Little black dot on my screen - LG G Flex 2

Hello,
I have a small black spot on my device. It does not bother me. But I would like to know if there is a risk that this widens. I received it in this state and it never fell.
It is still under guarantee, what you advise me to do?

I have a G Flex 2 with the same dead pixels but in other place, on the lower side of the display. There will be no problem because the pixels have already been burned from the factory. At first it annoyed me but with time of use does not bother.

I will be sad to send the phone that I wanted for so long under repair for a few weeks lol..
However, I thought it was because the package containing my GFlex was seriously shaken during transport, isn't it ?

What the hell man, your screen looks awful. This purple tint makes me sick. Send it to LG they will replace it surely.
//Edit: Here in Poland, it takes 3 day for door-to-door warranty to get it done. 1 day for shipping, 1 day for reparing and last day for shipping it back to you. I have send mine 2 times and it took that little every time.

In reality, my screen tint is white, you saw it purple because of my old xperia camera.
Does the shipping cost is free ?

Idk where are you from, in Poland there is door-to-door warranty, which means that DHL picks the phone at your home and delivers it back to you when it's done. And yes, it's totally free

I'm from France. I have to contact the phone reseller where I bought my device or directly LG support ?

Have you repaired your Z3 before? What was your experience like?

So last week I sent in my Z3 for repair. I live in Singapore. I was told via SMS that I could collect my phone yesterday. It got me excited because I was using a spare phone (Samsung Galaxy Ace III) and it was horribly slow. The service center here in Singapore is about 1 to 1 and a half hours ride (public transport) from where I live. So I went there and got a ticket and waited patiently. Fortunately there wasn't much people there so the queue was short. The counter called up my number and I went ahead and show them the letter (which included my job number and confirmation that it's my phone). They took the phone out and asked me to check for any problems. I remembered sending in my Z1 last year. Basically the Z1 I got after repairing was a different phone (looked like a display phone with the video for displaying still playing). I was stupid not to check and went straight home only to realize to port was a tiny bit loose and there was dust in the camera. Now back to my Z3. I decided not to make the same mistake again. Checked the phone and what do you know. There was some liquid substance in the camera lens. Waited for almost 2 weeks just to get back another "faulty" phone. Fortunately they told me they'd mark my phone as "Urgent" and told me it'd still be under warranty so I don't have to pay and wait for long. Now the point is, looking back to my Z1, it feels like the technicians over at Sony doesn't bother to check for any problems when repairing.
So here's my question to you as a discussion. Have you sent in your Z3 (or any other Sony device in that matter)? What was your experience like? Where do you live?
Something similar happened to me. After 5 month I get yellow spot in upper left corner of my screen about 2.5cm and it gets bigger. Take it to service center and they said need to wait 2 weeks :'(. After 2 weeks thay send me phone over some hp express. So happy I can see my screen was new and shine I put sim card and BANG! It say no service wtf :-o everything else works but not sim card and mobile network.Next day go to service center personally and they said sorry but your motherboard die??? Thay repair one thing and crush another!? Lucky they repair my phone (new motherboard) in 2 day.

Yeah for me they repaired my motherboard, battery and display. Motherboard and battery was fried. Display has a dead pixel ever since I bought it. Total would cost me around SGD800 but thanks to warranty it's free. So that's the bright side. But the bad side is it's taking so long to repair and it just don't do it right.
But if you buy premium phone you don't expect to be faulty only for 3-4 month or worse in our case service make bigger damage on phone than it was :-S

