can someone please help - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S6

I am wanting to root my s6. I have a Verizon galaxy s6 sm-g920v build number MMB29K.G920VVRU4CPC2 so i have the updated 6.0.1 marshmallow. Are therenjoying any available methods to root? I've read verizon Is really rough. I don't know where to properly look and was just wandering if someone could help me and save me some time and point me in the right direction. Thank you

No root available at this time. Wouldn't hold my breath waiting for a method. Verizon phones are locked down pretty tight.

[Q] can i get my verizon s3 to work on cricket

I am trying to help a friend of mine get his verizon s3 to work on cricket. I have a tmibile s3 that is rooted with trw recovery so Im not a noob but I have never encountered something like this before. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would certainly appreciate it and I will be sure to hit the thanks or buy your a beer if you have donation set up. You guys have got me through so much crap in the past I hope I can find some help here tonight. I have searched the web but I keep getting conflicting stories so I figured I should just ask my brothers here for the help. again. I really appreciate any input you may have. Thanks
Don't remember seeing a thread on here for it. I would say it might could be done but not high priority and not much information.

I know... It's been asked before but humor me... Please.

Hey all!
I realize that requests like this have been made I imagine but I just want to know if I should have any hope in being able to put a custom ROM on my Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note Edge the N915V non development edition.
I am curious if it is being worked on or if everyone has given up?
I just miss having the choice to decide what ROM to use while I love this particular phone hardware wise and features.
If anyone is working hard on this let me know I would be happy to donate to the cause so we can get the ability to root and unlock the bootloader on these dang phones!
Thanks all! I appreciate your allowing me to post this "plea". I have used custom ROMs forever now and wow do I miss the power!

The answer is yes, they are working on it, it's just taking more time to access root due to the locked bootloader. The Verizon note 4 is virtually the same as the note edge as far as firmware goes, if you would like to donate, check out the Note 4 forums for Verizon.
short answer is yes...
The long answer involves a young priest and an old priest... (joke from movie no hard feelings) but seriously don't hold your breath. It is being worked on but it isn't a simple task.
As for unlocking the bootloaders don't count on it. You will most likely see something similar to safestrap on theae devices once root is actually obtained.
I'm glad to hear there are some people still holding out I have a lot of love for this device. I hope that support starts flowing in despite the lack of advertising on samsungs part for this device. Looking forward to the note edge 2! (Dev edition of corse lol)

[Q] U.S. SCH-I535 Verizon 4.4.2 Bootloader Unlock Question

Let me first start by saying. I'm sure alot of people will find this annoying but after searching countless forums on various sites all across the web I can't find a definitive answer. Has the Verizon Wireless SCH-I535 4.4.2 I535OYUDNE1 3.4.0 Kernal Bootloader been unlocked? Most posts I see are several months old and some people say no one cares and there will never be an unlock, others claim it's in the works, some claim it has been done but I can't find a link or posting stating without a doubt it has been done and how to do it. So my question to recap is ( Has the locked bootloader successfully been unlocked? If so where can I find the instructions on how to do so?) I did successfully manage to root and grant SuperSU but then wound up getting the ! Yellow triangle of death and had to re-flash stock. I have a great deal of stupidity when it comes to newer tech but have thus far enjoyed tinkering and feeling around in the dark to learn. After all "Discovery requires experimentation." Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out. Or just give me a straight and certain answer.

Straight and simple answer - no, it has not been unlocked and likely never will be unlocked.
Balls! That sucks. Damn Verizon. Should've guessed as much. What did I expect? So many people praise them but I get ******* service everywhere I go. And I live in a major US city. Thanks for your reply though. I'll stop holding my breath. I do have one last question. I've seen posts of people flashing CM11-12 on the SCH-I535 does that include the Verizon 4.4.2 or not? I assume it doesn't but in the off chance it does would you provide a link to the relevant manual? Thanks again.

If they are on CM there bootloaders are unlocked. And no that does not include those who took the OTA to 4.4.2

I was wondering the same thing. Just had my s6 (non-edge) replaced on warranty and want to re-root the thing.... Apparently pingpongroot doesn't work for G920W8VLU2AOG2
Not sure if you two ever got rooted, but this one did it for me on a G920W8VLU2AOG2 build:

^nb: sry I can't actually link - new users can't for the first 10 days
Shawn
Just did it. Worked like a charm! Thanks so much Shawn! It didn't delete anything either

Same position we need to come together and sponsor a root exploit reward.
Anything yet?
I just came to this phone from asurion...lol. I had a LG G3 but I don't know if this is the best yet. There isn't even a single thread about root. Does anybody even know the difference with this and the regular s7/edge phones?

highly doubt we can gather 2.5k dollars for a bounty lol
Getting to the Bottom
I started a thread about the root status of the S7 Active. I would be willing to contribute $100 toward that bounty and assist in any way possible.
