[ROM] [STOCK] [SM-G350] NANDroid Backup (TWRP) of stock 4.2.2 for SM-G350 - Samsung Galaxy Core Plus ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries

There is a backup of stock system of SM-G350. Made with TWRP (thanks @santeri3700)
Download link: TWRP BACKUP STOCK SYSTEM 4.2.2
Note: I've uploaded it on MEGA for compatibility reason. Enjoy! )

Hello thanks for the post, I copied the and extract the zip to my external SD. When I'm trying to restore it with TWPR I cannot see any folders to restore from. I also made a backup for my previous rom and the structure is exactly the same "TWRP/Backups/42030db6552fc000/2016-01-31--12-22-16 JDQ39.G350XXU0ANG4"
What am I doing wrong?
Edit: Found the solution, you have to use the same numbers from the backup you did before and then TWRP will see the folders.

It searches for backups in clockworkmod/backup instead of goapkrev/backup, you just have to make a clockworkmod folder and move your backup folder into it.

Anyone using this backup has to remember to change the phone marker folder to the serial number of their own phone or TWRP won't recognize it. When you press restore it'll be completely blank. Once you make the phone marker folder your own phone's serial number, it'll work like a charm with no issues.

Make sure you do a Factory Reset, Wipe Cache, Wipe Dalvik and do the restore again. Should boot fine after that.
This is nice to have. I made a Nandroid of my stock setup but I had already removed a ton of bloatware so it wasn't really a STOCK nandroid. I'm downloading this just so I have it.
But, could you post an MD5 sum of the zipped file that way I know I got a good download? It failed several times before downloading completely and I wanna be sure it's legit.
Thanks

This is a Nandroid backup of the full stock rom that comes on the Verizon M8 out of the box. No modifications made to it at all. It is the exact software you would get on your M8 if you just bought it at the store (minus stock recovery and radios of course) If you don't know what a Nandroid backup is, it's a backup of the software on your device using a custom recovery like TWRP. Say you flashed a custom rom and were having problems with it but didn't have your own backup of the stock software. You could download this and use TWRP to restore it and you would be back to stock again. AOSP is something else. AOSP is Android without Manufacturer skins like Sense (HTC devices), or Touchwiz (Samsung devices), the only devices that come with AOSP installed on them are Nexus devices. Everything else is Android that's slightly modified. Hope this explains it.

I think I know what you mean? I already use twrp so when I download this just go to my external sd card (where I keep my backups), open twrp, open folder with HTC and I guess my serial number, then inside this folder is where I place this backup correct? Thanks.

Thanks for helping everyone out. I tried to make the instructions as detailed as possible.
Again if the link goes down let me know so I can add a new one.
Making a Pure Stock Rom as we speak. Keeping it close to Stock as possible but with all of the unneeded Files removed (Verizon/Amazon/Keyboard Language/ect..... Adding a small amount of tweaks/files to the system and thats it. I not sure if anyone has use Scotts Roms in the past (CleanRom) But it is going to be like that for each update to come. Should have it up in the next couple of days.

So you download the zip. Open zip it an go find the folder with build keys in the name. You extract that to downloads folder then place the file you just extracted in your normal twrp file path. You still have to rename? If you do it correct there is nothing to rename to match your phone. Not saying your wrong. I just never have had to rename anything when restoring someone backup.

So is there away to use this as an upgrade to the new firmware without destroying all the apps and settings?
Thanks

Rom Builder

Rom Builder Hi guys this is me a small utility for creating flashable zip custom firmware for recovery I think will help manyhow to useunzip the contents of a folder on your computer
connect your phone via usb and enable USB debug
run the program and press enter
Click OK on your phone
We are waiting for the completion
So almost all ready, we go on a memory card and look for the folder "ROM" and see there copy 4 files to your computer
almost finished
Now we take update.zip to move all the files
That's just what we've created custom firmware for recovery
Download RomBuilder

It can:
-back up boot, system and custom partitions as img file to sdcard (recovery partition not supported for now)
-move these 3 img files from sdcard to PC
-make flashable zip (update.zip)
-clean img files from sdcard and PC
Note: When you start build_Rom.bat again, it deletes update zip. So you should backup your update.zip for every process.
All credits to go this topics creator. I only modified a bit to automate process.

Hi.I installed one Rom and I get this problem when I want restore my back up. I try any thing but I can't find any things for this.cm roms work correct ly but I want restored my stock Rom .please help.....:crying:

Restoring twrp backup

Using a rooted nexus 5 running stock 4.4.4. And twrp 2.8.x.x
(I searched for a twrp support thread but could not find one).
I want to restore an old twrp backup I had made some time ago (with an earlier version of twrp) and moved to my pc. So I copied that backup from my pc to the twrp folder in the nexus 5. But when I reboot into TWRP, twrp lists other backups, but not the one I just copied back into its folder.
How can I get twrp to see and restore that nandroid backup?
Thank you.
My first thought is - is it the same device? I had a similar problem when I got a replacement phone, and the solution was simply to rename the old backup with the new device's id.
Yes, the same device, but different versions of twrp.
SOLVED.
Entirely my fault. I needed to move the backup file down to the next subfolder. Once I got it into the correct subfolder TWRP found it fine.
can u tell the correct folder name to place the old backup file. thnks in advance....

Hi,
I've tried this but without success, have you tried in your device? Witch TWRP?
After unzip the folder and put on twrp folder I reboot into twrp / restore from external SD but don't appear that folder, no twrp folder or backup folder or firmware folder, I think the version of the twrp isn't correct (2.8.0.7) for this device SM-G318H, can you provide the correct twrp?
If o try install that folders appears but this is to flash zip
