Hey guys,
I came here hoping to find someone with the skills and talent to possibly pull something together for us. We are currently running the B.O.S HD thread for the HD roms, and I kind of wanted to put the word out for help as i have attempted to follow some "side" instructions, but mine came out like sh*t. So if someone is willing to help, will you please respond here in the thread or just pm me and i will give you some ideas.
You would be highly recognized in the thread and site we have.
Thanks allot in advanced to those who may want to tackle our needs.
I wouldn't mind trying to help.

Hello Everyone!

I am EVO-Synopsis and i have been at XDA for about 3-4 months now. I finally took the time to register and hope that i am able to help the community in any way i am able =D.
I do YouTube video commentary and am in need of a video intro. I am not good with 3d art or i would make it myself. If you are willing to help, there are just 2 requirements that i ask.
1) It is either a general theme (video games, hacking, very general stuff) or Themed towards XDA or The Mafia Underground (can't post link, but look Google search tmuservers and you should find it.
2) It looks nice, but not gross or disturbing =D
If you want to help, either shoot me an E-mail or PM me on the forums here.
Thank you so much in advance

Sir, please use the proper forums to say your hello/hi.

[GUIDE] How to earn thanks [New-Users]

Note:- This thread is intended for the New-Users that haven't quite settled in with XDA.
So I am sure by now, you have read the How To Be A New User And Not A Noob Guide, and have noticed the Forum ranks, but also most importantly the Thanks meter.
But before you go running off like a mad bunny hunter for thanks, read this guide to understand the Do's and Don'ts.
Don'ts:-
Do NOT, I repeat NOT beg for Thanks, you may ask so politely. E.G. " If this post helped you, I would gladly appreciate it if you could press the thanks button. "
There is nothing I hate more than a guy begging for thanks. E.G. " Where is my thanks? or Press the thanks button NOW!!! " - These people are often referred to as thanks hunters and come off bad, this ends up in them having less Thanks.
Don't answer a question if it has already been successfully answered. Only if you might have a different solution.
Don't come off with a I-Know-Best attitude, don't try to make the questioner feel dumb, yes even if it is a dumb question.
Don't use words that the questioner won't understand. E. G. " I think it might be due to a bad power supply and a under voltage in the battery cell's. Instead of, I think it's the battery you could think of replacing it. " Especially if the questioner isn't too clued up.
Do's:-
Give the answer but also explain why it could work - XDA is a place of sharing knowledge!
Always give detail if you just tell me what to do, rather than explaining that you were in the situation too, or have experience in the category, or even a link to an article, I might not always believe you. - XDA has lots of trolls.
If other people help you, give them a Thanks too - As I said at the don'ts, don't be ignorant and have a I-Know-Best attitude.
If the person posted in the wrong section, inform him but also answer his question to fore come him from making a double post.

I hope this guide helps some of the New-Users and that your Thanks meter grows very big one day. But please remember that the Thanks meter does not make you important or better than anyone else. There are a lot of people that have more than a 1000 Thanks that only deserve 200. But then there are also Developers and Senior Mods with only 10 Thanks.

[Completed] Hello. New here - please help (Note 3 SM-N9005)

Hello xda forum. I recently joined this comunity. Heard of it on a youtube video by C4AEtech in the same day that I have rooted my phone - Samsung galaxy note 3 SM-N9005.
Please dont be hars on me, I dont know where to post, so if I'm in the wrong category please move my topic, i'll learn from mistakes.
Since I'm new to rooting and dont wanna do anything by my own cuz there are risks and dont want to intentionally burry my phone, I would like some guidance.
Basicly I have some questions
-I play this game called Taichi Panda and I lagg really hard sometimes, and yeah, my phone has 3gb ram and a strong cpu. With my old phone I had an octa core with 1gb ram and it was same. The issue here is that my old phone was running at 720p and note3 at 1080p . Is there something that I can do to switch my graphics from 1080p to 720p ? (only to this game) I want to record and make some youtube videos and I'd like to be lagg free for extra video quality. The difference between 720p and 1080p is not that big of a deal, and if it helps my game to run lagg free it will be great. P.S. I play only on wifi and I have 50mbs up and down.
-I saw here something about custom roms and kernels. I dont know what are those, but I want to improve my phone in a good way and get the most of it. I would like it to run well, not to lagg somethimes, not to freeze and stuff. I'd like to OC my CPU to a safe limit (what I saw is about 2.7 ghz). I would also like something custom that will improve my phone to perform better.
Offtopic: Recently my phone had some problems (before root). When I plug it it for charging , sometimes it doesnt charge at all and sometimes it charges for 1 sec than for next 2 sec it doesnt and so on. I dont know if its my battery fault of my charger, mabye I have killed it with that game Could you recommand me a program where I can see my battery life remaining ?
Any tip and tricks are welcome, I'm opened to any suggestions. I just want my phone to run better and this comunity just rocks -been searching for stuff in past days but cant do anything on my own.
Best wishes

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
We cannot provide technical support nor can other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist but fortunately there is an XDA area dedicated to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 at http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3 which would be a good starting place. I suggest you post your questions with all relevant details in the friendly Q&A forum there at http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/help where the experts familiar with your device will be best able to guide you.
Good luck!

Hello again.
Since you seem to have several separate somewhat unrelated concerns, it would best for you to start separate threads in that forum if you still have questions after reviewing the information already available there.
Once again, good luck.
