It searches for backups in clockworkmod/backup instead of goapkrev/backup, you just have to make a clockworkmod folder and move your backup folder into it.

i tired , it can't restore the backup files frome 2.5.1.8
the folder is corecct

I started to add language once as the chineese ROM came out. Its kind of tricky, as you have to open up all apks, you want to translate, and add the languagefiles. When there aren't any language files, for your desired language, you have to translate them on your own.
After that you have to repack the apk, sign it, and push it on your phone.
This can give you some sleepless nights
Edit: here's the APK Manager to open/repack/sign your apks: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=695701
ok
u can add arabic in whatsapp, heywire and firefox ?
if u can add him and place apks here pleease
No as I can't speak or read any arabic I can't do this... as well as I don't have the time to do something like this.
you have to do this on your own. If you don't want to spend some of your own time, you'll probably never get help.
You can ask questions if you stuck on a point, but you have to show that you are willing to spend times. Go on reading what I've posted above...

U have to extract the whole zip-file. Theres a nandroid.md5 in it. This file has a checksum in it for the system.img. If you don't use them both together, the clockworkmod won't work.
if you did all that, and still getting md5 mismatch, you really have to reload the zip-file.

[Trick][Noob Friendly]How to fix md5 sum mismatch error in CWM easy n quick!!

Hi guys,
I have started this life saver thread (lol) for those who are getting md5 mismatch error while restoring backups in cwm..:screwy:
Dont delete the precious backups which show error in restoring due to md5 midmatch..
There are lot of methods to fix this but they all require terminal, adb n such things.. but I bet My method is d easiest..
Let's start,
Things required..
Nothing!!! Except a good file explorer which has a option to create new file.. I prefer root explorer but it costs to buy..
Cautionon't rename any folders in the backup Coz it makes ur backup useless..
1.Now open your file explorer & navigate to your clockworkmod/backup/(choose the backup which u want to restore)/ folder on your sd card and u will see a file called nandroid.md5 which contains all d info about the rom on which d backup was made..
2.Back up & then Delete the nandroid.md5 file and in options create a new file & name it as nandroid.md5 exactly as it was before (DON'T USE CAPS WHILE NAMING)..
3.Make sure u don't touch anything else & exit your file explorer..
4.Enter into cwm recovery and restore the backup which u modified.. Yuppy!! Restore successful..
OTHER CASES FOR RESTORING FAILURE
1.A bad or damaged backup
2.Problem with kernels related to mounting & unmounting /system,/data,/cache
3.Some have reported error in restoring bcoz of some folder created in system by root all data 2 sd app..
4.Renamed backups
If this method dint work for u then pls search & try other complicated methods..
Pls report after using this method and press thanks if this helped you..

What if the recovery installed before ROM flashing was not from TWRP but from CWM 6.0 version? And what if the backup was faulty with error message " failed to mount data" but the person continued the ROM flashing with a hope that everything will be fine, but it wasn't the Cyanogen 10.2 nightly was too faulty for the Samsung Galaxy i9001. Now I'm stuck with the blue Cyanogen rotating logo, unable to reboot and unable to go back to my default system, MD5 mismatch error. Can I do the steps mentioned through a PC, by accessing the folders and files inside the device by USB?

Help needed asap to reinstall orignal stock rom on my htc one sv

HI Im a noob. I was able to root my phone successfully and everything I was downloading rooted apps so I download pimp my beats and Dolby mobile well some how it messed up all my audio I couldn't hear a thing so I tried factory reset and then tired uninstalling them and that didn't work so then I went online and downloaded the original boot and recovery.img I tired flashing the but then when I do it comes to the clockworksmod like if it needs a rom or something then when I try installing a ROM it ends up aborting. it ends up getting stuck on the start up with red lettered warning I need someone to help me please get it back to the original state like when first get it out of the box. I want to install the original kernel the original rom and get my sound back on. Or at least so I can fix it to get my warranty valid again so I can get a new one. I need help asap if additional info is needed let me know. do you have any idea why I cant hear phone calls coming in or outgoing, my music or youtube all sounds i can't hear. I am on K2_PLC_CL I am LTE on CricketWireless Thanks

I know that. I moved the backup on the computer and when I put it on my sd so I could restore it. It didn't work it says no file found do you know where I can download the Original Stock Rom and when i try starting it up it go's to a black screen with a green arrow pointing towards the found then it goes to the phone with a red triangle with a red exclamation point. What is that?
If your backup is not recognised you have put it in the wrong folder i think. So tell us, where the files are on your sd card.

+1 on that, if you have one it'll be recognized as long as it is in the right folder, and made with the same recovery.

So i put the backup in the CWM folder but it tells me no file found so what do I do? Can I go to some website to download the original stock Rom and kernel I need to fix my phone asap so can you please tell me exactly what I need to do. Plus what are those symbols i describe in my last reply. Thanks so much for assisting me I appreciate it.
The files must be in folder: clockworkmod/backup/2013-04-01.18.46.58
The last folder is the date it was created.
The symbols mean, your flash has failed.
What if that doesn't work

Then using fastboot I go ahead and open up CWM? Will it work on any version of CWD? Thanks so much for getting that file for me and what do I do after its flashed? Like as from being to end what are the steps sorry for all the questions but thanks for everything.
Unzip it. Go into Clean JB Crkt 2.04.1050.3 folder and copy the clockworkmod to your external sd.
Then boot into cwm and choose restore and choose the backup.

Hey man I download that file but its not in zip its in Rar. so I just move the file on to my external sd out in the open not in a folder and I opened up my CWM from the install zip from sd card and that didn't work then I went to restore and it could find the file both times so how do I install it? Do I have to put it in a certain folder or something? It keeps saying no file found. Thanks
Don't copy the zip directly.
What you could do is make a backup, see where it is on your sd, replace it with the one from the zip and then restore that one.
So Noob17_Me, flash this rom from here.

