I'd say it resembles the Xiaomi's MIUI...
I have been trying to deodex the ROM, especially to get the OppoCamera apk out of it.
I haven't succeeded yet, but I figured somebody might want to test the ROM or try it by himself.
You can ColorOS 3.0 camera app here: http://bit.ly/cos3cam
But remember, it does not have to work for you as it may be dependent on ColorOS 3.0 framework.
And if you try it on any other device than R7 Plus, well, it will almost definitely not work for you, so don't post here about how it doesn't work for you
What is new:
- mostly new UI (camera, desktop...)
- faster interactions
- new Camera
- etc...
I HAVE NOT TESTED THIS - THIS IS ONLY REUPLOAD.
Everything you do is on your own risk!

Installation:
Read this (about missing fastboot on Oppo devices - if you are on a ROM with missing fastboot, you might need to downgrade to get it back).
Download the selected ZIP to your phone and flash it as usual...
Make sure you are using the right ZIP file on the right device!!!!

Don't forget to let us know how it went, how you like it, etc...

It seems to be for the 'M' variant of R7 Plus, so I guess it will only work there. Installing on a 'F' variant probably will transform your phone on a beautiful brick...
Nothing personal against MIUI, I've installed it several times, right now I don't like it due to the "necessity" to have another account rather than Google's one.

What do you mean by you've installed MIUI ROM .. ?!! Is there a ROM for our device .. ?!! If yes please share it with us.
By the way, ajeeshcr20 is working on porting the MIUI 7 ROM based on the 5.1 or 6.0, so we are waiting him to upload the beautiful smooth ROM.
Thanks.

Maybe it already works on R7 PlusF, maybe it will not brick it as @elsuzio said.
And maybe it will...
If you know something about fastboot, recovery, flashing,... and you are sure you can recover the device in case of a bootloop/brick, go ahead and try it out...
And don't forget to let us know how it went...
But if you don't know what I'm talking about, I recommend you not to try your luck

I see...
It would probably require root and Lucky Patcher/Xposed patch to the android core...
Or force uninstalling of the original OppoCamera (either via a custom recovery - TWRP, or Titanium Backup - again, root required)
If you wish to try, you will have to do your own research (the keywords were put above). Elseway, let's consider the camera app uninstallable..

I have already tryed and without root but the same way to upgrade as well and also through twrp both didnt work phone didnt brick

If I had to guess, I would say this rom is for the mediatek variant of the phone. Qualcomm, even if it's present on some models of the M variant, it's used for traveling abroad (if I'm not mistaken), so it makes sense the rom is only for mediatek. Anyway, I'm still a tad confused about the different versions of this phone...

I see, it is probably caused by the first line in
ColorOS V3.0_20160129_Beta.zip\META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script
You'd have to modify that file to force the flash...

I am not that much expert so i should wait for it

I did the modifications (editing the updater-script to change the model name, and removes the bootloader/radio/nvflash/other unneeded images so that brick risks are avoided) and it worked, rom boots fine and everything is working (mobile network, wifi, fingerprint, camera, etc).
I don't like the rom though, going back to CM. Here's a link that can flash on R7Plusf if anyone is interested: https://mega.nz/#!39QzkaJQ!00y_WonQqaPnc4yAYTMh1t7atvlrCE6nx_kmk5uwqbA (flash it via TWRP)
Beware though, there's no gapps in there (you might want to flash them too) and the rom is english/chinese only. There are chinese apps too (not a lot of them) and I found the keyboard awful to use.

Is it possible flash to R7plusf?

Yeah I'm still trying to figure out what's causing that. It's someone with the external storage permissions. When I have time I'll try and fix that bug. It doesn't affect anything it's just annoying and only pops up when going into Apps. I'm gonna also Deodex the ROM soon.

Is this in connection with this "SD card Label bug " ?
Any chance, as you have a 702L, by now, to have a version of your rom for this model ?
hi, great job!
I've a question:
flashing this ROM on a 702l, what about the lte bands available? I mean, the lte bands will be the 703 ones or the 702 ones?
Thanks a lot,

It supports the 702L but you have to be on B106 or higher. Yeah, it's the not being able to write to the SDCARD in Lollipop. It should be fixed in Marshmallow.

That is what I mean, do not support the B003 or B006
If I had understud well, we (the poor GEM702L owners) have: To flash a GEM703L Rom (B103 or higher), then flash this rom, them replace some XML to recover our 702 carrers, right ?
Very complicated and risky, not ?
I don't know if it is possible, but it should be Nice to have only one rom to flash, don't you think ?

