Has anyone seen cases that come apart for module usage? - LG G5 Accessories

Hoping they have these so we don't have to take the phone out everytine

That was my first question when i see G5

A thread for ALL case discussion has already been started here. One thread for cases is good for now.

[Q] MT4GS teardown - anything yet?

Okay, time again to ask the question, this time in it's own thread.
Anyone found a MT4GS teardown, pictures of the internals, anything?
So far as I know, one company has one but I think I remember it being too much to pay for at the time. I shouldn't have skipped over their search results this time, now that i'm typing up the question...
This hasn't been asked directly yet, and maybe it's because we've all been too busy finding out everything we could ourselves now that we have them in our hands and rooted.
It's been asked about in a few threads, I know at least a few other people are looking into it. Seems like it's time to give this issue a home.
So here's the place. Anything you come across, just dump it in this thread so we can start to correlate the information and get ourselves a teardown floating around these forums - it needs it.
Also, if anyone takes theirs apart past just the battery cover for any reason please grab a camera first. I'm not encouraging people to take their phones apart and photograph them. ( unless you want to )
...but if you happen to be taking it apart anyway you'd be my hero if you took good pictures of the internals you could see.

I wish I could thank you more then once. You have no idea how much that helps me.
I was about 3 days away from dis-assembling my phone.

Tylt Vu Mate with apology to moderator

I had started a topic to talk about the Tylt Vu Mate and in retrospect, it did look like I was advertising it and trying to sell. I apologize to the moderator and ensure you I am not selling anything. I was just excited about finding it.
With that said, has anyone tried it yet? I am curious if it works well. If you haven't seen it, it is an adapter that goes under the original back for the S5 and enables wireless charging. Some people were saying that it made the back not water tight because it added pressure to it but others were giddy with pleasure over it. Any thoughts?

Looking to buy, but are OPO still suffering from build issues??

I've been following this phone for a while and I remember reading that in the beginning there was some build issues, like screen yellowing, the buttons at the bottom being dim and ghost swipes. As of right now are these things still an issue? or have they worked through this with the new batches of phone? Has anyone recently (last 3 months) bought one of these phones?
anyone????

No issues with my relatively new (2 months) OPO. Loving it. The bottom LED's are dim, but after about 2 days you don't need to look at them to know where they are.
Please don't bump a thread any sooner than once in a 24 hour period. There's a review thread in our General section that might have the information you're looking for, and there's also a thread dedicated to the yellow screen issue which will poetically tell you if it's still present on current builds.

RMA questions

I have been approved for a RMA. What do I need to do to the phone before. Right not is running oxygen is and twrp. That asked if its been dropped or had water damage. Its got some ware and scratches on the bezel. Do you think they will say the problem is due to drops? Ugh. It just reboots non stop and no imei.
Please don't create multiple threads on similar or same issues. :good:
You have one of these here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/help/rma-questions-t3187255

Question [CLOSED] Pixel 7 Pro OIS Rattle?

Hi XDA. I purchased a P7P back in early November and recently it took a little tumble off my desk. Instinctively, I shook it to see if anything came loose and to my dismay it rattled. Upon further research, I found that the OIS in this and many other devices with similar camera hardware have this tendency to rattle. Do all P7Ps have this trait or is it a lottery? Would it be worth an exchange or will the new device most likely have the same "feature"?
Thanks

They ALL rattle. It's mechanical, it moves around when shaken.
Ahhh good... I guess. lol. I wonder if it would be possible to make a mod that left the camera at 5x zoom and then reset to 1x when the camera app was launched. At 5x zoom the rattle goes away.
Thanks for your response!
