i made a custom rom for galaxy pro
deodxed and rooted & init.d support for GB 2.3.6
and we will use galaxy mini cwm 5.0.2.6 (it's work 100%)
and also custom boot.img
How to use cwm?
use odin to flash cwm recovery and boot.img
as one package and don't forget to use BENNETT_v1.0_2.ops
we can't use cwm by volume or home button
Q=UP : T=DOWN : Z=ENTER : POWER=BACK
AND YOU CAN MAKE BACKUP AND RESTORE
to flash the custom rom you have to mount system and cache and data
after flash the rom you have to make wipe data /reset and wipe cache and wipe dalvik cache

I had:
1. Odin v4.38.
2. Stock firmware (Android 2.3.6) rooted by "universal_gb_root_v19.zip".
3. Installed application "Quick Boot (Reboot)" (You can find in Google Play Store).
I did (my way):
1. Power off phone.
2. Long press "Q"+"Power button" (you will see picture with text "Downloading...").
3. Press button "OPS" and select BENNET file.
4. Press button "BOOT" and select "boot.tar.md5" (you will see error, but it's normal).
5. Press button "One Package" and select "recovery.tar.md5".
6. Select checkbox "One Package".
7. Press button "Start" and wait.

So that means that no more Wifi fr the Galaxy PRO, so is that no worth, is it?
So flashing that ROM, is just a waste coz no more Wifi mmmm I don't know what to do... D:

So you jsut have the CWM and not a Custom ROM you have the offical and is root, I need some help i don't find anything fr this Smartphone, I had already Flask Xperia's and the SGS that I had but this one... I have no idea D:

cwm is working fine but after following the steps before and after flashing i am not able to acquire root privelages for any root app(titanium backup) please help me with this:crying:

i installed micromax a80 clockmod recovery in my gtb 7510 (galaxy pro)........its installed perfectly but when i re-started my.....phone......then it didn't came in any mode i.e not in download...or even in recovery mode........!
it is in dead condition.......plz tell me what 2 do ...??
because.....i almost tried every thing......but its not getting on....!

From where you got the idea to install clockwork mode of MICROMAX mobile into out galaxy pro??
There is 1st rule of flashing that roms,firmwares,recoveries made for some different phone should not be flashed into some different phone you are using.
So remember that from now on.
Now,
Your current problem.
You are sayin that is does not even start right?
If you connect it to charger, does it show battery logo on screen?
Like the logo we see when phone is switched off & we put it in charging?

i kinda screwed up my Galaxy pro too..i flashed a false rom now..i cant even get my battery charging,download mode etc screens..
but when i hold volume dowm + power+ Q keys for 10 seconds..the phone detects on a computer..all i get is samsung CDMA technologies,modem and serial diag port...also samung usb composite port...
Odin detects the com mpping ..when i start to flash..the process gets stuck on setup connection....
adb doesnt detect it...
power +e and power + r also detected on pc..but no display on pc....
how will i restore my phone...its partially detected on pc!!!

Well, m inclined to think that ur device is bricked...
If odin cant flash the stock firmware, then i think there is very less you can do.
Is your warranty still available?
I mean is your galaxy pro still under 1 year of purchase?
If so, then you can immediatly rush to samsung customer service centre for best solution.
If you want to try something by yourself,
Then there is 1 method.
I read about it long long ago.
So not sure of it.
It was called something like "usg jig" or "jtag"..not sure though..u can google it if you want to search more on it..
Bt my advice would be to go to customer care if it is in 1 yr of purchase..

well im out of warrenty..and the customer care people say they have to replace the whole motherboard whch costs to 3500Rs..

Well, 2 of my frends had their phone bricked..but both were in warranty..so they got device replacement/mother-board replacement for free..
N i knw its very hard to find jtag in india..
N also, i agree that though flashing is software issue, customer care ppl nly do mother-board replacement nly..
N somehow that works..
BTW, what exact error you get when you try to flash with odin?

[Q] How to reflash a tablet (Onda V712) that won't boot or go into recovery mode?

Hello all
I have a peculiar problem with my Onda V712. I'm hoping that you guys may be able to help me out.
The tablet was working fine and was 90% charged. I was having some issues with my google account so I decided to delete it and set it up again. After deleting the google account I switched off the tablet. When I switched it on again a white android bot came on the screen and nothing beyond that. I waited for almost 30 minutes but there was no progress. The tablet wouldn't boot up beyond the white android bot. I rebooted it several times but no luck. I have tried the following so far-
1. let the battery drain completely by leaving it switched on. The white android bot was on all the time. Then I charged the tablet for 6 hours and tried to boot but the issue persists.
2. Tried the reset button several times with no luck.
3. Tried to get into recovery mode by holding the home button and then pressing/tapping the power button. The tablet doesn't go into recovery. It just shows the white android bot and there is no progress after that.
4. Downloaded the latest firmware from the onda site (I have version 2 so I downloaded the appropriate firmware). Unzipped the contents of the zipped file (total 5 files after deleting the instructions file) to a formatted sd card. Inserted the sd card onto the tablet while the tablet was switched off. Then tried to boot via the sd card by pressing the home button and then the power button as suggested in the onda manual (which was in chinese). But it would just power up with the white android bot and wouldn't do anything beyond that.
I am not sure what I can do to revive this tablet. BTW, when I connect the charger to the tablet I can see the animated battery indicator showing that the battery is charging. Also when I connect it to my pc, it shows up as m3-chip in the device manager with an exclamation mark against it. It says that the drivers are not installed correctly or something like that.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

