Yeah, if there were custom roms it would have been cake.
I'm trying the following right now:
1. Downloading random Honor 4c updates
2. Uploading the update.app file in SD Card root in folded "dload"
3. Fully turning off the device
4. Starting the device by pressing Volume Up + Volume Down + Power buttons
5. When you start it like this, it starts to install the firmware
Unfortunately, so far all installs have failed after the first few seconds of update, but I'm still trying. Maybe this is the way to unbrick?
man thats good i donno that metord how to do that step 2 plese expalin

Done, unbricked it.
1. I've first deleted everything from TWRP. Wiped all, including the installed rom.
2. I've went to reboot from TWRP, and it warned me that I have no rom installed and if I want to install root. Declined root install.
3. I've downloaded my original stock 5.1 rom from Huawei consumer site (I can't paste the URL, as I don't have enough posts on the forum)
4. Extracted the ZIP file and inside there is a "dload" folder.
5. Copied the folder and pasted it inside my SD card (It should be in the primary (root) folder).
4. Completely turned of my device and booter with Volume Up + Volume Down + Power button.
5. It started to install the rom and went to 100%.
6. The rom install failed, but after reboot, I waited a few minutes and the phone loader inside Android.
In the future, I should start making TWRP backups of the last working rom before trying to update further
Let me know if this works for you.
Cheers!
happy for you man :highfive:

Well, if you have CWM (rom manager) do this:
Download a Zip rom from the development area.
Put the rom on an external SD, then put the SD on the phone.
then turn on the phone with vol down button pressed.
After apear LG logo release buttons and you have entered recovery.
Wipe/format wipe cache.
Install zip from SD.
Choose the zip and install it.
Then if you want to go back to stock rom follow the link

Easy download the lg support software from lg website and hold power plus volume up and then connect your usb while pressing those two buttons it will connect your phone in recovery mode. Then open lg support tool and click file then recovery it will ask you for imei enter it. Then it will ask for imei and serial number both can be found where the battery is by pulling the battery out. Hit enter after you typed ur imei and serial and it will restore your phone to brand new status.. If it doesnt boot first time just unplugg battery reinsert and hold power plus volume down and enter recovery wipe everything and it will boot..

Hi all,
Today was a tough day for me. I bought a T Mobile HTC One S in India (It was unlocked).
When I started using it I found that it did not connect to 3G Network.
So I thought may be installing a new ROM would help.
So, I Rooted my phone with the help of such useful posts on xda (Thank You all for Making it so NOOD Friendly)
But, the ROM did not start, it stuck on boot screen (THAT STUPID UNICORN)
I waited for hours, but NO SUCCESS...!!!
After doing some wrong things, I BRICKED my phone. It only started CWM Recovery.
But, by TRIAL & ERROR, I fixed my phone right back.
FIRST OF ALL THANK YOU ALL THOSE AMAZING DEVELOPERS ON XDA WITHOUT WHOM THIS MIGHT NOT HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE
Now, I decided that I should post something so that people like me would get some help.
Here it is:
STEP 1:
1. Put your phone in BOOTLOADER mode by pressing volume down+power
2. Download AIO Kit from HERE
3. Extract it and Run it.
4. You will see a Flash Recovery radio button.
5. Select TWRP from above list and click on FLASH RECOVERY
6. Once it installs. Repeat the 1st Step and put your Phone again in BOOTLOADER mode.
7. Press volume down button and highlight RECOVERY and press power button again. You will enter recovery.
I followed all those above steps as instructed by the best posters on XDA (THANK YOU ALL).
Now when I tried to mount sd card, it said error mounting sd card. Then I again searched all forum and tried everything but I was unsuccessful.
I was worried as how was I going to put a ROM on my sd card so that I can put my ONE S back to normal.
I also used "adb push" syntax and tried to push the ROM on sd card, but it was a failure. The ROM transferred to sd card but it did not install since it still showed "error mounting sd card"
(IF YOU HAVE FACED THE SAME PROBLEM WHAT I HAVE WRITTEN AND YOU ARE STILL TRYING TO FIX THAT MOUNTING OF SD CARD ERROR FOLLOW THE STEPS I HAVE WRITTEN BELOW)
AFTER THAT I FOLLOWED THE FOLLOWING STEPS AND MADE MY MISSION SUCCESSFULL
8. Click on MOUNT USB in the recovery mode. You will see that you laptop / pc will come up with a message that you storage has errors and you need to fix it.
9. Click yes and format it. (You will see later that it was your phone sd card)
10. Once the format is complete, copy the ROM you want to the device and you will be flashing it later.
11. Now, click on UNMOUNT USB. Remove USB Cable
12. Now get out and click on INSTALL in TWRM Recovery.
13. Browse where you pasted the ROM.zip file and start installing it.
14. After successful installation your HTC will boot normally.
AND DONE...!!!!
I would highly appreciate if senior members of this forum modified what i have written in a better way. (SINCE I AM IN A HURRY)
If I helped, PLEASE DON'T BE SHY TO SAY THANKS...!!!
THANK YOU ALL THOSE VALUABLE MEMBERS OF XDA WITHOUT WHOM MY HTC ONE S WAS NEVER GONNA GET BACK TO NORMAL
Just to clear something up.....if you can get to recovery your device is not bricked
Sent from my HTC VLE_U using xda app-developers app
Also, I'm relatively sure this exact thread has already been posted and is linked on the first page of the faq thread.
Dude! You are a god send =) I soft-bricked my One S nearly three weeks ago. I happened upon your thread and yours was way more thorough and user friendly than all the rest. I followed your steps exactly and voila! Got my phone back from the coma state.
Much obliged,

