Good morning ... Well, that ... every time I try to install modern combat or gameloft game, after downloading and installing it at the time, I get that message. I have researched and say you have to delete data from Google playstore and services ... But nothing ... It does not work. Any ideas??
Well, I think it's somehow caused by trying to download big app. I'm trying to install maps.me and unfortunately I'm getting no error code - Google Play just crashes.

Have you found a solution to this? Whenever I try to install Sygic the Play Store downloads around 50% and then just disappears .
Afterwards I have to start Play Store three times to get it running again, it will crash the first two times...
I'm on an NXT-AL10, btw, with B173.
Actually I have Go to settings, apps, Google Play Store, permissions and add permission to storage. Solved my issue.

Recently got the unlocked Galaxy S6 but every time I've tried to download large apps (Asphalt 8 and Monument Valley) from the Play Store I've been getting an error 905. I've erased cache and cleared data from the Play Store but it keeps doing it. Had to refund Monument Valley, in fact. Any thoughts on how to fix this? I've got the 32GB version by the way. I've searched for this error but it seems to only have affected old devices where internal memory was a problem.
Edit: I solved this by keeping the screen on while downloading and installing Asphalt 8 and not using the device till it had finished installing.

Is it the Play Store being FC'd due to RAM being full?

Yeah i think so poor ram management and 5.0 memory leak issues all have summed up hoping a fix soon in 5.1

In my case the Play Store was not force closing, no. But I figured it could be related to memory leak issues since everything worked when I kept the play store on top and did not use the phone. And yes, hopefully it will be fixed with the 5.1 update.
Edit: I am the OP and have just remembered my old account.
Sometimes my Galaxy freezes and reboots when I install or update something from Play Store, I think that is a RAM issue.
i have the same issue...i can't download mortal kombat x!! are you disable screen sleep?
I have a completely different phone (LG Optimus L1 II, Android 4.1.2) and I found this thread while looking for the solution. It could be a problem with the current version of google play, since it happens on different devices with different android versions.
Edit: I found more threads about this by looking at the google results for the error 905 on the last week:
google.c om/search?q=google+play+error+905&tbs=qdr:w
(this is my second post, so I can't add links yet. remove the space on the .com)
I think that doing any system-related thing (installing an application, enabling root for an app, etc) makes the error show up
clear the cache and data of your play store app, and then restart your device. you can find detailed guide and explanation about this on http://technogiga.com/how-to-solve-error-905-in-android/
I've got the same problem on my Note 4 on KitKat... So it's probably something with the Play Store not Android.

In my case this did not work, however, keeping the device awake and staying on the same screen worked. I guess it's a memory problem.

Might be a Samsung problem.
If you read the thread, someone had the problem on their G3. So obviously it's either Android or Play Store causing the problem. I'm guessing it's the Play Store because it's happening across different Android versions.
Error 905
This happens after the new playstore update if we keep the screen on and stay on the play store the download completes
Tried with the old playstore version this problem doesnt arises :crying:
I am on Android 5.0.2 (LG G2) and the same thing happened to me. I followed the advise of keeping the screen on and keeping Play Store in the foreground and it worked.
Ive had this problem since day one, i try everthing, clearing cache, reinstalling the playstore, removing my google account, hard reset the phone, everything and after all that and the tests that i made i came up to notice that the problem was the memory, once the phone reach a high memory usage the playstore will close and the download will fail, if u keep ur phone with out ram consuming apps ull be able to download any apps without the need to keep the screen on and the playstore active.. so this an android problem to me and the memory management on lolipop.
so what's the best solution?

Theres no actual sulotion, u cant just try to clear the memory and then try to download the apps u need or u can just leave the screen on and put the playstore on top of all and dont use the phone at all. untill the app that u need has finish downloading.
same problem here on s6 and z3... so its a playstore issue
i have the same error
unable to download mortal kombat x too
Does anyone have an issue getting PvZ2 to install on their Honor 8? I had it installed, but then a recent update to PvZ2 wouldn't install properly. I removed the app and attempted to install it again, but the play store just closes when it reaches 99% downloaded. Not sure what is going on, but if you have the PvZ2 installed can you tell me what version of Google Play Store and Google Play Services are installed?
My phone is the AL10 (Chinese version) and I had to manually install the Google Play Store and Google Play Services. I have plenty of storage (45GB available) and I have reset the play store and play services by clearing the cache and data.
I think I should have mentioned that all other apps are installing fine through the play store. I only have an issue with PvZ2.

This is very strange. Try clearing PvZ2 folders in /Android/data then try to install again.

It seems that I was able to pull down the apk from apk mirror and get it installed that way. Not sure why I didn't think of that before. Not sure what's happening with Google Play, but that game is around 650MB so maybe that is causing an issue.

So I just used Google pay for transaction without passing safety net. I thought that you can't use Google pay without passing safety net.
Do you have both false or only one? Do you use xposed?
I am just before checking myself.

You used it to pay in a store or online? I think it's only pay in stores that's blocked.
Xposed will absolutely block pay in store.
I set up Google pay first then I installed xposed later, but I still manage to pay in store for my shopping. However, eventually Google pay stopped working and I had to uninstall xposed to get it working again.

dont you think that google might block them from connecting to their servers etc so it might not be that possible after all
That's what I read, this phone will now able to connect to google calendar or google drive which rely on google service.
Of course, Huawei has Chinese apps alternative as what China people using in China.
mate 30 pro will have android 10 though

I was planing to do the same since its quite easy to install both gplay services and gplay store , but the problem is the phone is not going to get any future android updates. whats going to happen when android 11 comes out.
Andoid is open source so i guess we will get updates, i am going to wait on Huawei to clarify a bit first
Android Open Source Project, AOSP is free to use for anybody. Huawei pay Google about 5$ per device and preinstall Google Apps and Services.
You will get a Huawei Mate 30 with Android 10, EMUI but without Google Play, Gmail, Youtube, etc.
It is Android, so you can install it and use it, like any other Android device. On Xiaomi Mi Store (chinese version) there is a Google Installer.
I understand Google Mobile Services is easy but how about Google Pay and over-riding thaty SafetyNet thing?
I remember there was this work around using MAGISK?? But do u have to root in order for it to work?
confirm can install

Mate 30 fingerprint is safety net compliant
Its fairly easy to install gapps on it
Most of New released models where already pre certified, as this happened before the ban..
Wanda Mobile, a reputable UK retailer, is now selling this phone "with Google Play Store installed".

It will work like any other Android phone except it does not have the licensed Google Mobile Service (GMS) built-in; there is an app that one can download to install the google framework that will install Google assistance which will allow Google Play Store to be installed in the phone. Because the phone does not have GMS so many apps in Google Play Store will not work. One will have to get from alternative source like APKmirror
Ok Guys. I have a M30 and it has not been easy to install GMS on it. As you know LZPlay app is dead. And installing framework, services and play Store is not working. I get force close after the install.
Any thoughts on this? (bootloader locked and unrooted)

Hey, Boas Super Dragão!
Unfortunately it´s not been easy to install gapps since the LZPLay backdoor wich was using undocumentede APIS has been closed. I have a Mate 30 Pro with Bootloader unlocked and no root. I tried a bunch of suspicious GMS installers, and tried to intsall the services and framework manually with all the available permissions and the result is always the same. App force closes.
