Hi,
downloading from here the original white version, I change it to black version.
In my opinion, too white in the original version. So, I made it black.
Since that is a negative version of the original, colors are changed respect original version. But, for me, looks good and I want to share.
This is a 1280x720 version, that works good on my Z1 Compact.
Some images on preview, and attachment below.
Pre-requirement: root access to system folder (R/W mount)
Install instructions:
1- make a backup copy of your existent bootanimation.zip on the system/media folder
2- overwrite it with this version.
3- change permission of the file to rw-r-r
4- restart phone and enjoy!
If you like it, press Thanks button.
EDIT: In the attachment the "domusx10 light blue" version also! that I like so much!! Look at the latest screenshots...
Wooooow! Looks amazing! Thank you

Thanks man! And current animation is better, imho
I like the design, but I think some pictures are in the wrong order? 00159 is green, 00160 and 00161 blue, 00162 is green again part 2 is infinite, so my phone won't play part 4, right?
It's my first look into boot animations so please bear with me if I'm completely wrong!

Hi, the colours alternation it's due to Sony effects in the original bootanimation..due to the negative effect applied to original file, colors come out are that you've mentioned..
Io my opinion total white Xperia logo is better, I'm planning to release a white Xperia logo version of this animation soon..stay in touch!
I've added in the OP a new version "domusx10 light blue"...look at latest screenshots!

My phone bootloops and, as I'm an absolute moron, I have no recovery.
(the no recovery part is 100% my fault and I acknowledge that I possibly wasted 400€ on a boot animation).
I did exactly what you said in the original post, but I guess I messed up. I'm now hard resetting with PC Companion and hoping my backup didn't corupt.
Sorry for being such a noob.

What? So strange..I have light blue version on my old z1c, no problem..a bootanimation that cause a bootloops it's so strange.. In my experience, when I put an incorrect bootanimation version on my z1c the result was no display bootanimation.. Black screen for a minute and after the lockscreen..never have a bootloops. Which phone do you have? Because this resolution is for z1c I don't know if works wirh other phones (as I wrote in op)
In any case pc companion can fix the problem without loose data..
Good luck ? and I hope you resolve this problem.

I think that is due to boot resolution of M4, that's different from z1c I suppose.

I take no credit whatsoever for this mod. It doesnt get any easier than this. Just copy your /system/framework/framework-res.apk to your sdcard then transfer to computer to use with this tool
http://circle.glx.nl/index.php
If you want to make your own custom battery icons you need to select version Z!!!!!!
It can take up to 3 minutes for your modified framework zip to be posted
After its done, place on sdcard and flash from recovery
*WARNING: if you have a custom theme this may cause boot loops which can only be fixed with a nandroid. Flashing stock wont fix this.
**CREDITS: Fightspit (for makeing this mod), Qliratu (for making the tool to simplify the process), And Mendozinas (for the custom edition)
attachments below are for CM6.0.1
blakestiffler said:
i take no credit for this whatsoever. Just trying to pass it along. Simply flash this zip from recovery as usual. This is the basic circle battery mod with the blue for the higher percentage. Tested confirmed working for CM6.0.1. This will not change anything else except for the battery image.

That's what nandroids are for, assuming you made one before you flashed.
Who wants to make a RED one?
figured it out
I found a stock battery file on another link..
Does allow for having the percentage displayed? I currently have that and like it
You'll need to disable the battery percentage, but it is included in the images so you'll still have it.

i have no idea why this would have happened. I took the stock cm6.0.1 framework-res.apk and only changed the necessary pngs and xmls for the battery. If you have a custom theme then its possible that would have been undone.

Also I downloaded the the with black letters, however there is only an outline of black with white in the middle, is there any way to make the letters all black?
Thanks

I love the bootanimatiom but is it possible to make it a bit wider...it looks a bit slim for me...
So, Inspired by arter97's original mod on the Exynos 7420 chipsets I have modded the files to work on the Galaxy S7 Edge (Exynos Variant).
To Not have a confusion, What I have done is as follows -
* Arter's binary was made for Note 5/S6 Edge+ So the PARAM file location was different from S7 Edge
* Image File dimensions were not the same, Had to use an alternative which was made based on the original jpg in the Stock PARAM file
Attached below is the flashable zip, modded with above changes. You can flash it through TWRP and I have tested on my G935FD.
On my G935F it worked (Boot Image Attached), which may not mean that it will work on yours as expected. If things blow up, Like arter says - Im not responsible.
Cheers!

I have it on my S6. It's a great screen. I like it too.
However when working with the S7 Edge, The system does not accept full screen images. I couldn't figure out why, hence I created my image based on the stock image which is cropped to the center. If a fullscreen image is used, It gets cropped to the bottom right corner. Maybe an expert in this case could provide a solution to that. In the Meantime, The Stock Image can be used as the canvas to create new bootscreens.

You can create a stock version by using the stock image I attached on the second post.
I've made some Splash images too to share with the community. They're all 840x1620 like the other images. Rename them to logo.jpg and replace them in the Google logo zip postet above. Hope you enjoy them!
Also, be careful with this, I accidentally broke my phone and now have to reset it; however, I don't think it's related to the images but rather my firmware which is a modified one by my provider. So in the normal stock firmware I don't think it should be the problem, but as always it's recommended to have backups. Thanks to the OP JasonX at this point too for trying to help me with my problem!

Original S7E-Bootsplash
Can someone provide the original S7E-Bootsplash?
I tried the google-bootsplash but it's smaler than the display so i tried to revert to original postet in #2 - but there is the same problem that the splashscreen is much smaller than the display is... Don't know the right values for image width and high. I tested with 1440x2560, result was that the image high would be ok, but the image itself is broken in with.
Thx in advance

Oh and can I match the animation speed of the animations? While booting, the animation has less FPS than the animation by shutting down.

Hi guys. I couldn't find these on our M8 forum, but I have grabbed the black version of the boot animation from the nexus-6p forum. Also included is the matching bootsplash. Everything resized for our 1080x1920 M8 phones.
*Update* 2017-01-07
As requested adding the white versions. I also made a reversed black version that starts with the "G" and ends with "Google", bootsplash_pix_blk_r.zip & bootanimation_pix_blk_r.zip. I may tweak it if anyone else likes it.
You can flash all zips from TWRP recovery.
