Hello to all.
I tried to find an answer for my troubles here by a few hours but unfortunatelly i didnt. So I wonder to find help here thanks to XDA specimens society.
Problem symptoms
1 I bought One mini in USA. Seller provided a photo with bootloader screen which I attach below.
2 When received device, it didnt boot up at all. Only a HTC logo appeared at white background and screen began black.
Than when I press a power button, a touch buttons under screen flash 10 times and stop. Again press of power button gives one short vibration and nothing later happens.
I noticed that alu cover at down side (battery area) becomes warm and it is working till battery power goes to 0%
3 When "working", mobile is detected by Windows system connected by usb. It show mass storage, modem and not recognized device.
4 Also it shows a battery charging animation if power button was not pressed before and battery is charged from 0%.
After a two weeks in my desk it still shows 99% what means that battery is mint condition and mobile is not working when not powered on before.
Serviceman said that I have broken bootloader and it should be repaired.
Finally I found out that I can install a new ROM.
So I downloaded a
drivers (recommended here at another article)
TWRP recovery file 2 7 0 5 m4kk
customized Rom by CodenameLungo version CM 11
What I should do now? What tools install? How to putt all these into phone memory if I have not acces to bootloader screen?
If you know article which solve my problem than I will be thankfull for a link.
I know that for most of you these questions are stupid but I m not a pro and will be thankfull for a little help

Do you know how to enter bootloader? When the phone is off, you hold the Volume Down Button and the power button until phone boots up (several seconds). If you can access bootloader this way, we have a chance to help you out.
Yes I read about this method. Unfortunatelly it didnt work. Or i tried power+vol up.
Today I visited another specialist and left it for diagnostic purposes. They suppose that bootloader is damaged and should be reconstructed (if I can name it this way).
They were listening to me carefully before said that wold try to connect it with computer.
I hope they know what to do. Will call them on Friday and post here what s going on in their opinion.

OK. Good luck with it.
Bootloader was reconstructed and now it is running to the boot menu. But serviceman has a problem with flashing ROM. He said that during instalation system cant rebuild certificate and all proces fails at 3%.
May anyone point me any link with instructions what should be done at this situation? We have a deal that on Monday i take mobile back, even if rom will not be flashed correctly...
He confirmed that this phone comes from ATT broadband and is not sure if that change anything or not.
Also suggest that previous owner tried to modify ROM by himself and thats why bootloader was damaged...
I've been using my Nexus 5 for about 5 months now. Recently my phone have been having this "ghost touch" issue. My phone have a cracked screen so maybe that's the problem but I'm not entirely sure. Sometimes the touch screen doesn't work, sometimes it just presses at a spot repeatedly. The second problem is my phone sometimes dies at 80-70% battery if I play a game, use camera, or stream video. When it dies I can't turn it back on as it will die again while rebooting. It can only be turned back on by plugging it to a charger. Third is, when my phone dies or I shut it off, sometimes it will go to the "Android is starting. Optimizing app x of 152.". As I was typing this question, my phone rapidly pressed the recent screen button multiple times. Help is needed as I can't afford a new phone. And I just found out that I have been having difficulty rooting the phone. The bootloader is unlocked even after I've updated to 5.1 but I dont have any root access. I've tried multiple rooting method but failed. The battery problem is really getting under my skin as I love to take pictures but I cant really do that properly with my phone connected to a powerbank.

as this is my first post on this forum, dont give me a hard time i really need help with this phone.
I bought it recently, without battery
Than i bough battery two days later, orginal one but not new one. First two days it just kep showing invalid battery, please insert orginal battery and than it just stopped. I can power on the device and it works perfectly while screen is on, when i press the lock screen button after a couple of seconds it turns off and starts booting again. Same thing while on charger, but when connected to a pc its works perfectly. I just dont understand this. I took it apart, no water damage, didnt even fall once, i think its the cellphone but i am not sure as i dont have another battery to test it or money to get a new one they are expensive in croatia, about 40$. I would really like to get this phone working. tried diffrent usb cables, diffrent ac adapters, lock button didnt stuck even once, but the charging time is really bad too. all night got him to 89%, is it possible that maybe battery isnt giving him enough juice to turn the screen on again after a lock? i just dont know anymore tried everything and help would be great. Ok so my tablet has been like this for a while but i finally decided to attempt to fix it. The problem is that the device wont turn on the screen is black i have tried almost every combination of the buttons to try and turn it on, When i hold the power button for 10 seconds and plug the charger and hold for another 10 seconds the charging screen flashes and it has been on 0% even though its been plugged in for hours. Before this happened i rooted it with towelroot app and every thing was fine until i downloaded the lollipop update and as soon as it went on to cwm the tablet crashed. Is the tablet bricked for good? I really don't want a $150 paperweight.

Hi there. I came here on last resort.. Yesterday after I did the last update of the security patch (december 2022 I believe), the phone rebooted just fine, and after about 5-10 minutes it froze. Screen on and simply froze. A bit after the screen went off. After 2 -3 minutes like this I tried to force restart it by holding the power button and It did vibrate altough the screen didn't turn on and it didn't reboot.
Today and even after having it charging for a while it's just dead.. Doesn't turn on, can't put in it recovery mode also, nothing.
I have no idea what happened but I can't do much.
Any advice guys?

The same here. I can't even boot into recovery mode. I have no idea how they're going to fix this problem. Figures - this is the first Android phone that I haven't mess with i.e. root, etc.
Well I cannot be without phone and even after being charging for more than 5 hours, there wasn't even a signal of life on it. Nothing. I also couldn't even do a backup or something. Frustrating.
Bought it on amazon last year. Spoke to them and they will refund the value. Will send it back and already bought another phone. (Redmi note 11 pro).
Regarding this is just very very bad. Stuff like this cannot happen after an oficial update.

Unless the phone is working except the screen is off I can't see it being easily fixed. I bought my off Aliexpress so I might **** out of luck.
I tried to see if it would make some noise like if the phone was working and screen off but nothing.. IDK but this really sucks. Maybe trie to contact realme directly?

I have contacted them via email and Aliexpress message board but these Chinese companies aren't known for having good customer service. It's a shame for I quite like the phone. May I ask what you bought as a replacement?
I also did that but nothing. Initially I tought it could be the battery. It was either that or the update but if you also had it then for sure it was the update and there's probably more with the same problem.. Can only wish you luck with the customer support..
I've bought the xiaomi redmi note 11 pro. I just searched similar priced phones compared to what I paid for the realme(320€) and that was the best option for the price. It costed 289€. The 6gb variant. It's not a direct competitor but it's more than enough for me and it offers a lot for the price. I also had a few xiaomis before and I don't have complaints. I checked the realme 9 pro but the xiaomi was cheaper and has better specs overall.

So it means you cannot acces recovery, fastboot mode and also you cannot boot your phone!

Thanks for the response. After setting up a new Oneplus 9 Pro by changing the the firmware from T-Mobile to basic Global. I'm able to get into EDL mode . I also have the correct drivers installed in WIndows so it appears in the Device Manager when in EDL mode. I also have the current firm. I just need a working version of the MSM program.

Something similar happened to me yesterday twice, device suddenly turned off while I wasn't even looking, and wouldn't turn on again no matter how much time I'd press the power button.
However; When I held Power Button + Volume UP for a few seconds, the device did turn ON back again.

Geez this worked perfectly, you are a lifesaver!! After holding the Power Button + Volume Up my device did turn ON. I faced all similar issues mentioned in this thread related to booting after the screen went black while using it.
