i ordered one and i have been on it since last week. Its a great device.
Got Mine Yesterday (LG Intuition)
Ok so I have been using the Samsung Galaxy Nexus for the last year and love it. However Verizons connectivity in my area sucks and the radio chip used in said device sucks. Runs 20-25 Dbm lower than other phones. So after 4 replacements Verizon let me do and early upgrade and I grabbed the LG Intuition. I LOVE it, the hardware that is. Needs root, LG's flavor of android sucks. The two apps i use the most, Entune for my Toyota and FoxFi are blocked and will not work. Battery took forever to charge but seems to last awhile. Also most automotive chargers even the 2AMP ones...the phone will say its slow charging due to lack of current, but it does charge. The signal strength on this phone is awesome, 30Dbm higher than my nexus and about 3-5 Dbm higher than the Razor MAXX, droid 4, and Rezound. But, I don't like anything LG put on or the bloatware. So the bottom line is this...this phone will be PERFECT rooted and with a vanilla ICS or Jelly Bean.
So, until I can root and flash a vanilla Android this phone is going back. Hopefully soon, i'm going to miss it already.
Anyone rooted LG intuition yet?

In case you haven't done this yet:

Is there going to be a forum section for this device. I have root now but there doesn't seem to be any roms.
That's it finally managed to sell my O3D for $258. It was like a white elephant after i bought my S3. Never LG again.
Thanks again to wonderful devs who helped make it better than $#@$#@ LG .
i agree with you 100%
i am also looking forward to sell mine ,,
Never again Lg Probably i will try S3 or a china mtk with 4 cores( if i ever get rid mine)
I have to say this here, if LG does not give the G2/Optimus G2 a software upgrade to take advantage of the new UI found in the G3, and some LG features in the next 7months after the T-Mobile G3, this is bad bad news.
Yes, the G2 has KnockOn and KitKat now. If the G2 never gets the improved UI of the G3, when the G4 comes out, G3 owners will be left without features. LG needs to support their devices, and I hope they continue.
I love my G3, but I really wish this was a new Nexus phone, because G2 and G3 users may have to wait ages for Android L after whenever it comes out.
Rule #1 of buying a new phone... Never buy it for what it COULD be... The phone functions perfectly fine on stock firmware... And there is only a few things in the LG G3 that have more function than what the G2 comes with now..... Its a pretty big upgrade physically, but not too much under the hood.

^^^^THIS.
LG has done much better at supporting their devices than Motorola. Just ask all of us that bought Cliq, Cliq2, and the other model (I can't recall it's name). On purchasing the device it had a release date for gingerbread. The date was moved back for 2+ years only to have Motorola state it device was unable to run gingerbread. Within two months Motorola released a exact clone of the Cliq2 in Korea.
Leaving all stock phones on android 1.6, which is a huge difference to 2.3.
Manufacturers are in the business to make $$$$, at some point they will drop updates. If a user gets 18 months of updates, consider ourselves lucky. Just my two cents.

While I agree with you, LG is also just as guilty, Motorola has stepped up their updating as of late, hopefully it will last with Lenovo. I have never seen an update for LG F6 a nice midranger. I feel in the Android 4+ era the manufacturer should support a minimum of 12 months or at least 1 Android upgrade. With flagships this should be 18 months, especially since flagships have stagnated in the last 3 generations. I don't see how they can keep up these incremental updates and expect people to shell out $500+ unsubsidized or subsidized. I guess they assume whoever couldn't upgrade last year, will this year, but when the following update is once again nearly the same performance, I myself would not upgrade and hope people are smart enough to see that. Luckily thanks to xda we don't have too much to worry about, but I feel the manufacturers are shooting themselves in the foot. If this trend continues I see people going for the upper level bang-for-buck midrangers and upgrading those every 2 years. Just my thoughts, sorry for the rant
FYI it's not just Motorola, all manufacturers are guilty. My daughters last two phones have not had one update. One an HTC and one an LG.

Hope our flex2 will get the updata~
http://en.yibada.com/articles/59349...lex-2-lg-g-flex-lg-g4-lg-g3-lg-g-pad-10-1.htm
some website said we will, but no official information about the update
Doubt it
Lg is unpredictable..... Lol
All i want is my unlocked blootloader, 6.0 will be cool, but all i can pray for is that Lg blesses us with a unlocked bootloader.
It's their fastest phone, but the chance of M is probably 20/80. Chance of an unlocked bootloader, 5/95. I'm curious about a stagefright 2.0 patch.

The article mentioned that the LG Flex may not get Marshmallow, the LG G Flex2 will get Marshmallow, no doubt about that.
And yes they hopefully fix the Stagefright 2.0 bugs too.

Do you have an LG source for your certainty that the Flex 2 will get M? LG has a pretty poor track record -- the first gen Flex never got Lollipop.

I hope you're wrong about 20/80 for Marshmallow. The phone is only ~6 months old and abandonment by LG would be a pretty miserable business decision. As far as unlocking bootloader, we'll more likely get that unofficially as a result of developer effort (highly unlikely without some LG tech leak) but overall the odds are probably even worse than 5%, especially for those of us with AT&T model.
If there will not be a 6.0 update for this device, i'm gonna buy a freaking iphone and never look back on android ... srsly, i'd be done with it and its fragmentation bs forever. Vendorlock me to apple crap.

