Switch Off your phone,
Hold power+Volume Down button for 4-5 seconds, automatically you'll get DOS type screen
There you will get eMMC & RAM details on DOS or say Bootloader screen,
Use Vol button again to go POWER OFF option, then press Power button to select,
Phone will shutdown again, do normal start from Power button again.

(Q)How to exit from "Andr. sys. recovery<3e>"?

I have a Cappy with Froyo 2.2 and faulty Power button, somehow I've managed to get it in "Android system recovery<3e>", but with non-functional Power button I can't get it out of this state. Any ideas?
Connecting it to USB, now, does nothing, but it worked before getting here.
Try using the phones capacitive buttons in recovery. Menu = Down, Home = Up, Back arrow = Back, Search = Select

1) Remove the battery.
2) Hold Vol +/- buttons
3) Put battery back
You should now be in Download mode, Remove battery, Put it back and don't touch any buttons.
If not try this other method

2) Plug the usb cable
3) Hold Vol +/-
4) Put battery back in

Unfortunately I'm still there: Android system recovery<3e> with 5 options:
reboot sys now;
reinstall packages;
delete all user data;
delete cache data;
format internal sd-card.
No possibility to select one of these with a broken Power button...

And if you hold "Vol - " only when putting the battery back in ? Other then that opening the phone to correct the issue sounds like your last chance. Look around here and Q&A and you should find more details on it your not the only one facing this issue.
I am guessing you have tried the reboot system now option, when i plug my cappy into a car charger it aways turns on rather than just charge if you can figure out what type of device would cause the behavior you can try that?
Thanks everybody for your good willing, I've managed to exit and root this Cappy...
But as final conclusion my Power button is definitely broken, I have to replace it...

[Q] Fake Galaxy Note 2 not loading

Hi guys,
I've got a replica of a Galaxy Note 2 5 months ago. It worked alright till today, when I turned it off to replace the battery and it never loaded back.
It's rooted. When I try to enter recovery mode, only the dead droid with the red triangle appears.
I've changed the battery again. Waited for a long time, but it never passes the samsung logo.
Can someone help me with it?

So the problem is caused by the battery change? It never happened before. Anyway, thanks for trying to help. Unfortunately, when i'm on that screen with the red triangle, nothing happens. I've tried lots of combinations of the hard buttons, but no menu appears. Is there an specific order of pressing, or time? Can you give me detailed information on the process?

Well, no success. I turn on the phone holding v up + power. It starts with a "recovery msg" below. Then it enters the screen with the red triangle. On that screen, nothing happens. I did as you told, and tried the following combinations: v up + power, v down + power, v up + home + power, and v down + home + power, for 20 seconds each try, and still, the same screen, no menu, no msg.
I have to mention again that it's a fake galaxy note 2, not a real samsung one.
Any other directions?

HY,the recovery that you went in was the stock, you said that you are rooted, and i assume you also have a custom recovery, where you flash roms, kernells, etc.I suggest that you should press v up +power+home, and release all 3 when the device model appears(galaxy note 2),if you can reach that make a backup of the device, and after you did it delete cache, dalvik from recovery and restore he backup.

Well, I remember using only a windows software to root. "Super One Click" if I'm not mistaken. The process was really simple, and i didn't do anything other then some clicks to root. No rom, kernell, backup or other stuff. It was simple, so that's why I did it.
About the phone, releasing the buttons still takes me to the red triangle screen. Using the v down instead of v up takes me to factory menu. The volume buttons only navigate through the options, but nothing selects them.

Well, as I told the post before, nothing selects any of the options on factory mode. Volume just navigates, and that's it. Power or home don't do a thing. I don't have a "fastboot" option on the menu either. I'm starting to give up. Any more ideas?
Just one advice, dont buy fake phone

[Q] I brick my nexus, need help

Hello everyone.
Yesterday I tried to flash my nexus to f2fs. After that I wanted to go back to the stock, but forgot format filesystem to ext4 and run flash_all.bat.
Flashing was stopped on system write with error: "Unknown chunk type". After that i can't open recovery or turn on phone.
On 4pda i read, that bootloader reopen can help fix this problem.
When I flash new boot, nexus was died.
Can you help me?
Hi,
Please provide a link to exactly what you've flashed? Can you access the bootloader?
i flash google original rom
no, i haven't access to bootloader

you need to put your device in fastboot mode, keep retrying
then to go back to EXT4 :
- Flash back an official custom recovery (CWM or TWRP)
- Format Data from recovery
- Flash a kernel compatible with your ROM
- Reboot.

What happens when you hold down Power + Vol down keys together? Hold them until you feel a vibration. May be the battery has died? Keep it on charge for an hour and then try to enter bootloader?

If all the key combinations don't work, them your device is done for! Since it's totally dead there shouldn't be any problem to RMA it! Good Luck

Press and hold volume up while you connect usb cable to pc.
can you see download mode on device screen?
if yes read this thread entirely http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2515760
Edit: try this also:
connect your phone to the pc, open device manager.
hold your power button until QHSUSB_BULK disappears, then in that split second press and hold both volume key while you still press the power key. it may end up into the second bootloader
thank you all!

Can the nexus 5 turn on without a power button?

I have access to the phone for now, but I'm worried if it ever dies, I won't be able to boot because the power button is shot.
Is there any way to boot my phone from it being in a completely shut off state? Thanks.

@Niflheimer is wrong. If you want to boot without a power button simply hold down the "volume down" button. and plug your phone into a power source. It will go straight into fastboot mode. You will need android SDK installed on your computer here, then load your nexus 5 into fastboot mode (like mentioned previously) and type "fastboot reboot" you device will power on.
no power button needed
Sorry , I thought he meant without external devices.

you don't need the power button, just boot into fastboot as said above and, if you got fastboot working on your pc, send "fastboot reboot" and it will boot into the system

You didn't write anything about the device.
Usually, pressing the power button for a long time turns the device off. Turning it on again starts the system.
Is this what you meant?

Oh sorry my device is A1 Alpha 20+ (ZTE Blade v2020) and my power button is not working (same with volume up)
There's two things that put something in recovery.
BCB and misc.
The misc partition can use the characters right at the start of the partiton "reboot-recovery".
Normally recovery erases that again.
The BCB is more squirrely. I don't know where they park that on my own device, let alone yours.
In any case, check the misc partition.
I have a Hyundai tablet. It locked. Is there a way to unlock it?
i fixed it!
waited for phones battery to run out and charged the phone after
