[SOLUTION] HTC Explorer USB Connection Problem

DISCLAIMER: Iam NOT responsible if something happens to your phone.
Problem Description:
When I connect my HTC Explorer to PC using Data Cable NOTHING HAPPENS ,It Just CHARGES and the Menu doesn't open up.
Even When I tried USB Tethering by going into setings Manually .It says "Unable to Turn On" .I can no longer transfer files from phone to PC .
Have you tried
1. Reinstalling HTC Sync and Drivers
2. Rebooting and Hard Reset
3. Flashing Custom ROM's
4. Using Different Data Cables
But still NO LUCK !!!
First Let's Check Whether it's a Hardware Problem (NOT NECESSARY)
1. Go into Bootloader and then to Fastboot Menu
2. Connect your Phone to PC
3. Now the Phone should Read as "Fastboot USB"
4. Try this Fastboot Command "FASTBOOT DEVICES"
5. If your Phone is Shown in the list ,It's Just a Software Problem and Continue Reading this thread
.If not ,then it's mostly a Hardware Issue
Solution:
1. Download PDANet on your phone (NOT THE APK) (This is for USB Tethering)
2. Connect your Phone using Data cable with Windows Logged On (Nothing will happen)
3. Restart your PC (DONT remove your Phone)
4. As soon as PC starts up ,you'll see the Menu on your Phone that used to appear (You'll see Disk Drive,USB Tetheing....)
5. Make Sure USB Debugging is ON
6. When you're logged into Windows, Select Disk Drive from the Menu on your phone
7. Wait and you're Memory Card will be recoginsed on PC
8. Open PDAnet.exe from Memory Card and Install
USB Tethering will now work (If still not working ,go into settings->wireless and networks->mobile networks->access point names and try changing access point ,then try PDANet again)
This WORKED for me ,:good:
So Next time ,Follow Step 2,3,4 and 5
Then After you log on, Choose Anything you want from Menu on Phone.
I doubt USB Tethering will work directly .But you can use it from PDANet.:good:

This is my device details :

Adb worked and now it doesn't

When I first plugged my A9 into my computer I was immediately given a prompt to allow the computer to be used for adb, and proceeded to reboot to download to make sure everything worked before I attempted to unlock the bootloader using HTCdev. With the phone still plugged in the USB debugging symbol is no longer there and I've tried unplugging it, and plugging the cable back into the phone as well as the computer. Tried both ports on my computer, disabled USB debugging and re-enabled it but no dice ?. I'm not sure what to do now, adb devices shows up as empty.

This happens to me from time to time, especially when I'm swapping different devices out a lot.
Go to Device Manager
You should have Android USB Devices > My HTC (this is the ADB device) and Portable Devices > HTC One A9 (this is the MTP device).
You likely only see the MTP device. If so, right-click on it and select "Update Driver Software"
Click on Browse my computer for driver software
Navigate to your HTC device driver folder (in my case it's C:\Program Files (x86)\HTC\HTC Driver\Driver Files\Win7_x64)
Click Next
If you get a message that the best driver is already installed, then click the back button
Select "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"
If you have a device listed as My HTC select that
If you don't, you'll kind of have to play with different things from here. Try unchecking show compatible devices and see if it shows any Android USB devices. You might need to browse for your device drivers again.
Will try that when I get home, thank you very much ☺

Nexus 5 multiple problems

Hi guys, i have a problem with my Nexus 5.
I was trying to flash 7.1.1 with TWRP as allways (i flash roms every time) but i made wipe of the internal storage so now i have any OS installed on my phone. I had this problem sometimes but now i am using windows 10 and my PC don`t recognise my phone. I have tried a lot of ways to solve it but anything works. What can i do? it is possible to flash a rom with an otg cable?
Thanks and sorry for my english!
EDIT: when i open a cmd window it says "waiting for device". I tried in another pc and it says "its not any internal or external command".
Tried different USB cables and USB 2.0 ports? Tried another computer?

Yes both, but nothing.
So nothing shows up in device manager when you connect the phone in fastboot mode?

Nothing.
I have an otg but when i'm into recovery mode, i select "mount" and then "usb otg" but it doesn't select.
Sounds like there could be something wrong with the phone's internal USB flex cable.

I tried in another pc and it works, but when i open a cmd window it says "its no internal o external command" so idk
When connected to the other computer, what device shows up in Windows' Device Manager?
Wipe the internal storage again, this could help. Flash factory image through fastboot if you can/want. this should fix it
Well, i tried in another pc and i have a new problem. Now i go to device manager and it appears how "unkown device". I tried to update drivers but nothing.
Few weeks ago i had problems with de power button and i had to repair it. The service centre changed the button and the usb port i think, because it seems to be a little diferent. I think it could be the problem.
Hi,
I have the same issue when using Windows 10.
1 - Connect your phone to the PC
2 - Grand it file transfer from your phone notification if it isn't an automatic connection.
3 - Open Device Manager on your PC.
4 - Scroll down look for Universal Serial Bus Controller.
5 - You will see and unknown device with exclamation mark.
6 - Right click it and Update driver.
7 - Select "Browse my computer for driver software".
8 - key in this "C:\Windows\INF" or simply copy-paste it from here.
9 - Next
10 - You will be displayed with list of compatible drivers. (if not, tick show compatible drivers).
11 - Select "USB Composite Driver"
12 - Done. your device will be connected.
13 - Profit..!!
Did the repair shop use an OEM USB replacement? Was the USB port giving problems before being replaced?
Problem solved. The usb plug was badly welded.
Thanks for your help!
