Could someone point me in the proper direction please.
I have a little experience with phones, but it has room to improve. I have flashed and rooted phones in the past but have never had to deal with a phone that doesn't have a stock or custom rom available.
I currently have 2 (Boost Mobile) Alcatel One Touch Conquest 7046t.
One is working properly and is not rooted. The other one is soft bricked into a bootloop from trying to root with KingRoot then swapping out the superuser with supersu-me.
The stock root for this phone is not available. I've searched and searched to no avail.
Can I use the working phone to create a flash file (backup file from good phone) to restore the bootlooped phone? Might it even be possible to extract a stock rom from the working phone?
ANY ideas or suggestions on where to go from here would be extremely helpful.

Hello,
Thanks for using XDA Assist.
Yeah! That's somewhat possible. If you have a custom recovery, then it's easy. You can use to make a backup of the system files and then flash it to the other phone from the recovery.
If you don't have it,read this.

v7
XDA Assist
Thank you! It gives me a starting point.

Hi Everyone,
I have had my XT925 for a few years now and I usually come on XDA and check out whats happening on here.
I have finally reached the point where my phone has slowed down to a snails pace.
So in order to breath new life into it I am hoping to install a custom rom but I am so lost it is not even funny.
I have tried doing research but there is just so much out there and I am feeling lost. (Sorry to be a noob)
I am hoping someone can help me out with the questions I have.
1. I have a Fido (Rogers) XT925, it is my understanding that if I go to Motorola's website I can unlock the bootloader there (not that I really know what that does as of yet)
2. After I unlock the bootloader, do I then need to root first? or do I install a Custom Recovery? What do I install? I am very lost at this point.
3. After that I assume that the rest is pretty easy I either install CM11 or Slimkat from what I am reading.
Again any help is greatly appreciated. I am fairly technical but the most I have done to this phone is root it a while back (I lost root since, I got stuck in a boot loop)
Thanks again ahead of time!

if your phone was running acceptably some time ago, a simple factory reset (after you backup data!!!) will get it back to that condition.
or you can go the custom route. answers to your questions below.
1. yes
2. the recovery you need will depend on weather you are on JB or KK now. both can be found in the dev or orig dev forums. after install you can flash a su zip from the new recovery to gain root.
3. if you are on JB now you will need a JB base rom, if you are on KK now you will need a KK base rom. where it can get confusing is, just because it says in the rom 4.4 or whatever, that doesent necessarily mean the base it KK although it can be.
Okay thank you going to attempt tonight but don't be surprised if there is a post later on saying help I bricked my phone

Also if anyone wants to help me step by step on Skype or something in an hour or two I would be very grateful!

So I got the phone some days ago and rooted it with no problem using Kingo Root. However, I installed an app that messed my device. The phone does not boot up now In order to solve this problem, I think that all I have to do is put the device into adb sideload mode (which I know how to do) and install the stock rom. HOWEVER, I can't find the rom anywhere, so here is where my question comes in. Do you know where I can get the stock rom or is there another way of solving this problem?

Hi, my name is Anthony and I have a T-Mobile S5 running the latest version of android (I think it's 5.0.1 or 5.0). I'm kinda a newb with flashing and rooting. I had my phone rooted using towel root a while ago, but I lost that root in an update and it is no longer supportive of my phone.
I'm looking to install custom roms but before I do so, I would like to make a full backup of my current stock touch wiz so I can revert to it in case I don't like the new rom. I also would like to root my phone. Oh, and before anyone tells me that I need to install Odin, I have a Mac running Yosemite.... A lot of people have told me that I need to install clock work in order for this whole process to work.
Recap:
1. Make backup rom
2. Root phone
3. Teach me how to flash roms using a Mac.
4. Include any other important info and links for downloads.
I mainly want to install CM12, but I still want a backup rom to revert to later
Thanks, and please don't post any hate
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. Some pro tips, figure out how to use Odin. You'll need it eventually if you want to root and flash roms. Either in a Windows vm or heimdall. If something goes wrong you'll need to flash the stock firmware.
There's a whole forum for your device,http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-galaxy-s5. And the best place to ask your specific question is here,http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-galaxy-s5/help

Someone must have this phone it looks identical to Alcatel pixi 3 4.5
Can anyone point me to the stock Rom I have searched everywhere.
Can't root, can't backup, can't create scatter. Can't find cwm and can't port one as I can't get my recovery.
Also tried fastboot oem unlock doesn't work and even riskier tried flashing cwm from pixi 3 (4.5) can't do that either .
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated
So any ideas. Anyone
Someone must have this phone now maybe for Christmas and looking to root.
Think I may have searched the entire internet
Please help
Alrighty man, first make sure that it has a unlocked bootloader. If it does, then try to use a root app (.exe recommended, but .apks may work) with USB debugging enabled (go to dev setting and enable it). If it isn't, then install your phone's drivers and look for solutions to unlock the bootloader.
Thanks for replying. I think bootloader is locked and I cannot find a way to unlock it. I have never had a android I couldn't root (till now)

've been searching for a solution for 2 weeks and i found one one click root app which rooted my phone: KingRoot v4.8.0.0
I've been using it for while and yesterday i've decided to give to it one las chance and surprise! After 3 attempts KingRoot found a voulnerability and rooted my phone!
Now i'm searching one custom recovery but twrp or cwm doesn't have any support for this device and i don't wanna risk my phone into a bootloader. If someone finds thos info usefull i'm glad to hear that. But if someone can help me with xposed i will be happier.
Thanks lajaja123!!!
Worked after 4-5 attempts with Kingroot v4.8.0 build 20160203.
Everything Ok!