Yeah it works on all models but you have to upgrade to B106 which requires you to flash the 703L software. I can make a 701L rom from B003 or B006 but that's extra work that I won't have time for right now.

We understand. (I was thinking about the 702L, that you told you have, rather than the 701.)
This said, I don't understand why Huawey complicate the things that way, it should be so simple for them to make the same model with a choice of the careers by software, if the hardware is the same for the 3 models.

Below guide is inspired from this CM13 post.
Unlock the Bootloader (Fastboot Mode = Vol. Up + Power)(Command: fastboot oem unlock)
* Flash a custom recovery (Command: fastboot flash recovery name.recovery.img)
Download AICP ROM and Open GApps (ARM64/7.1) and copy to the phone
Reboot to Recovery (Vol. Down + Power)
Do a Full Wipe (will delete everythings so make a copy of your file to the microSD card)
Flash AICP ROM
Flash GApps
Reboot the phone and wait (the first time will take a bit of time)
* Using twrp 3.0.2-0, there will be 2 red error lines when flashing - just ignore.

However, you can try with the official twrp. That's the one I link to from OP.

@Osleg reported rotating issue in the CM thread. I had it once on this ROM as well.
I was messing with stuff in "Developer options" and at a point the rotation totally broke. I wasn't able to revert the setting, so I flashed the ROM again and have not had the problem again.
I suspect the "Multi window mode" broke it, but it could be other things like a bad behaving theme.
Could you think of any specific changes you have made previous to your broken rotation ?
Aside from that, the build has been stable for me since 22. Feb.

Thanks. There may be something here on CMs Gerrit. We are not alone. Im thinking our v3.10 kernel or the vendor blobs are not yet able to cope 100% with MM and need some workarounds.
It will be fixed.

I don't know about moving apps yet. But you should be able to format the sdcard as ext4 and use it as internal data. I think you get the option to chose the first time you mount the sdcard. I'm sure there is a guide somewhere

Just got the latest from apkmirror once installed it shows in play store then when you uninstall on play store you get the option to install the 5.x.x version which works fine. I think the 6.x.x version is for the nexus at the moment.

Any damage done during the process is not of my responsibility. If you use this ROM you are aware that you need to know the basics of ROM flashing and anything bad that comes out from it it's all on your procedure and hand to take care of.

Since the faulty and non-optimized stock rom from UMIDIGI, i've been looking everywhere for ROMs based in our device specs to get a better user experience.
And that lead me to this ROM. NOA.
NOA H10 is a device that is sold in Croatia and is produced by UMIDIGI. The rest is left for them to work on and until now I noticed that even though it is a 6.0 ROM it still is better than UMIDIGI 6.0 stock ROM.
Enough of this monologue and let's get straight to the procedure.
Pre-requisites:
- Flashtools - here (scroll down until you find the latest version)
- NOA H10 ROM file - Latest MM version, Latest Nougat
- SN Writter - here (scroll down until you find the latest version) - this one is to use in case that if by any chance you loose your IMEI's number (if data and calls dont work after flash)
- Little to none skills on flashing ROM's
Instructions: - Umidigi Z Pro
1. Extract the Flashtools package anywhere you want;
2. Extract the ROM package just anywhere you want too;
3. Open the Flashtools folder and open the flash_tool.exe;
4. At this point, press the button "choose" on "Scatter-loading File" and go to the folder where you extracted your ROM files. Select the "MT6797_Android_scatter.txt" file;
5. Press "Download", and with your device turned off, connect it to the PC;
6. The flashing process will start and check message box will appear as soon as it finishes.
7. All set and done. The initial language will be Croatian but I think you will not have problems searching for your language from the first drop box menu that will appear.

NOTES and BUG FIXES:
Leave your feedback here as well as any bugs found. I might or not be able to fix them but at least everyone will be aware of them.
If you whant to install TWRP, do so. But right after installing TWRP, on first boot, go directly to TWRP and apply Supersu or Magisk. This way will prevent bootloop as reported by @DocwatZ

Every feature you had in UMIDIGI 6.0 you have in this one. Only slight differences. I will be posting later on stuff like battery graph's, antutu benchmark and if I find any bug I will report too. Just give me until tomorrow or so so that the battery stats can be created.

