Can someone please tell me, what would be the worst case scenario if I use extended battery from an ebay seller from china?
OK, I know it can blow up. But beside that. What else can go wrong?
I am using HTC Desire HD, which we all know the battery if just a pice of garbage. I have bought a pack of item for HD and there were also two 1500mAh batteries included.
If I use the external battery charger and leave it to charge over night and it does not blow up, does that mean, that the battery wold do just fine in the phone?
I presume mAh does not have any effect on the phone itself? Or does it?
What would happen with battery stats? How would that behave if I swap the batteries. When one depletes I change it for a full one and so on?
Any other battery issues I should be aware of?
Somehow when i plug my phone in... with it off... at night.... in the morning it shows a low battery alert.
This just started after I changed my rom to undead's Senseless.
I do notice that the new Anker battrey is a smidge thinker that stock.
Any clues?

This is a recovery image issue. If you do this with the OEM battery it'll do the same thing. Your best bet is to turn on airplane mode and turn the screen off.

Airplane mode? Ok I'll try it.
What does airplane mode do anyway?
Airplane mode cuts off wireless communications.
Not sure if it prevents 911/emergency calls, but i'd imagine so.
Hello,
Is there any 2500 or 3000 mAh battery available for nexus 4? Or A power case?
Also, what does a power case do? Does it charge phone's battery or phone just uses power case's battery after its own battery charge diminishes? Simply, how does a power case work?
Thanx..
To answer your questions in order: just the external battery packs you can get generically, no, it wraps the phone in a protective skin with a battery in the plastic, it charges the phone battery until the power skin battery is dead then the internal battery takes over, see previous line.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium
I'm charging at the moment but I'm only doing some light web browsing. Is anyone having the same issue? BTW I am plugged into wall.
Is your screen really bright, or maybe you have background apps running? I usually just put mine to Power Saving mode and let it charge if I need it charged up because apparently my usage tends to be equal or greater than the charging from the wall..

Okay, cool.
I was a bit scared that something with my Note was "defective" lol
Previously having owned the zerolemon case for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 I knew what to expect from them and they didn't disappoint. The Pixel XL is a great phone but the battery life leaves something to be desired. Zerolemon to the rescue!
The case comes in the standard packaging with the bag and the box with the case inside. Installation is super simple, just slide the phone on to the USB C port on the battery/case and slide the rubber surround over it. The battery has an on off switch on the back and 4 LEDs for battery status.
I charged the battery for 12 hours as per the instructions and put the phone in. With a heavy load on the phone, lots of screen usage and the VPN running I got a little over 24 hours on the battery.
There are two ways to use the battery case you can either leave it on and trickle charge the phone constantly like I did or drain the phone down and turn it on each time to charge it.
The pixel XL has bottom firing speakers and zerolemon addressed this by diverting the sound through the front of the case. You don't lose any volume at all. The case charges via USB C and the port is linked straight through so you can charge/sync as needed.
Zerolemon is known for quality products and great value and this is no exception of you're looking for a way to extend your phones life when you're away from a charger this is it.
Case will not turn off until battery drains.
Any ideas on why this is happening or how to shut the case off? Even when I pull the phone out of the battery case it is still charging.

I have not had that issue. the phone doesn't sleep while in the case, even though it's off, but as soon as I take it out things return to normal