Intuitively, logically, and reasonably we should expect Marshmallow and the rumors floating around on the android sites are a good sign, but personally I won't bank on it until LG puts out something official. The original Flex was release only 9 weeks earlier than the Flex 2 the prior year (Oct 27 2013 versus Jan 5 2015) and the first Flex never saw Lollipop.

The Flex and G2 had the same SoC, yet LG abandons it with no apology to users. I can't even find a reason for why they'd abandon a phone with those specs while it still had KitKat. Heck. I don't even understand why KitKat never came to the ATT LG Optimus G despite having the S4 Pro.

I see where you are coming from here, but I think that the flex 2 is much better and more popular than the original flex. I don't fully understand why the deep price cut, but it will dramatically increase sales no doubt.
Sidebar: Thanks again to help me confirm I had bad sensors. I sent the phone to LG for repair under warranty and they replaced the entire screen. When I got the phone back it was updated to 5.1.1, so now I don't have to worry about trying to coerce an OTA (sweet!). Battery life is stellar so far and no heat issues. Marshmallow would be a real treat (pun intended) on this phone, so I will stay hopeful that we'll get it (eventually)
Anyway if LG doesn't keep his word, I won't buy his device anymore
6.0
LG Flex 2 IS getting Marshmallow, U can bet your S'mores on it.

Guys. And gals? I am needing to snag an upgrade. I have note 4 ...The real reason is to get my bill down with the new pricing on easy pay. But on 16th they will go up 10 bucks. So ive been searching hard. 810 rumors are rampid. Id rather ask you users. Has the throttling stopped since the updates? Was this really the korean model? Or? How does the screen look compared to note 4? I ask because i love amoled. I also like the fact the flex is not seen much in the hand around my parts,of town. Lol. I see development is lacking. Guess no loki? Wonder why sprint would sell the flex 2 with locked bootloader? Oh well. 5.1.1 and up should fix all the lag. Please if you feel you might have some front facts on all this i hope u would give me all your opinions based on ownership. Thanks.

ive owned alot of phones in the last few years includes iphone 6+,iphone 6, oneplus one, lg g3,note 3,lg g2 and down the line. And im guessing it was korean bloat along with 2gb ram...? cause i have the att gflex 2 with h950pr rom installed and this phone flies and i have not seen any problems with performance. this is my favorite phone so far, just really like the design and speed. :good:

Sweet. So like myself youve had plenty of latest flagships. How crisp is the screen? Any pentile effect? Or is it as sharp as say note 3 or 4?
Sent from my SM-N910P using XDA Free mobile app
First thing I noticed was how much better the screen looked imo then the note 3 not as good as g3 sharpness but close and colors are better since its amoled.
Hey guys.
I found out that G3 is confirmed to receive Nougat update in February 2017.
Considering our phones' stronger hardware do you think we are going to receive the update too? I know the Spring and Att versions havent got MM yet but still.
I think it would be a pity if LG upgraded a SD801 devices and not our 810.
I think G3 with Nougat is a bit false information. Because they stated that they didn't release graphics drivers for SD800/SD801
Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
Well yeah I think youre right. But I so thrive for 7.0 or root on MM,I wouldnt go back to lollipop just for gaming.
It is so horrible that a flagship like this has no root and bad gaming performance that it almost seems unreal
All we Need is root - or hardwaremodification with some heatpipes and stuff
Its certainly false alarm, since SD 801 was discontinued by Qualcomm so it wont get Nougat any time, same goes to Nexus 5, SGS5 and many others. But there is still chance tho, SD 810 is still supported and after G5 fiasco LG might be better to customers. But the chance is really, really small,if we do get Nougat,i think its gonna be in H2 2017,so long time on MM ahead.

Its fiasco for me, not bad phone, but its not available in most parts of Europe, design is not that good and built quality lacks in modular part. LG can do better.

Well its HD2 is legend and is showing what a will of community can do. However, reason behind LGs flagship not getting Nougat is simple, LG dont give a f... as they dont do only phones like HTC for example and they dont earn much as division. That and lack of root tools of LG tools which leads to this situation.
I just saw the HTC Bolt specs which was announced today. Its running Android 7.0 and has exactly the same Chipset, CPU and GPU as Flex 2. So, from hardware point of view there is absolutely no problem that we receive also 7.0 at some time. The question is does they want to upgrade it or not.
Everyone who thinks Flex 2 is getting Android N needs psychiatric consultation.
Im just hopeful here
But still im waiting for black friday to buy another phone.A G5 or Oneplus 3,I cant stand G Flex anylonger,I mean..its a great phone overall but gaming on MM is awful and is not a suitable phone for a power user anyway
I would wait a bit. S7 will get cheaper next year, HTC 10 also, well every phone will get cheaper. G5 isnt bad phone, but im afraid of support, Oneplus 3 is great but you cant actually buy it anymore, only 1+3T. Im checking for HTC 10,it looks very well and its metal,i dont want glass phone anymore after Xperia.

HW isnt problem, Nexus 6P has mostly the same specs and has Nougat for a while, Bolt too. Its only on OEM when and if they publish update. But im worried they wont, original G Flex had same history, got Lollipop after hard times with KK and thats it. Small spark of hope still exists tho,at least until LG will deny update officially.

Yeah, thats what im talking about. Its all about OEM and LG isnt really good when it comes to updates,i dont have experience with G series, but G Flex support is awful, but who knows, maybe they can prove me wrong.