Still haven't tested it yet. But will after work and I will inform you on that matter.
Screenshots added and dont mind the fault of signal on wifi and RIL. The signal at my workstation is a true facepalm.
Rom installed...
It's working on Umidigi Z Pro.
I installed TWRP and that works but after coming out of recovery it no longer wants to boot.
Will re-flash and and keep testing.
FYI Camera software looks like Umidigi version. It's shame because the Gemini Pro version looks way better in my opinion.
Also... NOA have http://noa-mobile.eu/element/h10le smartphone on Preorder. Possible that the Android 7.1.1 rom from this handset will work on Z Pro to.
Keep up the good work peeps. The Z Pro users will be happy one day :good:

Which version of TWRP are you using?
I've re-flashed the ROM a couple of times. Now TWRP won't install at all. I have tried a number of times with SP flash tool but it seems to revert to original recovery.
Tried TWRP_310_UMI_Z.V3.01_20170116
and TWRP_303_UMI_Z.V3.01_20170116

quick update:
I had to reformat my device as I was palying with gemini pro camera files and when i tried to go back to NOA ones it force closed my app. So battery stats graphs will be updated tomorrow. I can advance that TWRP, Root and xposed is working well on this ROM. Camera quality is better too with this one (cant show comparison due to reformat of mobile and forgot to backup photos. Stay tuned!
hello, i have install 7.1.1 update after 6.0 stock umidigi. The real problem i have is the poor quality of the camera. I find it better when i use gemini pro rom 6.0 but the problem of lock screen forced me to return on umidigi rom. How is the focus of this rom for the camera ? The antutu score looks like wonderful ! is the phone better to use with Noa rom ?
---------- Post added at 02:55 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:16 PM ----------
do you think, when the rom will be release, it's possible to install 7.1.1 gemini or 7.1.1 noa le on z pro ?
Nobody try to install lineage os umi z on z pro ? it's just a question

Welcome scroful!
I'm aware of the 7.1.1 problems on the camera. With this ROM I made a test with Gemini Pro Camera and the camera from this ROM and despite I dont have the photos to proof I noticed that this NOA camera took photos a little bit better than Gemini. For now, everything is stable and Bluetooth works ok altough I need to do more tests as there was people complaining that UMIDIGI rom was unstable on bluetooth. Tomorrow I will feedback about this and battery. Just gonna let settle the ROM for today. Probably later I will create a Custom Rom of this with xposed, root and TWRP pre-installed.
So is there going to be Android 7.1 alternative?
Hi Guys,
I installed this NOA H10 rom yesterday, i see no different comparing to stock 6.0 umi z pro.
But the battery time is much better ! at the regular rom 6.0 or 7.1.1 i couldn't get passed 16 hours mixed, now i have 24 hours +-
no buggs found.

Sorry for the language it's in dutch. as you can see at the bottom of the battery app it says:
Actief (active), Standby (english alrdy), Gecombineerd (Combined/mixed)
This was the highest rating i could get today, now it's 22hours.. which is still almost 10 hours more than at regular umiz roms.

It's the stockest and the true android face. Its like the base of any android. Almost.

4.- Boot into ROM
5.- Install SuperSU-v2.79.apk (attached below)
Thank you for the ROM. It runs very smoothly and I've encountered no bugs at all so far. I did some additional debloating through TWRP and then added in the Google dialer and other apps and I've finally got a ROM that runs as close as possible to AOSP but still has the Edge and Spen features and none of the AOSP bugs. Again, thank you for sharing this.
Edit: Also, the GraceUI file from these boards works as well and doesn't cause the SystemUI FC. I like the Blue/White scheme a lot better than the blue/neon green of the stock UI, I just flashed through TWRP.

Thanks a lot for ur feedback and im glad u liked the ROM... i might be adding some more stuff in the next release, and i'll try to debloat it a little bit more, probably take out the Tmo apps and put it in a separate package for those users who dont want them in the ROM.
Most of my debloating efforts were around removing the stock Samsung apps and TMO stuff since I'm not using TMO and loaded the pixel/Google apps in place of the stock ones. I do love that the ROM is not rooted though. It's easy enough to debloat in TWRP and things rarely seem to unroot completely.

Great ROM!! One thing I wanted to request: Is it possible to make SELinux permissive?? I use Viper4Android and this is the one thing that prevents me from using it on this ROM.
Let me know... thanks!!

Service Menu Help Please!
Killer Stock ROM !
Only one issue is: I have one Major Question, How to unlock Service menu & Band Menu? *#Service# & *#BAND# ?
These open, but show nothing. Most work, but the most important. Other ROMs worked. I also have /EFS/carrier/HiddenMenu=ON . That Samsung Phone Info+ app frequently crashes when parsing codes, like something missing from the phone??
PS:Also the "AT&T trick" *#0011# hit menu>back>menu> Q >Menu or 0000, 0 doesn't work...
PSS: Any ETA on the OP post about carrier free edition?

