There's a YouTube video available for that but it's going to require you to heat up the back in order to get the glue to loosen up so you can remove it.

Not the whole back, just the camera glass. I did find a video for it and was able to order the piece.

Did you make sure the glass was clear before putting it in? If it is then I think the camera itself got messed up. Or try removing the glass again and see if it's blurry without it too because then you'll really know if the camera is messed up.

It seems like it's clearing itself up. Strangely. As if it needed to refocus or something. Not as blurry now. I'll see how it is in the morning.

Rattle around the camera area.

I've only had my Ace 2 for about a week now but I've noticed if you turn the phone over and tap around the camera area, their is a rattling noise heard.
Is this normal? What causes it?
Cheers

It's not a software issue mate. Literally hold the phone in your hand and tap with your finger around the camera lense and their is a sort of rattling noise.
I dont hear anything.

I can hear it if I tap quite hard just above the camera. Also the phone has to be in your hand and not on a hard surface.
i have it but under the flash

I have it under the flash to but not as much. Would be interested if anyone else has this to.
Odp: Rattle around the camera area.
I think it's the back cover of our device. It's all about friction between plastic and camera.

Odp: Rattle around the camera area.
Yes, under the Led. But i'm sure it's the plastic, take a look under the case. There is quite big gap between led and camera, and this cause noise.

Do you get any rattle at all if you tap above the camera lense, just under the 3.5mm slot?

Hmm weird, not sure why mine does this then. It's literally just above the camera lense, tap it over and over with quiet a bit of pressure and it rattles.

Ok so I've looked around on lots of other websites and lots of different types of phone report this issue and apparently it's normal.
Your guys phone is probably rattling when you tap it near the camera but maybe you're just not noticing it like I do...
Ok I've discovered something else and I think this is to do with the camera.
Open the camera, set the auto focus, tap the back of the phone near the camera when the auto focus is locked and you'll hear it rattle even louder.
This must be something to do with the camera/auto focus and from looking at Google it appears to be normal, but can anyone else confirm this please?
Thanks
I think that it is Accelerometer sensor

anyone else?
If it happens when the camra is focusing, I would expect it to be the noise a digital camera makes when it focusses. It happens when you tap the phone because the camera would need to focus again...
... I don't think the Ace II is for you. May I suggest a Nokia 1100?...

It also happens when the camera isn't on though.

Ummm.. The front facing camera?

Is it supposed to or us it just mine but does it flip the picture left-right? What you see on the screen compared to what the saved picture is is opposite sides

That's normal in android. It's so it is like a mirror instead of what teh camera sees so it's easier to adjust an ugly face like you would in the mirror.
Lol. I thought it may have just screwed up as I've never actually tried it before

Bricked Hardware issue?

Today I booted up my tf101 and the screen stayed black then flickered blue lines across the top. I tried hard reset, no dice, tried to boot into twrp (I was running katkiss 4.4 fine for weeks), and the screen flickered blurry images, nothing. Tried to push stock software with easy flasher, looks like it works, but same issue when I turn the tablet back on. Weird thing is my pc still sees my tablet and ext sd files. Anyone have any ideas? My son is not a happy camper at the moment.

Is there a chance it has been knocked or dropped ?
The display cable has a habit of coming lose pretty easily if they receive a bump but are fairly simple to fix if you don't mind opening it
Have a look at the links in this thread to check that cable

Thanks man, I bet that's what it is. I don't have a n5 bit to pull it apart, I'll have to stop at the hardware store tomorrow.

Good luck!
I think I just used a normal pozzy screwdriver with mine, get one the right size with a little extra pressure and they turn ok - its only the first 2 screws near the charging port that are Torx, the rest inside are all tiny phillips

Great :good:

Sounds like a loose part inside?

Whenever I hold my phone upright and tap toward the top of the screen (even very lightly), the phone makes a weird clicking sound coming from inside. It sounds to me like the small vibrating spinning part that makes the phone vibrate. I don't know if it's just my model of the device of if this is normal but it's very annoying and noticeable. Also, if I shake the phone even a little I can hear the clicky sound. Not sure if I should take it back and replace it but I wanted to see if anyone else had this problem first?
I have this. Just notice it now. Can hear it from shaking the top of the phone back and forth

Honestly guys, this sound has always been in HTC and Samsung devices that I've had, and to be honest I didn't hear it in my S4,ehich was Prolly the first device in a while where I wouldn't hear a rattle. Someone mentioned a long time ago that's its the part for the vibration/haptic but I don't see how that could be. But yes, I hear it too, and have no clue what the hell it is lol

Haha, holy cap, it really is the AutoFocus Sensor. Opening the camera, then tapping the phone, no rattle.
That's awesome, all this time, I had no idea. Appreciate the link

Interesting...so its the camera sensor
and when your camera is on, the noise goes away
Well that is disappointing. Guess I'm going to have to try and get used to it. Thanks for the info.

How is this dissapointing? I never even noticed this till I came across this thread
How much could you possibly be shaking your phone for this to be a problem?

Like I said, any time I even lightly tap the top area of the phone it makes that sound. I wouldn't mind personally if it's just when I shake the phone.
Lmao! Now I can't stop shaking my phone. Just noticed the noise because of this thread.

Well my first Note 5 screen died on me.

Phone worked perfect, I got it Monday. Friday at my desk at the office, I took 3 pics. A minute later the screen wouldn't turn on. It flickered green first then original color in less than one second. It's like the board went bad on the screen already. Touch input worked.
I have a new one now.

That also happened to mine, but it was caused by the spen being broken inside the phone.

Interesting, what part of the pen. I didn't check the pen since I couldn't use the phone
Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk
It actually split the pen in the center, but may or may not have damaged the circuit board. My screen went haywire. Flashing green whenever I woke it up.

Correct, I pulled the pen out after it was freaking out, and half of it stayed inside the slot. Once I removed the final piece inside the phone, it still freaked out. I removed service and went back to my note 2, then an hour later, my note 5 was fine, using it now(minus the spen, cant really wait on Samsung warranty claim at the moment,) although I'm pretty sure they would somehow tell me the spen breaking inside the phone was my fault.
