REBATE INFO: T-Mobile VR/Netflix & BOGO - Updates or Status Change after Submission?
Hey everyone, can people start posting once they receive approval? For example, once you get an approval email, please post date submitted and the date you received approval for the VR/Netflix promo and the BOGO promo.
I submitted my VR/Netflix forms on 3/7/16 and 3/11/16 and still under review, submitted the BOGO on 3/11/16 and status is received.
Update: (3/11/2016): Submitted.
Update (4/26/16): BOGO: Looks like people started getting their approvals today, I myself got an email and verified the approval online.
Update: (5/24/2016): Got the mailed notification from t-mobile promo site.
Update: (5/28/2016): Card Received in the mail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Most of us haven't even received the phone yet. Mine was pre-ordered and *hopefully* will be receiving it today. Submitting to the promo will be the third thing that I do. (Right after opening the box and fully charging the phone.)

I know that it takes weeks, I am not expecting it to be fullfiled in a few days, I just wrote that as an example as some people in other threads have already started receving authorizations, in no apparent order.
The problem is that if some error does occur, it will be well after the return period and you are left to figure it out on your own, t-mobile will simply refer you to Samsung.
Sammy makes great hardware , but their customer service is completely outsourced and is pretty terrible compared to other hardware manufacturers.

Is there a separate form to fill out for the Netflix promo? The sheet I got from Tmobile said just to fill out the VR form on the promotions page and I will get my Netflix code with the approval email.

My status on the VR headsets actually changed today to "Fulfillment Pending" I did one on the 8th and one on the 11th

No there isn't for t-mobile the gear vr and netflix promo are done in one submission through the samsungpromotions page just keep an eye on your email for a separate one with your netflix code.

That's correct. I just checked mine and is fulfillment pending. I submitted 3/11

That must have just changed. I had to take a screenshot of my receipt and was wondering if that was holding me up so I emailed them a couple of days ago.... Never got a reply. I am now at "Fulfillment pending" as well so I guess I am on track.

I got this email from them below. So now its just a waiting game.

We might be all under the false assumption that "Fulfillment Pending" actually means something, as everyone's status has changed to that.
Until you get a confirmation email that it has been accepted or a netflix code in another email I wouldn't take it as fact that it is waiting to ship.

Fulfillment pending means that it's awaiting shipment. This is the step after approval.

Just curious, how do you know this for sure, I would really like that to be true? I am reading other forums and people are saying that as soon as they submit that is the message they are seeing now as well. Unless people are reviewing these submission asap, I am not sure how that is possible.
In any case, I hope you are correct and I am wrong.

I bought an Edge 2 days ago and registered it yesterday and it already says Fulfillment Pending. Doubt it was approved in less than a day.

[INFO] Vodafone UK Orders

I've just received an email to tell me the phone is out of stock and delivery will be 2-4 weeks!
I think that seems to be a stock mail that goes out after a pre-order,
i had the same, they did the same thing with the launch of the original nexus.
i called Vodafone to make sure that was the case and was assured that it was....still, you never know, the woman may have been lying to get me off the phone!
im gonna expect mine on the 19th but i wont be holding my breath just in case
I sent them an e-mail about not receiving my credit check response and they replied saying it was not in stock but the credit check was fine.
As long as i have it by Thursday i'll be happy.
I've had a reply back from VodafoneUK on Twitter..
We haven't been made aware of any stock delays. If there is any further info on this i'll be sure to let you know ^SM

Yeah when I ordered mine they told me it would basically go straight out as it arrived to them so they will be 'out of stock' for a while, or at least until preorders are filled.
Yes, I got the "2-4 weeks" e-mail too but assumed it's just a generic e-mail.
When I spoke to Vodafone yesterday before placing my order, I asked if they had sold out of all their initial pre-order allocation. They said no, and that I would definitely get my phone on the 19th May.
My desire was out of stock when I pre ordered. Had to wait 2wks. Hope u guys get yours so u can tell us what you think.

Peeps who ordered online usually get screwed when it comes to delivery time as it's like a different sales division. Typically online team have so many phones to sell, but the telephone team also get so many phones to sell and the high street shops have so many. They WON'T dip into one another stock levels.
I got stung when pre-ordering the HD2 early on, only to find, people ringing customer services on the day of release were receiving their phone the very next day. Infuriated, I cancelled my online order, as I got a sorry we are out of stock email. And re-ordered by telephone. Was a bit of a ball-ache doing this on the phone, as you had to speak to different sales teams on the phone.
My advice is to keep ringing the telephone team and when they say they have stock, get it ordered.
I'm going after work on Thursday, hopefully make it before it closes at 17:30!
I managed to pre-order mine over the phone, only had the confirmation to say that my order had been processed! Hoping to get the dispatch email tomorrow! Last exam tomorrow, so I can play with my new toy on Thursday

No, getting mine from shop too.
I thought I would have had an email by now as I thought it was going to take a day or 2 from email to me getting hold of it...and they said I would get it *by* the 19th
I think I'm going to wait until it's out in the Netherlands to see if the rumour of 16GB internal memory is correct. I'm highly sceptical but you never know.