This would require a custom kernel... usually, stock kernels are Enforced... we would have to find someone to create a custom kernel

A HUGE mess
A HUGE mess with:
1) Xposed install
2) SafteyNet
3) Google Play Store “Uncertified” status
Been using this [ROM][6.0.1][DQG1] efebedge [915T][0819] by efebe and love it. At the beginning I uninstalled Xposed thinking that I would not need to use it. Then many months later I started doing reading on SafteyNet and also UNCERTIFIED status in the Google play store even though this is a STOCK modified rom. With a PURE stock carrier ROM with no root there is NO PROBLEM with SafteyNet and Uncertified status. But hey, I LOVE my device rooted and I HATE PURE stock carrier ROMS! NO FUN at all.
What I discovered currently as of 3/27/18 is a huge mess. A battle between developers and Google. YOU REALLY NEED TO READ THE POST “Hiding root: a losing game - rant du jour” posted at:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/supersu/suhide-lite-t3653855
So I spent days trying BOTH Magisk vs suhide. Results: Both are a MESS ! Both not working. Both are broken. I QUIT !
Then I came across a simple solution. Use Xposed and then install a module called “No Device Check”. PROBLEMS SOLVED ! (see results images below)
Reference reading only:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/supersu/suhide-lite-t3653855/page88
If you do a FRESH install of this ROM you will find that Xposed is broken. Bootloop. Finding an Xposed Framwork and Xposed Manager that works was a long long task. To succeed, Get Xposed Installer by dvdandroid and use Xposed Framework version 86.0-alt (custom build by wanam). Success !
You need the following:
files at: https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=37508
(also attached)
1) TWRP installed Xposed FRAMEWORK: xposed-v86.0-alt-sdk23-arm-custom-build-by-wanam-20160710.zip
2) XposedInstaller_by_dvdandroid_25_12_17.apk

[SHARED] Custom ROMS 11/12.1/13 (NOT GSI)

It is built by an unofficial maintainer named "moghn", they have been built rom based on Sjll's device tree since the end of 2021. And has successfully ported some sony features, such as creator mod, stock sony camera, sony sound, battery care, etc to their recent builds of Evolution X.
They have built Los 18.1, and Evolution X for android 12/12.1/13 and so on. However, since they didn't post on XDA, I would just mentioned such roms existed.

However, once again, they didn't post on Xda, so I guess they have their own reason.
But i don't have account for Coolapk so no way to contact them.
And in fact there are also some MIUI or Flyme android 11 based rom made by others in the forum. Again, NOT gsi.
How to get his? lol. I just want the latest android on my xperia.
Just quick study some for their post. seems that they use the GSI image and Xperia 5 image with the binary image to flash Xperia 1.
And still some bug like camera not work, no alarm, cellular or SMS not work.
May I have direct links to this?

Oh well, it is definitely not that case. It is NOT a GSI or any kind........as it is not based on the Sony binary. As I stated, it is a rom based on Sjll's device tree. It works perfectly fine. Camera works (although mine didn't work, due to hardware damage issue), the post they showed with stock Sony camera is a presentation of a sucessfully port. And unless you are using the Japeness Ver, there is no way the SMS service don't work (In my photo there is no any is because I didn't insert one). The only problem I have met is that the format of SD card is only support FAT32.

Link to the Chinese cloud drive
Password: EvCT
Mind few things:
1. The link will expired if it meet the view capacity, which set by the drive service provider.
2. You need an account to download that, which requires a Chinese mainland phone number.
3. You might need an 'excellent' (I can't really know how to define that) network to download it. Because (1) if you didn't download it within a fixed time, the download will be cancelled. Possibly due to the a potential restrcition to non-China mainland IP. (2) In my case, the download speed is incredibly slow, so it is very likely you will encounter the first aforementioned situation.
4. It only supports Chinese language.
I personally recommended you reaches out the developer and get the link. But I can't share their profile link, because (1) Coolapk doesn't support that, (2) It is only accessible in the Coolapk APP. (3) The regesitration of Coolapk account also requires a phone number, with a quick check, it seems like it support non-China phone number.
If you want to try this way, then, after you download the Coolapk APP, just simply search their username 'moghn', and you can go to their profile page.

I just stumbled on this thread and it appears I'm too late to download the EvoX rom. Is there any chance you could upload it again for those of us who didn't notice? I really am tired of the stock rom. Please help if you can.

@JaneValley, do you have the most recent build? It appears the one you posted is from 07-05-22 or 05-07-22 and is not the same as the 09-09-22 build you have posted a thread about.

That is Android 13, and it is an initial build and has some system interface bugs
And yes this is not the latest A12L build, but second to last, GApps included.
It is a July build
The audio bug is occurred as I read some comment.