U must download a "right firmware" on ur v712,but how do u know ur v712 is V2??
My v712 is V1 so i download v1-1.4 and its work ,u should try,go to onda.cn (its china but u can use google tranlate)

You can find V1 or V2 from 9 and 10 digit in serial number.
I have (tried to) read about flashing with PC flash tool on www.ondabbs.cn. I have downloaded the tool, but it crashes on my Win7 64 bits machine.... Maybe this can help, if you get it running Google translate makes funny translation of chinese :crying:
I have a V2 version and could not succesfully flash 1.5 firmware. I get a checksum failure on flashing the Patch.zip. I managed to flash it by replacing the Patch.zip by a Patch.zip from www.ondabbs.cn. Now I'm on V2 1.5. But there are some issues with wifi (sometimes is connected, but does not get data). And the screen starts to flicker when battery gets low.
I hope CM10 will be ported to this wonderful tablet soon... Anyone ideas?

The version number can be found in the serial number at the back of the tablet. My tablet says v2 so I downloaded v2 version from onda.cn site. So the firmware is not a problem, getting the tablet to boot into recovery mode is. No matter what I try I can't get beyond the white android bot that appears on the screen when the tab is powered up. I have attached a photoshopped screenshot to show you exactly how my tab looks when I power it up. After that there is no progress.

Thanks for your response. Could you post the links to the pc flash tool and the patch.zip files you have mentioned? I tried to go through the ondabbs site but it's almost impossible to figure out the specific links even after using google translation.

Yes, there is progress, if you can call it that
Used flash tool the drivers installed properly, the tablet was identified. Uploaded the onda firmware into the flash tool and ran the upgrade. It stopped/failed at 65%. Since then my tablet is dead. no ore white android logo or charging indicator, totally dead.

That some progress, but unfortunately no solution... It is difficult to read the translated forum indabbs.cn, but I know there is a lot of discussion on this issue. No possibility to start in bootmenu by pressing home while starting tablet?
Good luck. If i find something new I will post.
Second I still hope someone more skilled than I am, will make a nice CM10 rom for this interesting device
Edit: Maybe a very obvious remark: Is the battery charged? I have read somewhere that during flashing the battery might drain very quickly (and did not charge through USB). Maybe some time on a dedicated charger might help?

1 big tip for all: do not use windows 7 to flash.
it messed up my tablet, because it was not recognised during flashing.
i did the whole thing on xp and it was alive again.

gmail too, but i fixed that by following a tip: enable sync in the account and then it works.

What a good news you got!
Now if you're telling us all truth, and this is original firmware, then this device is now un-brickable. In case of bootloop, we can go to flash mode with some pin and key combination and flash back to stock. And in case bootloader failed to load (hard brick), this device automatically goes to flash mode (kinda fail safe) and we can get back our working device. This is all because of Allwinner A13 board. It's not a work of Datawind.
Another thing is that, I can start development, because I know there way to recover back.
I hope you really got the firmware and you'll upload it soon.

yea there are 2 way for flashing
one is flashing using livesuite (this is flashed with fone off-in download mode)
second is by recovery software
just do as instructed in my link or wait for the datawind to send u the file n flash it using livesuite
*NOTE* u should know that tab can connect to pc when the tab is stuck on loading image *

Yes, that is original firmware for Ubislate7C+, please read my explanation (I have explained and proved that is stock firmware). Also, after flashing that file, you will have no longer Datawind's pre-installed (All sh*ty apps, so nothing to worry about).
That name looks weird because, it was automatically generated by compiler according to boards/configuration/driver etc, and looks like Datawind didn't had time to rename that file.
BTW Flash it, you'll have no problems.

it does have coz its made with few different manufacturers coz the quantity ordered is very high
so it depends on the manufacturer .. what drivers n hardware they use
but the base is all the same like it has allwinner a13 processor
n allwinner13 support 3 different touchpanel drivers too
n 2 wlan driver n 3-4 sensor drivers n 2 diff camera driver
so all the best with using the file
i had one ubislate without sim i almost downloaded 44 flash files n got the right one finally
coz in some touch was not working in some camera in some sensor
but finally got the right file... thats what my experience says
take care n be safe before flashing as u can take the backup of ur device before flashing the given file

