Honor 6 "not booting" without charger - Honor 6, 6 Plus Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, I'm having issues with my Honor 6 with Android 5.1 and EMUI 3.1. When power button pressed honor logo comes and immediately getting switched off. But it is working fine when it is connected with charger. I'm suspecting it's battery problem, since charging time is usual and showing battery charging progress.
Please give any suggestion to resolve this issue with less servicing cost..

I think it's hardware issue, so only way is service.
how does battery level change?
what did you do before this issue?

Nexus 5 shutting down on its own and will not boot up

Hey everyone, I am facing a very unusual problem. My phone few days back turned off on its own in spite of having enough charge in the battery. When I pressed the power button to start the phone, it won't start!!! I plug in the charger but nothing happens. No charging symbol nothing.
I take the phone to service center. Representative over there tells me it's the charging IC problem and it needs to be replaced. I said OK and he replaced it. Phone turns on and it's charging and everything is fine.
I go home and I am using it and suddenly it reboots on its own. This happens multiple times at irregular intervals of time. After a few hours phone shuts down again and won't start. Again back to ground zero.
Anyone who can help? What do you think, is it hardware or software issue?.
Running Android 5.1 and not rooted.
Is the battery physically damaged?

[Completed] Nexus 6P does not identify load, and turns off.

Hello,
I live in Brazil and bought a Nexus 6p 7 months ago.
I left my cell phone charging at night and dawned off.
The charging animation remained on the screen indicating that the unit was charging. But he can never complete the load.
I can turn the phone on, but it only starts the process and it shuts off for lack of strength.
I bought a new battery and changed the battery. But the problem continued.
I took the batteries in a technician and he said they are charged.
It seems that something prevents the cargo from being identified. The cell phone shuts off because it thinks it has no charge.
By pressing the 'Volume -' and 'Power' button I can see the options normally.
I did 'Recovery mode' and it worked. But I can not use the device. The device can not finish the power-on process because it does not have enough power.
My device updated to version 7.1.1 of android about 10 days ago.
I researched a few things about this version being causing battery problems on the Nexus 6p.
I would like to go back to version 6 of android. But I can not because the phone does not turn on.
Please, I have no options. Anyone have any idea how to fix my device.
Thank you for any help.
Hi !
Have you tried this method ?
Good luck !

Mate 8 won't start charging until reboot

Hello,
I've started to run into an issue with my Huawei Mate 8: sometimes it will stop charging before 100% (most of times it happened during calls) and wont start again until rebooted. Unplugging and plugging the cord back doesn't seem to help. The only way to make the phone to charge again is to reboot it. It all started a week after the battery was replaced at service (old one got damaged over time and was holding power for like 1 hour of use). I already tested with a different charger to eliminate the possibility that the charger has issues. I've been wondering if someone else ran into this issue and was able to fix it, and if it might be a hardware issue (has to do with the battery change)?
Thanks

i have been facing the exact same problem. i rolled back to Marshmallow and it is charging fine but when i upgraded to Nougut it will not charge again. so it is the problem with update. i replaced my battery too by the way.
it is really annoying since i want to keep Nougut. did not like Marshmallow.
Same problem here, started after changing the battery
Sent from my HUAWEI NXT-L29 using XDA-Developers Legacy app
I faced the same problem, what helped for me:
Discharge the phone ~5%. Turn off the phone. Recharge to 100%. Boot the phone.
Use the phone till ~5% and redo the procedure once.
After that phone also allows me to recharge it while it was still turned on (without reboot).

Constant Rebooting while Charging [Sometimes]

My phone is randomly rebooting while charging. It usually happens about 5 seconds after I plug it in into the car, wall, or external battery. However, it's not constant. Sometimes it happens while the screen is off and other times it happens when the screen is on. If the phone doesn't reboot, it's usually fine for several plus hours of charging. BUT it has randomly rebooted about four or five times after an hour in of constant charging.
I thought this would be a hardware issue, but I have read online in other locations this is could be a software issue. Any suggestions on how to correct this? I would prefer to stay on my version of android for higher performance with my mobile game. This phone was not or is definitely not a beast in the way of hardware.
Phone purchased at the end of 2016. [Warranty has already expired.]
Charging Reboots occurred at the beginning of 2018?
Never replaced the battery
Battery line is horrible right now
EMUI 4.1

Android 6.0 STOCK
Update: Two days later with a factory reset phone and surprisingly the reboots have stop completely. I think I have charged the phone about five to six times and a not a single reboot. I never considered this could be a software issue, but I will continue to test the device and see if it occurs again. I will probably purchase a new battery tonight or tomorrow, and see if that changes the outcome. After factory reset, I am still on EMUI 4.1: FRD-L04C567B162 with Android 6.0 STOCK.

You might want to update to emui 5.0.1 buddy. Go to system update in settings and update your phone right away. It will fix the problem. If it still persists, change your battery.

Can I update emui to 5.1 without updating android? I really want to stay on Marshmallow.

Unfortunately you can't mate. Honor 8 won't get 5.1. But trust me, 5.0.x is far better and optimised than 4.1. It's even better on the battery.