I know this was some time ago, but do you recall which rom you used?
Well, I cant go to to recovery, hboot nor the bootloader. So im simply f-ed up.

Hello friends,
Please help me. I rooted my phone Tipo (Android updated to latest), Installed the startup manager. Permissions denied app. I denied permissions to a few games and apps. and then locked, then reboot through it. Now my phone starts for few seconds. When I unlock the screen and try to touch something, it hangs and shuts down immediately and restarts after a minute. This restarting is Cycling continuously.
I am removed the battery to stop the restart cycles.
I think its time to flash the phone manually. Its only phone I have right now.
Can you help me? Please show me a post, or link that will guide me with manual flashing.

first thing you need is flash tool .download from here http://androxyde.github.com/ download and install it
then you need a stock firmware download it from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2001567
copy it to the flashtool/firmware (where you install flashtool)
install the drivers from the drivers folder inside flashtool
you are ready to flash the firmware(make sure there is no other file in firmware folder exept you mobile's firmware)
1. start the flashtool
2. click on lighting bolt button
3. choose flashmode
4. make sure wipe data and wipe cache are checked
5.click ok
6. after flashtool prepairs files for flashing ( it will told you to unplug and press back button and plug it in BUT YOU HAVE TO UNPLUG YOUR MOBILE,, SWITCH IT OFF(I KNOW ITS ALREADY SWITCHED OFF) PRESS AND HOLD VOLUME DOWN KEY WHILE PLUGING IN YOUR MOBILE
when flash process starts release the volume down key
7. wait for flashing process complete .. .(it will stuck at 94% for just few seconds don't worry )
after flashing process complete switch on your mobile.....good luck
after flashing if you want to root it ..follow the guide here http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1978

Hey Moderator,
Please remove or lock this post or something, just in case if it is not appropriate here.
The phone was a Brick who was constantly saying nothing other than "Look I am not a Brick".
I solved the problem. The Sony PC companion did not do anything. Using the old Update Service I reinstalled the phone software. Now it is completely renewed. Touch issues also seem to be gone. ))

Hi I tried installing gapps in the stock rom of huawei honor play cun-al00 and bricked the phone in the process.
Problem is i cant find its stock rom anyplace not even on official site
You're in luck dude. I'm looking for a custom ROM right now but I happened to stumble on the stock version, according to the Chinese it says "Official Huawei ROM for CUN-AL00" although I can't guarantee any authenticity to it. You can try it out though, it's most likely the Chinese ROM but you could probably switch to English after you get it installed.
I can't post the link cuz I'm a new user. Please msg me.
By the way, I've tried everything to get gapps installed on this motherf*, and I think the only option is to flash a custom rom. I don't think the stock rom supports it. But then again I'm very new to flashing and only had the CUN-AL00 for less than a week so I could be wrong.
Let me know how it goes, and if you find a way to get gapps installed...
Mobile Stock rom Downloaded Next Step??
Hey I have downloaded the stock rom thanks again!!
the major issue is getting it into the mobile as the mobile is in bootloop any guidance regarding it.
Fastboot mode requires boot.img,sytem.img,recovery.img etc files any help would be greatly appreciated.
Ok, you got the ROM, good. Now try this:
It's a little tricky to get into recovery mode on this phone. It seems it works better if you take your battery out for a couple minutes before you try to enter recovery mode.
Take out battery and get an sd card. Use your computer and SD card reader to create a folder called “dload” on the root of the sd card. Find the update.zip file from the ROM you downloaded. Put the update.zip file into dload folder. It must be in that location for stock recovery to flash the ROM, and it must be called "update.zip". Make sure the names and locations are exactly the same as written here.
Now put the sd card into phone and your battery back (again make sure the battery has been out for a couple minutes before you try to boot into recovery mode). Now hold volume up + power button, when you see the "honor" screen release the buttons. This should boot you into recovery mode. Then click "apply update from sd card". It will automatically find the update.zip in the folder you created and flash it.
Let me know if the above works for you.