2: Start the tab n activate usb debugg in tur tab

AIM : fixing WhiteScreen Errors on s7262
Things we will need:
(attached at the end of post)
file 1: whitefixS7262.rar location : PC
file 2 : ODIN307.zip Location : PC
**Make sure you have USB drivers installed**
Instructions:
STEP 1 :
a:Put Your phone in download Mode by pressing Volume Down +Home+Power key simultaneously.
b: Press Volume UP when Warning screen appears
STEP 2:
a: Extract ODIN307.ZIP and Run Odin 307.exe as Administrator (by right click > Run As> Administrator)
b: Extract whitefixS7262.rar you will get file BOOTSPL_S7262XXUAMJ3.tar
c: Connect Phone with PC
d:Click on PDA select[COLOR="SeaGreen)"] BOOTSPL_S7262XXUAMJ3.tar [/COLOR]

This is Bogus. Help me. First I flashed BOOTSPL_S7262XXUAMJ3 as mentioned, then lot of grey lines started coming on the screen instead of Samsung pro GT S 7262. Then I used odin and flashed the other file which came out of whitefixS7262.rar that is BOOTSPL_S7262JVUANB2.tar. After flashing the second file, my phone just bricked. None of the buttons are working now, neither the phone is getting booted, nor I can go to download mode or any mode. PLEASE HELP AS MY PHONE IS BRICKED AFTER DOING THIS.

I did fix it. It was a long time back and I don't remember all that well. But from what I can recall, the phone is actually functional only the display does blank. So imagine that your display is broken and try to boot into download mode. once you are confident enough that you are in the download mode press vol up and then it should show up on Odin. after this point you just need to flash the stock files. I know I'm late in replying but if you still have the problem, this should help

Hello everyone I'm new to Androids world.My curiosity to customize my stock android landed me in XDA site.I have flashed a cwm recovery in my Samsung GT s 7262 recently but I ended up in white light screen on my recovery.After continous searching for solution I reached a YouTube video of LogansDroid video (link updated) How to fix white screen in Samsung Galaxy star dated Nov 21, 2016) about fixing white screen.In description of video link is provided for cwm recovery to fix white screen yesterday I flashed the zip using Odin 3 & to my surprise I was able to get cwm recovery instead of white screen.Guys give a try u may also be able to fix ur device problem. Don't blame me for anything that happens to ur device.If u r ready to risk u may also gain solution to ur problem.Guys sorry for not able to attach the recovery tar file in that link that's y I have clearly written the videos title so that u can find it easily.I tried to attach the file but it says this cannot be done.Happy Flashing.

atlast i tried to do with usb dongle jig but failed . i didnt got any help from that jig. money wasted
but atlast i gave life to my samsung gts7262 without using any mechanical steps lyk using Riff box jtag.
i done it with my computer and with odin.
soo if u wanna know how to gv life to ur dead phone then reply to my message i may help you.

انا اعلم ان ذلك الحل متاخرا جدا لكننى قمت بنفس الشىء الان ولقد ظهرت الشاشة البيضاء فجربت الملف التانى اختفت الشاشة البيضاء واصبحت الشاشة سوداء
والحل كالتالى
1- اولاقم بتنزيل السوفت وير الاصلى للهاتف
2- تاكد من شحن الهاتف ضعه فقط ع الشاحن واتركه حتى لو نصف ساعة
3-قم بنزع البطارية
4- اضغط ع مفتاح الطاقة+ ومفتاح خفض الصوت+ ومفتاح الرئيسية
5- اضغط مرة اخرى على مفتاح خفض الصوت
6- افتح برنامج اودين كمسئول ثم تاكد من اتصال الهاتف بجهازك الكمبيوتر
7-ضع الروم فى المكان المخصص له pda
8- قم بالضغط على كلمة ابدء
9-انتظر حتى يتم الاكتمال وسوف يعمل الهاتف بشكل طبيعى
اعتذر عن ضعفى فى اللغة الانجليزية يمكنكم الترجمة وسوف اترجم لكم ولكن ببعض الاخطاء اللغوية

1- download the stock room
2-unplug the battery
3- plug battery and press power+volume down+home buttom
4- press volume down and plug the data cable
5-run odin and put the stock room in pda
6-press start and wait to finish
7- the mobile will start normal

Guide : How to fix Software issues or Red light of death of Xperia C2305 / CS39H

So first off all what is red light of death It a hard brick state of Xperia C2305/CS39H and it is mostly caused when you are installing a cwm recovery and that won’t match the S1 boot version of your device. Also it is caused by software update not properly installed some errors or incorrect rom flashing not suitable for your device. So before starting to the repairing process read the notes.
Notes :
1. This is official way to recover the device so the warranty will not be voild.