Samsung promo issues

Anyone having issues with the Samsung Promo?
After I registered, I got the page to buy the $99 but when I clicked on it, the page took forever to load and it failed. There is no way for me to get it back, I tried to register again and got IMEI & MAC address error being not recognized. I've been on hold with Samsung Support for the past 1 hr waiting for someone to take my call.

Got a solution. I had the same issue. Download the Shop samsung app from the play store, and you can submit through the app, make sure to e-mail yourself the receipt or something because you'll have to attach it from the app itself. It goes through!

I did it through the app. Never got the email but when I go to MyPromotions, it says it's approved but I don't have any link to buy the bundle.

Yeah, I'm having the same issue as you. As soon as I run the app and login, it says the same with no link to buy, very frustrating
It took me 2 hrs to get it to finally work and I ended up having to download the app. At first it kept telling me my imei number was invalid but the app fixed that I guess

Their support sucks on top of it. Wasted 2 hours, got a rep then transferred me, only for my call to drop again.
chat was no help & finally talked to a CS rep, I was told to try again later since the website is getting pounded and if i get the same error, to call in again later tonight.

Got rejected because my receipt wasn't clear enough. Resubmitted it never got a email. Called in waited just short of 2 hours talked to cs. She told me it showed approved on her end. Checked my status in the shop samsung app about 2 hours later, and it had the link to buy the $99 deal.
Never did get the approval email, but did get my order confirmation now...
Hot my approval email last night with a link to buy tjhe 99 package.i used the 30% coupon and ordered the keyboard cover with it.

When I registered my IMEI for the pre order promotion, I received an email welcoming me to Samsung Galaxy S8 that had a code for 30% off in the Samsung Store. I'm not going to use it, but I don't know if it's the same for everyone or specific to me but someone can try it if they want.

Does your receipt say it was preordered? The purchase by date was the 20th so I doubt it. Try uploading your receipt and see what happens. The worst that can happen is they say no.
Funny thing is, my promo box will be here tomorrow. Per the Note 7, it took 2 months to get the free gift. Thus time around, took 4 days, that's wild.
I'd say try it, I'd be willing to bet it'll work. Like the previous post mentioned, doesn't hurt to try. Just use the Reciept or the first page from your Lease Agreement, ehich is what I use for these things. I'd be willing to bet it'll work.

Yep, pretty awsome. I registered on the 19th, which is the same day I got the device. It was shipped via FedEx
I was shocked myself, given how long it took when the Note 7 was released.
Also, it's being shipped from Indiana and there shipping it out with Overnight Shipping.

Some really fast shipping either way. Indiana is next door to me, but I haven't gotten a label notification. I'm not overly trusting of this right now but samsung has my money.

Nah, unfortunately I didn't choose the extra $99 bundle, I wish I had tho.
My pre-order was thru Sprint and I'm not sure if we had the choice of the $99 bundle.
But you would think if you did pay the extra $99 for that separate bundle, they would ship to you earlier, than someone like myself that didn't pay for the other bundle.

Yeah I registered for the $99 bundle on the 19th and I am with Sprint. Was able to pay for it on the 20th. No label still. It's just weird their website says "order sent" cause to me that means it should be shipping. Samsung is annoying.
Weird fedex hasn't shown any movement, but then again it is fedex.
So I took you guys advices and did it. And to say that, it freaking work!!! I've been denied the first because of the wrong IMEI and WiFi Mac. So I gave it another try and got approved just this moment. So I'm currently waiting on the tracking number and when it'll ship by. All to thank to you guys!!

I'm not sure. I have been on the beta builds as soon as they launched, and was getting OTA updates as well.
Amazon sells it $100 cheaper every day. Maybe there will be a better price from Amazon or BestBuy for a short of time. Stay tuned.
I received my $100 off code after signing up. It's only valid until June 7th though.

Maybe that 24/7 support is for calls
For example, when I ordered on Samsung.com(couple of weeks ago), I received an email saying "Thanks for your order"...after about an hour or so, there was another email, which is important and it stated "here is your invoice...". < When I get this email, it means that my order went properly through their system and all is good.

Usually the "order confirmed" email doesn't come, if there is a problem and instead comes email explaining why it didn't go through. With Note 10 I ordered some accessories as well and 2 cases had to be shipped with the phone, but wireless portable battery charger had to be delivered on Aug 14th(at least the status showed that). When I contacted Samsung support, person told me that there are many orders and promised to ship it ASAP. So that particular accessory ended up shipping on the 18th and should arrive on Thursday
