Device : moto g 2015 (moto g3)
OS: Mashmallow (Android 6)
I purchased this new set and purchased a diary cover for it (kind of flip case). The locking of the phone while closing the cover worked fine for a day but then suddenly it stopped working. I am not sure if this is because of any update in phone or some setting change. But the phone is completely response-less on flip closing or opening.
Please help.

Hi Everyone
I am using indian version of Moto G (Dual Sim) with Kitkat Vers. 4.4.2. :victory:
Also, purchased a Nillkin Fresh Leather Flip Diary Cover Case For Motorola Moto G. (see image)
Now, benefit of this case is that it has a cut out on the top side of the flip (see image), so that whenever there is an incoming call, caller id should be visible in that cut out. This was the primary reason to buy such an overpriced case.
It also locks the screen when you close the flip and wakes up the screen when you open the flip. Smart thing to have !:good:
But, unfortunately the screen remains off whenever there is an incoming call, it remians off until you open the flip. Ideally screen should wake up for incoming call even if the proximity sensor is blocked until you answer the call. Its definitely the proximity sensor at work but its not serving the purpose of the cut out.
If any one noticed the same issue and has a solution to the problem, please feel free to answer or PM me ! Would be highly Obliged !
same issue with me plz tell the solution
hi
same with me please anyone tell the solution
Grab a magnet and try the following: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_KL60gf_hU
If this works for you the issue is related with the cover.
I bought the same cover and I faced same problem ,,, any solution please .
If you are rooted, you can try this xposed mod.

I've just added an setting checkbox to wake the phone if it's ringing.
Moto G - Screen does not wake in Flip Case.
hi anish.awalkar ..have you got the solution?
i bought moto g pay and go from o2 network in the uk. i watched some video on youtube and saw that moto g with 4.4 kitkat have a quick camera access button on the right bottom in the lock screen. Funny thing is that mine doesn't show that button althought it already update to 4.4 kitkat ( about phone section shows that). any ideals, please ? :silly:
Hello,
I bought the 'created N7',
a 7 inch phablet that is like the ulefone u7/tronsmart ps7/luftco a onex/orientphone mega pro 7 etc..., and is sold by the factory with 4.4.2 installed
I found a bug in this product
The bug is about the bad working of the s-view window.
I link here a video where is possible to see how it should work:
http://youtu.be/lk1P9jziw64
The problem is that with the created N7 it is not possible to answer
to the calls without opening the flip cover:
when the N7 receive a call, the s-view window is not sensitive, so it
is not possible to answer
The sview with cover closed is sensitive only for a few seconds after the cover has ben closed, specifically only before the sview goes in standby (black screen)...after the standby, wakening the phone by a call or simply pressing the power button (without opening the cover) the sview seems not sensitive
These are two videos that shows the problem:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EG6D...e_gdata_player
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-By6...e_gdata_player
This should be fixed, because is an important feature that is missing:
the phones like N7 of other brands (like ulefone u7/u69, luftco a-one
x, tronsmart ps7, orientphone mega pro 7) instead have a fully
functional s-view window
I already informed some created online sellers (kent wang, peter
yang... ) about this bug,
they told me that they will contact the engineer... but i have
not answer yet...i think they are not able to solve this problemi...
A seller told me that they send the leather case for free,
Its a gift , so i cannot ask them to fix this problem
Can someone help me to fix this problem?
I tried installing firmware of other device (luftco a onex 4.4.2)
But nothing has changed ...(and by the way i found that the luftco firmware
does not fit with my n7...the camera does not work with it)
Any hint?
Any suggestion?
I did some tests i found that actually the sview is sensitive also after the standby, but not enought to feel the touches through the screen...
in the settings there is an option 'increase touch sensitivity to allow the control through sview screen',
seems that this high sensitivity status is not reactivated if the cover is not opened after the phone goes to standby...
How can i fix this problem? perhaps some fix on touch drivers is needed?
Please help me!
Thank you!
excuse me, I beg info regarding the problem on my own moto g (xt1033)
my moto g often restart itself, playing games or browsing or chat, suddenly restart
My friends say that it must be in a flash back, because it could be crash
However, I have a flash back was just like that
each time experiencing restart, appeared logo "M" at the beginning of the boot, the screen immediately "blank" blue
always like that until a couple of times, but the condition has a flash back
I also have come to the service center, the solution is just a flash back or check the machine
approximation, where is the problem?
is there any of you here who have experienced the same thing with me?
* lollipop is now already at 5.0.2, has a flash back to the same os
** I am sorry if my english is too bad: D
When I take my LG G3 a year ago it was with Android 4.
I used a flip cover not original (not QuickCircle). When I closed the cover the phone screen automatically went off, thanks to the proximity sensor.
In the next week I touch the phone configuration and I don't know why the screen off stop working when I closed the cover.
I can't fix this problem so I used an App, AutoScreen OnOff, that allows me to have the same behavior. But the app spents a bit of charge.
Same mounts ago I downloaded Android 5.0 and the problem was fixed. I had the screen off without the App, when I closed the cover.
Last days I check (my language phone is in Italian):
impostazioni-->Custodia QuickCircle-->Auto-sblocco
and it stop working again. Probably this is the setting that brokes the setting last time too.
There is no way (setting and removing the QuickCircle setting) to fix the problem, so I have to use the app AutoScreen OnOff again.
How can I fix it making working as before I touched that flag?
My configuration is:
Android 5.0
build LRX21R
version SW F400L20o