2.. You can use this process for any Xperia device having software issues ,hard brick , soft brick or bootloops any errors can be fixed by this.
3. In this process your stock android will be reinstall and all your data will be wiped so before starting. Take a backup from dr fone brick data repair download link is attached below you can download it and I will soon make a tutorial how to use it.
4. It is a stock rom so if you have unlocked bootloader it will not work you have to use unofficial flash tool to flash the rom.
5. If you face any issues during installation replay me below. Also read everything before starting.
6. You can proceed to the fix
So here how to fix it !!
Required :
1. Bricked Xperia C2305 or CS39H (softbrick , hardbrick ,any software issue, bootloops)
2. Windows PC or Mac but this procedure is only for Windows PC
3. Good Usb cable or Original cable best
4. Charger 800 mah or more. best way use original charger
5. Xperia Companion installed ( download link below windows only)
6. Xperia C2305/ CS39H USB drivers installed( download link below)
7. Proper high speed internet ( 800 kbps or more best 2 mbhs)
8. Time aprox 4hrs or more up to your internet speed
NOTE : BEFORE STARTING THIS OPEN THE BACK COVER OF THE DEVICE AND TAKE SOMETHING POINTED AND PRESS THE RESET
BUTTON WHEN YOU ARE CONNECTED TO THE PC WITH GREEN LED SHOWING THIS WILL WIPE THE THIRD PARTY CWM OR ANY RECOVERY ON YOUR DEVICE. IF YOU DONT THE UNSUPPORTED RECOVERY WILL BLOCK THE INSTALLION PROCESS. ONCE DONE FOLLOW THE STEPS.
So here the steps :
STEP ONE : See wheater your device is charged 80 % or not it is necessary because when you are in download mode alot of battery is consumed . Battery will not charge directly because device is non stop getting in download mode while charging consuming all the battery what is charged so how to charge battery First see the above notification led is off or on it is beside the front facing camera if its is on then the device is on off it by holding power button for 15sec once led is off insert usb and charge it again the above red led will on again off it by holding power button for 15sec Note disconnect the charging usb from device before pressing power button. Repeat this for 1 or 2 hr. Once done go to next step.
STEP TWO : First install Xperia C2305 / CS39H USB driver and then download Xperia Companion on your PC and open it then hit software repair chose smartphone and the hit click here. Once done it will download the drivers. Once done go to step three.
STEP THREE : hold power button for 15 sec then leave power button and hold vol- and insert the usb abd connect to pc don’t leave it until Xperia Companion detect it and leave the vol- and press next i agree all then it will download the OS of your device. NOTE : KEEP IN MIND OS SIZE IS APROXIMATELY 700 MB SO DATA CHARGES MAY APPLY I AM NOT RESPONBLE IF YOU HAVE TO PAY MORE FOR DATA PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK . Once done go to step four.
STEP FOUR: Disconnect the Usb and the start the device. First time will take 15 min or more to boot then select language and all the step up you are done.

I took it to service center three times and after a few week from repairing it,it always dies again ? This is because your mother board has some issues if you have ever hard ware damage this is not new thing. Installing custom rom is not different then using stock the custom rom for xperia c are just stock themed so better dont install but sometimes it might able to slove the issue try installing custom rom. And the thing how to install drivers on yout windows pc charge the battery as shown in my guide then connect the usb to pc the go to control panel you will see the device as unidentified device click on it then search for driver on internet it will surely fail to find the hit browse then select the un zip driver file and select the driver it will install it you are done hit thanks if it works best wishes.

There might be some problem with your Phone's hardware. If it's still under warranty, maybe the company can replace your device but at least they can try to repair it for free.

I did what the topic said but xperia companion gives me an error .. please heeeelp !!

-My pc ia an hp laptop and i tried to use xperia companion on my desktop pc but the same problem
-yup my device is c2305
-I couldn't install adb drivers as nothing appear in the device manager
- yup it starts to download the os after (initializing) and connecting my device
- i think its a soft break as it just gave me an error while booting (Encryption unsuccessful) So I booted into recovery and selected (WIPE DATA/FACTORY RESET) , So I got into a bootloop , it just stuck on SONY logo .. So I am trying to repaire it to face that error (UEupdatefailed UE2005)

hi, im in this same situation but after reading the replies i discovered I'm installing drivers not the proper way, thanks in somewhere in page 2. will try my luck again later today, I'm using win 7 32bit if that matters. also is there any other way to charge my device internal battery? I'm suspecting it's battery is almost depleted. coz everytime i connect my phone to usb, it shows unknown device with a steady red light indicates it recognize the device in my pc. but disappears around 10secs maybe as soon the led light starts blinking. if i charge the device in doesnt show any charging animation or led it just turn on by itself on sony logo then reboot on endless loop when charging on a wall charger