Sent My V10 To LG For Repair; Receive Phone With Ridiculous Amount Of Scratches

To make a long story short my LCD panel started to bleed at the top of my screen. There was no apparent cracks and no signs of impact but my mobile carrier refused to call it a defect and quoted me a repair price of $175, even with the insurance I pay $10 a month for. I filled out a LG repair form, they send me my prepaid label, get an email saying it is a defect and they will repair for free and I'll have my phone back in 4 days. Excellent, until I get my phone in the mail. I will post pictures once my girlfriend gets home and I can use her camera, but holy hell my screen looks like Freddy Krueger tried using it. My screen was flawless when I sent it in, I bought a tempered glass protector minutes after getting the phone so there was no damage prior to sending it in. I could live with a small scuff or something but this is absolutely ridiculous, I'm talking deep, DEEP scratches. I contacted LG and spoke with 2 different representatives just to see if I could get a different answer out of somebody else, but both have told me the only option is to send it back in for repair and they will offer no other compensation. I'm also having doubts that this is my original phone. My girlfriend and I both have a V10 so I put a small white dot behind the battery and that's no longer there, and my left rail had a small scratch on it at the very top and that is no longer there.
Has anybody else had a similar situation with LG? I've already went a week without my phone and I'm not really up for going another week without it, especially not knowing what condition I'll get it back in. I need to access my emails for work. My mobile carrier won't issue me a loaner phone since I'm not getting the repair done through them.

well...my V10 have the bleeding issue in the second screen too, its legible when in a dark envroiment and i dont like that but...guess what?! i dont care about that bleeding issue so much because i know 60% (or more) V10's have the same issue...is LG issue but i dont bother about this!
is a waste of time send it to repair and then they dont take care of your phone and get scratches everywhere and you get a worst phone than you have after sending to repair! belive me, screen issues like this dont deserve that treatment.
I hope you go to repair shop (if you can) and write a coment on the book of the store explaining the things happened to you...it dont do much but LG will know they have to treat better theyr customers phones!

Sorry to confuse, but I'm not referring to the 2nd screen bleeding light, my LCD below the front facing cameras actually starting bleeding liquid.
If you still have original box you can compare imei and serial numbers, this will tell you if it's your phone or not

This does suck indeed. I suggest you try getting hold of one of the higher ups of your carrier there, else if nothing works perhaps you can send a complaint e-mail to LG Korea to hopefully get your matter sorted out.

White Spot on Screen

My Honor 8 has developed a white spot near the center of the screen.
It's only visible when the display is showing white such as the test message app or email app.
Anyone else experiencing this issue?
If your device is still within warranty, I would return it to Honor for repairs.

Bring your phone to the service center.
Spoke with them yesterday and they've requested photos and proof of payment to confirm warranty.
Phone is less than 60 days old at this point.
I wasn't aware of a service center?
I have some kind of small 'scratches' under the screen too, the scratch marks causes the color to be lighter through it. Not great quality control for their screen.
I like to know how your warranty claim goes. I'm not fond of these Chinese companies that give customers a hardtime, which is why I stopped buying OnePlus.
So far so good. They requested photos of the issue and proof of payment.
They sent me an overnight UPS label. Phone shipped to them on Monday. Because UPS sucks sometimes, they didn't receive it until Wednesday.
Should have it back mid next week. I'll post more when received.

Last time when I sent in the phone to replace my crashed screen (front screen and back cover), they only took two days after receiving it to ship it back to me using UPS. That is impressive compared to other companies and the past records of Huawei customer service!
Turned out great. They sent me a new device. Received it yesterday. Total time without the phone was less than 8 full days. Shipped it out last Monday evening and received the replacement yesterday around lunch.
Pretty darn easy. Being without my phone for a week sucked but all in all, couldn't ask for more.
Excellent service!

cracked screen, ugh!

Unfortunately after 3 days use, cracked screen. A fall on the cement with a case on it, but it was too much.
Sad day. Hopefully replacement parts might be available sóon
Same happened to me just now.
I dropped it (with the HTC case on), and the screen cracked.
The drop was about 1 meter :-/
I feel sick now...

Same for me, was out walking the dog and the lead pushed the phone out of my pocket. Landed on the top left corner I think at first glance was fine barely even a mark on the case but when I got home and put the phone down that there was a weird reflection and turned the screen on and saw a crack going a cross from top left to just over the power button.
Have contacted HTC to arrange a repair which is chareable as they seemingly void the warranty when the screen is cracked...better get warranty back on it after they fix it.
I was just about ready to sell my u11 thankfully still got it so using it now altho complete stock sucks lol and had relocked bootloader so no warning screen on boot sigh....
Hmm I contacted HTC (Netherlands), and they told me that it's not under warranty.
I'm going to call again on monday and try again!
The crack on my phone runs from the power button down to the left bottom side.