Yea but what im trying to say is that the file I downloaded isn't in zip form. So how am I supposed to install it on CWM?
Sorry but what is so difficult to understand? The rar is not for flashing, its a cwm backup and if you unrar it you have a folder Clean JB Crkt 2.04.1050.3, inside you find a folder clockworkmod.
This clockworkmod folder you have to copy to SD, like it is and and boot into recovery and choose "restore".
And my zip is made from this backup, so it are the same files!

Pure Stock 1.55.605.2 TWRP Nandroid Backup ((( TWRP Recovery Only )))
This can be used to either update to the newest firmware or to use in the future to return to stock for other OTA's.
Have tested it severals times and had no problems.
FROM YOUR PHONE:
Download Root Explorer
Download the Pure Stock 1.55.605.2.zip ((( IM me if the links go down, I will add new ones.)))
Unzip the Pure Stock 1.55.605.2.zip
Double click on the HT43ASF08359 folder
MOVE (Not Copy) The 2014-04-20--10-11-12 KOT49H release-keys folder and place in in the TWRP folder / Backup folder / Phone Marker folder. ((( Mine is HT43ASF08359, yours might be different. )))
Reboot into recovery and restore
Thats It!
If any problems please leave them in the comments below.
THANKS,
UPDATE:
If you haven't done a backup before with TWRP then there won't be a folder for you to put this file in. Do a backup of your current Rom and then follow the steps above. This will give you the folders you need.
Phone Marker Folder: is a folder that the TWRP Recovery generates to store the backup in and is different with each phone.
This is what the folder should look like on the sdcard,
TWRP ----> Backup ----> Phone Marker folder ( Mine is HT43ASF08359, your might be different) Then the file you downloaded from me ----> 2014-04-20--10-11-12 KOT49H release-keys
If you just put the 2014-04-20--10-11-12 KOT49H release-keys file in the backup folder and not the Phone Marker folder then it won't show up when you go to restore the backup.
UPDATE: again
LINKS are live again!!!!!

Anyone using this backup has to remember to change the phone marker folder to the serial number of their own phone or TWRP won't recognize it. When you press restore it'll be completely blank. Once you make the phone marker folder your own phone's serial number, it'll work like a charm with no issues.

Thank you for explaining that for me. I been trying to help those who aren't familiar with TWRP Recovery. Well explained.

Make sure you do a Factory Reset, Wipe Cache, Wipe Dalvik and do the restore again. Should boot fine after that.
This is nice to have. I made a Nandroid of my stock setup but I had already removed a ton of bloatware so it wasn't really a STOCK nandroid. I'm downloading this just so I have it.
But, could you post an MD5 sum of the zipped file that way I know I got a good download? It failed several times before downloading completely and I wanna be sure it's legit.
Thanks
Nobody yell at me . what exactly is this post for ? Is this for stock android ? Like aosp ?

Nobody is gonna yell at you... Lol.
This is a Nandroid backup of the full stock rom that comes on the Verizon M8 out of the box. No modifications made to it at all. It is the exact software you would get on your M8 if you just bought it at the store (minus stock recovery and radios of course) If you don't know what a Nandroid backup is, it's a backup of the software on your device using a custom recovery like TWRP. Say you flashed a custom rom and were having problems with it but didn't have your own backup of the stock software. You could download this and use TWRP to restore it and you would be back to stock again. AOSP is something else. AOSP is Android without Manufacturer skins like Sense (HTC devices), or Touchwiz (Samsung devices), the only devices that come with AOSP installed on them are Nexus devices. Everything else is Android that's slightly modified. Hope this explains it.

I think I know what you mean? I already use twrp so when I download this just go to my external sd card (where I keep my backups), open twrp, open folder with HTC and I guess my serial number, then inside this folder is where I place this backup correct? Thanks.

Thanks for helping everyone out. I tried to make the instructions as detailed as possible.
Again if the link goes down let me know so I can add a new one.
Making a Pure Stock Rom as we speak. Keeping it close to Stock as possible but with all of the unneeded Files removed (Verizon/Amazon/Keyboard Language/ect..... Adding a small amount of tweaks/files to the system and thats it. I not sure if anyone has use Scotts Roms in the past (CleanRom) But it is going to be like that for each update to come. Should have it up in the next couple of days.

For some reason if I don't change the serial number my TWRP doesn't see it in restore. Had the same problem a few times yesterday.

So you download the zip. Open zip it an go find the folder with build keys in the name. You extract that to downloads folder then place the file you just extracted in your normal twrp file path. You still have to rename? If you do it correct there is nothing to rename to match your phone. Not saying your wrong. I just never have had to rename anything when restoring someone backup.

So is there away to use this as an upgrade to the new firmware without destroying all the apps and settings?
Thanks

[ROM] [STOCK] [SM-G350] NANDroid Backup (TWRP) of stock 4.2.2 for SM-G350

There is a backup of stock system of SM-G350. Made with TWRP (thanks @santeri3700)
Download link: TWRP BACKUP STOCK SYSTEM 4.2.2
Note: I've uploaded it on MEGA for compatibility reason. Enjoy! )
Hello thanks for the post, I copied the and extract the zip to my external SD. When I'm trying to restore it with TWPR I cannot see any folders to restore from. I also made a backup for my previous rom and the structure is exactly the same "TWRP/Backups/42030db6552fc000/2016-01-31--12-22-16 JDQ39.G350XXU0ANG4"
What am I doing wrong?
Edit: Found the solution, you have to use the same numbers from the backup you did before and then TWRP will see the folders.
