ... or a manipulation other than Power / Volume ..
When I say reboots, it is a program to display the Android blue screen and hangs on it!
does it say android or honor?
going to dload is kinda tricky sometimes and should be done when connected to wall adapter, not pc
can you keep vol- and power pressed while your phone is connected to pc. keep them pressed even after the phone restarts. dont let go. it might take some time. does it go to fastboot?

He can't even boot to recovery.

Ohhh, sorry my bad
dats prolly because he has mismatched files for the os he's running. he should deffo check if he can go to fastboot. the fact that he cant go to dload doesnt really mean anything because i cant do it either 40% of the time. its a bit iffy. the fact remains, if it boots to honor logo, means some type of os is up there. if he can go to fastboot he can flash stock recovery/recovery2 and try dload again. without proper recovery combo he wont be able to flash anything anyways and warranty prolly wont cover it since its users fault, esp if he has unlocked warning.

Thank you
Similar to me, only way is go into bootloader mode, then charge the phone for awhile, you cant do nothing cuz of 0% battery, flash stock recovery, update via dload or direct wifi recovery.

He can't go to fastboot
if he completely bricked it, he'd be stuck at black screen/android logo, not honor logo. either he's not telling us everything (ran out of juice while upgrading / error while flashing / flashing wrong rom), there is no chance all key partitions got wiped if the process finished successfully. meaning at least he should be able to fastboot cause thats the first thing flashing alongside bootloader. no way any type of system partition is up there, and bl/fb is not, even if they are from a different OS. h8 can be stubborn at times, but keeping the cable in pc and holding vol_down+power for good 20s deffo will force it to at least reboot. thats the only way. if this doesnt work, you should take it to a service center.
I guess it's better if he takes it to the service center
Nothing works. So I have to send it to the service center
Thank you all !

connect to computer while doing and it works
You can boot into recovery without having to plug into a computer by holding power + volume up, and then once you get to the "this device is unlocked, press power key to continue" screen, rather than just waiting for that screen to disappear, press the power key and then you should be taken to recovery... at least, that's how I was able to do it

Ah gotcha, that makes sense, I've never been able to get recovery booting via power + volume up, until I randomly tried pressing the power button at the device unlocked screen, and for some reason doing that took me into recovery

What is the unlocked screen? Never saw this
Are you powering off your phone first? If so wait a few seconds after then hold down both power + volume up buttons at the same time and hold for 10 seconds. It still works for me doing it this way.

This works like a charm. I was about to give up my phone because of this predicament, I didn't want to have any issues restoring my phone in the future in case. THANKS A BUNCH!
It's kinda strange but it is bootloader issue. I am on BTK3 firmware (latest Android 10 release) and i'm experiencing such misbehave of key-kombo to enter ot recovery mode since September or October FW update. Has jus tried to downgrade bootloader to initial firmaware (ATGM) by flashing BL in odin and now i can enter recovery by only pressing vol-up + bixby. It work always. Cables, headphones... nothing needed. just keys-combo.
Then i tried to update BL to latest Android 10 (BTK3) and again recovery mode doesn't work. Only if N9860 connected to PC by cable and even with that it doesn't work for me 10 out of 10 times.
Can someone text/call Samsung support to report this issue ?
BTW thanks to @Mentalmuso for helping me!
Same things happen to Android 11.
Tried to flash on my N9860 old BL over Android 11 firmware (was installed before that, all files AP, BL, CP, CSC), flash was ok, but system was unable to load. constantly bootloops. but i was able again to enter recovery without cable and etc. Tried to wipe cache and factory reset from default recovery but no luck - bootloop.
I thought that game over and old BL is not compatible with new android 11.
But then i wanted to try do the same but with custom binaries (@Mentalmuso TWRP and kernel) and ta-da - system loaded from the first try. For me it's surprise. Now i have Android 11 latest FW for TGY (CUA3) with initial BL from the box (ATGM) and everything looks like working fine. No error in OS, no random reboots (at least after 30 minutes of test) and recovery can be simply loaded only by key combo, without any cables, headphones and PC.
I'm happy now =)
Strange thing is that after fladhing old BL system did not show error message that vbmeta changed and some error in vbmeta header. It was showed always on Android 10. But i flashed twrp again (it has vbmeta inside .zip) to be safe lol.