Hello
I have a Mate 7 L-09 and I am in the same situation of Sassan_Payehdar described in the his thread
Hi everyone,
I have a Huawei Mate 7 LT-09 16 gig, and I recently did these works:
1. The installed rom was android 6 B513.
2. I read a post in this forum (that is closed now) and updated it to B553 KingVIP Chinese through restoring nandroid TWRP backup.
3. After install I saw lots of bugs, so I wipe all partitions through advanced wipe in TWRP.
4. Then install marshmallow stock recovery using mobopx tool.
after that nothing works.
The USB drive just show hisuite CD-Rom and device not recognize for ADB Options in windows 7,8,8.1 and 10.
There is no recovery,
There is no option using combinations of the buttons vol+,Vol- and power.
I tried installing stock ROM through .app file and dload folder and still nothing works.
I tried Jtag and after lots of work, fastboot screen appears and reinstalling all versions of different recoveries and looks like the software is installing nowhere in neverland!, there is nothing!
I take my device to a technician and he said there is maybe no way to re-run the device. I really need help.
Apologize for poor English and thanks in advance help.

No bootloader, no recovery, no option using combinations of the buttons vol+,Vol- and power, no recognition by ADB on PC only huawei logo.
He tried Jtag to appear fastboot, but I never read anything about Jtag. Where can I find it and how to use it?
Sorry for my English.
Can somebody help me?
Thank you so much!!
Al
What happens when you enable your phone (after shutdown) with pressing power + volume up?
Also, what happens when you do the same but with power + volume down?
I would say that if it loads the logo you should be able to enter fastboot/recovery.
Focus on this first and what is your experience with using custom roms to give us an idea of what could be overlooked etc.
If you can load to fastboot and/or recovery let us know and we start from there.

Thank you very much for the answer......
Ok...
I can' t swich off the phone. When I press power off button it reboot and after a few seconds appears huawei logo and then nothing more happens.
When I try to press VOL- and power or VOL+ and power or any other combination of buttons it happens the same think written above: the phone reboot and after a few seconds appears huawei logo and stop.
I brought the phone to the huawei customer center and they told me it need to change motherboard to fix it but it is out of production. I brought it to two famous Chinese stores to fix phones here in Milano, but they couldn't do anything (so they said).
I would just like to retrieve the use of the phone. I saved all the data.
Thanks again for the help.

Not being able to to overcome the logo boot is unknown to me. Maybe the phone should still be able to be flashed!
I lack the knowledge, but to help out I share a link to someone having a similar issue. I will share the link at the end of this post.
If you are unable to connect to your phone and/or make it enter fastboot or recovery I have no idea if that means your phone is bricked.
For now, make sure you understand how to flash, boot, reset etc your phone, only to be sure you have tried all approaches.
Let us know if you did not succeed also so others can learn from this thread in the future

Good
now I am in this situation: I was able to install TWRP recovery for Marshmallow 3.0.2-0 Mate 7 by Mobopx v.2.1.
I chose this recovery beecause my last firmware was EMUI 4.0 (Marshmallow).
After I tried to apply this method: http://ministryofsolutions.com/2016...09tl10-bootloop-after-marshmallow-update.html, but it didn't work. After flashing I power on the phone and it try to boot (some times the animation start too for a bit) but then nothing. The phone reboot in recovery mode (this is a change compared to before).
Somebody has some ideas??
Thanks
Al