Warranty don't cover user fault. I mean, if the phone shipped damged than you can get it cover.

I have just got the quote for repair my screen, not the actual quote as they still can't give me a the proper ticket number etc.
The cost for me to ahve the screen replaced is £285 which is almost 50% of what I paid...not bad ehh. Think this will be my last HTC phone have had them for years but losing my phone and then a ridiculous repair cost is not good.

Well that price tag is the same with every other manufacturer. So it's something you would have had to deal with on a Sammy or OP as well... it's nothing ridiculous actually. That's why I took care to get mine insured as soon as it arrived.

Yeah but the best thing is that the phone been in the repair centre since the 13th and still haven't got the actual quote so I can't even pay it and they never got me the UPS return label so I also had to pay for the shipping back to the factory.
Been in touch with the support for every day for well over a week and still not actually got a proper ticket number that I can track and just keep getting a new ticket number that doesn't work plus mixing up the serial number.
So think this will be the last HTC phone for me as my U11 that was faulty when I got it also took weeks to get replaced as they kept saying they where going to try and repair it.

Well that's standard. Spar parts need to be delivered to the partners in the specific regions. Such things always take 4 - 6 weeks after the first devices shipped. Some manufacturers even need 8 to 10 weeks to provide the needed parts and prices.

so any news on spare parts, i allready ordered a new back for my 5 days old u12+ but one day after i ordered it i need allso a new display, it fell from about 30 cm height on the ground and i was shocked thatthe display broke alltough it was in the original case
lousy performance by htc after the tank of a phone htc 10
Can't believe it happened to me. My U12+ fell out of my pocket -- maybe three feet -- and shattered!! I'd been using it in the wild for just four days. Had it in the case that came with the phone. (The case I planned to use is arriving tomorrow.)
I'm horrified. This phone can't be dropped three feet?? It's defective by design.
Now, the aftermatch. I contacted HTC US and they said they wouldn't touch it because I have the Hong Kong variant. I'm supposed to coordinate with HTC Hong Kong. The repair shop up the street said they could fix it for $150 if I was willing to wait two weeks for parts, so I'm trying that.
Insult to injury, I thought I had insurance, but it doesn't kick in because T-Mobile hadn't registered the phone.
Will keep everyone posted about the repair. It would be great if there was a cheaper third-party option.

Good luck on the repair. I would see if a repair shop locally could repair it. I just had a sub par experience with the USA HTC repair department recently. I bricked my phone and decided to send it back to HTC to see if they could revive the phone. After 5 weeks they sent it back to me and it still was not working correctly. I decided to see if I could resolve the issue which I was able to. Thank goodness. I would have hated to send the phone back to HTC for nothing again.

Man! Make me nervous when reading this lol. The warranty on HTC device isn't up to it standard.

I'm sorry if I made you feel uneasy but I figure just wanted to give you a head's up on HTC repair service. I found another thread on this particular topic and it was disappointing to read all the issues customers had with HTC repair (USA).
next time if you have a warranty issue, you can try asking the HTC DACH contact on facebook/twitter... they are actually replying properly and maybe even able to help properly. it's sad to see so many bad things with USA repair as in Europe it's quite good...but also depends on if you are in contact with them per private message or just via e-mail... via private message on facebook it works out much better
Two and half weeks later, the local repair shop tells me they ordered the wrong part (probably for the U12 Life) and worse they are unable to source a U12+ replacement screen anywhere in the world. I can't find a place to buy one either, with the sole exception of an Indian supplier asking more than $300.
Does anyone know where one can buy a replacement screen? Or how much HTC charges for repair? If it's more than $200 I'm giving up on this.

