Thanks for your answer.
Can you confirm me that flashing will not erase the pictures ! Sorry but it is so important for her.
I found this on internet, is it the right way to do this ?
#Flashing Via ODIN
1.Download and install Odin on your PC.
2.Once you have Odin installed in your PC the TWRP recovery.tar file from the download link.
3.Power off your device. Turn on your device using the proper key combo to get into download mode and attach the device to your computer via a USB cable.
4.Use the PDA tab or button to browse to and select the tar file that you downloaded and flash the device.

Even the MTP is not working perfectly on regular Android system but on TWRP, it really sucks.
Yes, you need to install TWRP Recovery BUT the best thing is get the files with ADB command;
adb pull /data/media
But first, check FRP is turned off from download mode.

guys i installed it on my phone without any problems and also i tried many functions like mount sd card, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache and i backup rom and all is fine !, i provided more screenshots to make you sure that it's not a fake !
the steps :
1-if your phone is not rooted yet root is ( frameroot is the easiest way ) i attached the file.for rooted phone skip this step
2-connect your phone via usb cable to your computer and enable usb debugging mode
3-install adb vocom drivers ( attached ) and in the installation progress choose others and it will installing the required drivers
4-run cwm magic create http://www.4shared.com/rar/OJSY1SBiba/cwm_magic.html and choose auto just follow the instructions and be patient,in the final progress superuser will ask for permission sure click grant then the device will reboot into recovery mode and if you like to go to recovery mode just switch your phone off the press and hold power+volume down together.
hope that could help you and sorry for bad english

Hello everyone! I was given a Samsung Galaxy S3(SCH-S968C) from TracFone that belonged to a now-deceased family member. I am trying to recover any pictures or videos on the phone but the phone is password-protected. I've tried different passwords that he had on his accounts but none are going through. I'm now on 8/10 failed attempts before the phone is wiped.
The phone hasn't been used in about six months as the family member moved to a different phone but I'm not certain they moved anything from the old phone.
It won't be a tragedy if we cannot recover but I was to get anything I can from the device.
Thank you for any advice!

I have the same problem. I downloaded 3rd party software but this model was not supported. I have downloaded adb and odin but I don't know how to use them and debugging is not enabled on this device. From what I have managed to piece together, I may have to flash a recovery, then get in to adb and enable debugging or possibly delete the passkey file. Can anyone help a moron like myself save this phone? It is very important to my family. Thanks for any help.
Hello guys, my phone dropped today and half of the screen is not working anymore. Also the touch does not seem to work. The problem is I just want to copy my photos to my computer but i cant because of the phone is locked and it needs a pattern password to unlock. Is there anyway without replacing the screen to copy my photos or unlock the phone. Thank you.
Hi,
You can plug an OTG cable and plug in a mouse to work around the touch screen issue. Other possibility is trying to boot in recovery mode to manage the files via USB, though I'm not sure if it would allow you to access internal data using adb or not.
All the best,
~Lord

Hey i do have the USB OTG and i plugged in a mouse to try to enable the adb debugging but the problem is that i can't see the screen so i am working blindly and trying to 'guess' where i should click.
The thing is i can unlock my phone with the fingerprint, but when i connect it to the computer the files do not show, i believe there is a button i have to click to enable MTP ?
I really can't believe its that hard to copy some files from my phone just because the screen is black
Hi,
Yes there is a button to enable MTP and it is in fact hard to enable it without looking at the screen. Have you tried booting in Recovery to access your files?

If phone is USB-OTG-enabled then all you need is an USB-OTG-adaptercable to access the files from PC.

Android has a built-in feature since version 5 called Smart Lock. It’s a proximity-based condition for your lock screen that keeps your phone unlocked when it is in one of three places:
On your person (like in your pocket or in your hand)
At a location that you have specified
Near another Android device that you have specified
If Smart Lock wasn't enabled on phone then the suggested USB-OTG method of course doesn't work.