Just happened to me, over the phone they quoted me $2-300, but it could be more or less after sending it in. I asked what is the point of a warranty and they said it's only software issues, and it doesn't cover user damages like cracked screens. Anyways, you and I are sinking in the same boat, with HTC not selling any screens themselves, or providing other alternatives besides their own repair center. Scam company at this point
HTC cracked screen repair update:
1. I sent HTC my U12+ to repair due to a cracked screen.
2. They email me asking for a credit card to charge for the repair ($200). They asked me to call them. They did not provide a phone number.
3. I called and they ultimately said someone will call me back in 24-48 hours to take payment because they can't take payment.
4. When asked how long it will take to repair once they have payment, he said they usually take 3 week from the time they receive the phone.
It's been 7+ weeks since they received the phone.
How do I get in touch with the Indian dude, I'll spend the 300 to look at the screen without cracks. Guess I got lucky if you call it that, everything works and the cracks aren't that bad but it is disconcerting that a screen can't be had anywhere.

A website called "cellspare" sells the screen, but it's $339. I made the resolve to wait two months and see if screens are cheaper.

Screen Cracked...Warranty Service?

Anyone else broken their screen? Was golfing and hit a big bump and the phone fell out and hit the concrete. There are now several cracks through it but everything works fine. Luckily I bought the 6 month warranty but has anyone gone thru this? Website says 7-9 days. They offer no temporary replacement but I still have my old Samsung S8+. Not sure what other people would do in this situation.
I just chatted in and apparently I never activated my 6 month protection plan on the device. They had me contact Servify who said it is activated and the repair process goes through them not One Plus. This is strange
Also said the 6 month protection plan is a one time use so its void after this.
By the way this case was on it. No back glass damage and the bezel has one tiny chip in it that Im not worried about. I think it hit there initially
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RSJP1H4/
I broke My OP7 pro and sent it in for repair from Denmark to Poland through Oneplus
Price is aprox 164 euro
The repairdate is sofar estimated to 12 days from arrival to workshop(I'm still waiting that they start repairing)
dropped mine on the concrete on a parking lot..3 cracks on 3 corners
long story short: sent it for repair to the netherlands and after 1 week i got it back
i payed around 200€ and everything got replaced ( no warranty of course)
6 month warranty was $39, deductible is $49 so Im saving a little. Although they haven't asked for that $49 yet
Repair was approved by One Plus. Got a prepaid overnight FedEX shipping label, phone is going to the Acer Repair Center in TX. Now I need to backup everything ughhhh
I guess on the bright side I get to use my S8+ camera again haha
Bummer, but good they will repair it...
Think I have everything backed up. Dropping it off tonight
First time I ever broke a phone was with my 7 Pro I think it ended up being $227 or 247 total after everything to send to them, repair screen, and send back. No warranty obviously since again... Never even came close to breaking a phone prior to this one... But I've also always had Samsung devices with protecting cases. I kinda skimped on it this time so 100% my fault.

Wow I have no complaints about the case. Not slippery at all!
Phone was delivered this morning and 9 minutes later One Plus said it was delivered. An hour later I get an email from Acer saying I need a new LCD Assembly and its $223.32US. I call and talk to the lady and tell her I have the warranty. She says they dont handle warranty claims and I need to send it to Servify. So they are overnighting it back to me so I can send it to Servify. Fun stuff

On to of the fact that there is no lip on this one. Almost like using nothing in it. Feels great but no protection
Just use ringke fusion x from now on, its the best case i might have dropped my phone twice and the phone is perfectly fine.
Servify emailed me 8 questions on Weds and I sent it back. Going on 48 hours since I sent it in and still no shipping label
I shipped it out on Aug 19th and just got a shipping notification today that its headed back to me. Ridiculous.
Got the phone back today so it took 17 days and 20+ emails with Servify. Screen is fixed and it also looks like they replaced the bezel. No damage anywhere and there was a film on the new screen. Phone was on when I checked it and all my settings remained. I hid 25 apps in the side drawer with a password and they were all still there. Text messages still there so it doesn't appear that they reset anything.
I opened my gallery and Im missing about 3 months of photos though and the ones that are there are dated August 12th when I took them May 25th. I backed up those photos so moving them back now but why would they be gone and the few that remain are dated wrong? Did they reset the device to an earlier date? Or did they give me a refurbished/new phone and port everything they could over ? I just checked the old IMEI versus this one and its the same
Servify is now telling me that the warranty is void and I cant get another one. Contacting One Plus next

So how much did this end up costing you overall? Or is that what you are currently contending?
$49, the deductible
