Can you post a fastboot getvar all ?

You need to find an official RUU and run that to revert back to stock. Also, you should S-Off any HTC phone that has the ability/support if you are going to be playing with it. $25 with Sunshine saves a lot of hassles/headaches.
Once you S-off, you can change the CID/Model and flash the more common/supported US unlocked version of the Rom and firmware.

I hv not found CN RUU by now
it seem only US ane EU RUU

OK here is the situation. There is no RUU to easily return your phone to stock.
There is however an RUU for 1.12.1405.25 but since you re S-ON you cannot use it yet.
Your options are:
1. Flash twrp custom recovery
2. Using twrp flash the only custom Rom that exists (check development section).
Optionally after that you can:
1. Buy a sunshine license and gain S-OFF
2. Flash the 1.12.1405 RUU and be stock again
or
Change CID and MID to European for example and flash the 1.10.401.7 RUU

@mython do NOT post imei !!!!
XTC2CLIP can S-off your phone directly - then you may change cid/mid and flash any rom you prefer
sunshine is no option for you (no system)

@Ivanovic
I was reading this thread and I just want to thank you for providing the information needed.
I have a question and hope you could help me in that.
I already own the 16GB model with software number 1.27.401.5 (bought it from UAE and supports arabic language for the keyboard). Now am getting another one but 32GB version (bought it from Snapdeal, an Indian site) and someone who bought it from there told me that the software number is 1.27.707.5.
I searched google for 1.27.707.5 and it apears to be for Asia Pacific with cidnum HTC__044 and HTC__038, whereas the one I have (1.27.401.5) has the cidnum HTC__001, HTC__034, HTC__J15, HTC__M27, HTC__A07, HTC__002, HTC__016. As far as I can remember (from my old HTC desire and HTC One M7), the cidnum HTC__J15 is for the middle east.
Since I still didn't get the 32GB version (shipment delay), here are my questions:
1. According to your experience, does the cidnum have anything to do with the keyboard language? As I need arabic for keyboard typing and english for the phone language, so I just want to make sure.
2. As you mentioned earlier, CID and MID can be changed to a specific region, what is the point of changing that?
Thank you

flash an RUU - go into hboot and find out what ROM version you were running before (by using fastboot getvar mainversion) then find an RUU with the same or higher version number and download then run it.

Hi,
I am not sure why you are trying to flash the PG58IMG
Can you not change the text file in the PG58IMG and then run the RUU from your PC.
Make sure your phone is in fastboot, then connect your USB cable,(it should say "fastboot USB" ) then, run the RUU.

Hi,
You do not need to extract the PG58IMG
Just open it,change it,and close it.
It remains zipped, and you can run the RUU.

Btw another question, is there a way for me to charge my phone because my battery says its below 30% if I try to install an RUU
Paste the output for
Code:
fastboot getvar all
Remove the IMEI number & serial number from the output.
I'll link you to the right RUU or tell you what else you can try.
For now, don't do anything else.
You cannot flash a modified RUU because you are S-ON; so changing the android-info file will not help.

I don't think there is any O2 ICS RUU let alone 3.32 & you're S-ON, so can't flash a lower RUU.
But fortunately, all is not lost. Let's try this.
Please type these commands one after the other & paste the whole output for everything:
Code:
fastboot oem writecid HTC__001
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot getvar cid
It's okay if any of them fail, you must execute all three commands one after the other & paste the output.

[Q] K2_UL breaked during official update, what can I do?

Hi everyone
I decided to update my HTC one sv using wifi, but after reboot, the cell phone stay on htc logo.
I can go to bootloader but not recovery, it seams official recovery is damaged.

Thanks alot for your reply but I don't know where to start. For example which ruu is suitable for my device?
Or can I unlock the bootloader at this situation to install custom rom in case of unavailability of suitable ruu rom?

If your phone is locked and S-On (and never was unlocked S-off), you should think about returning for warranty.
The warranty period is already expired. Another solution?

More information about your phone model, please!
I dont think he can use an RUU. Last I checked, the available RUU's for you guys is based on ICS. Because he is S-On he can't use it since it would require downgrading. Would need to be S-Off to do that.
If there is a JB RUU for you guys then he is good to go, but I haven't seen one yet.

That I do not know, but if my memory serves me right, there was a thread either in android development or general sections with the latest OTAs. You might wanna search for that...

You've already got the link to my index thread, but it seems you are to lazy to have a look at it. You even only need to watch for the software number and you will easily find what you are searching for.
Os intallation failed
i tried to install OTA update through TWRP recovery , but it failed
You can't flash this in recovery. Use TWRP recovery and flash the rom (not the Ota). Links are in my index thread.
Installed rom
Sucessfully instaled Viper SV rom,
but still phone did not booting,
Did you also flash boot.img of the rom in fastboot?
no
I missed to boot boot.img,
Now phone is working perfectly...........
Thanks all........specially old.splatterhand & thearif

Hi all,
I'm new in this forum so I post there.
My problems starts after try to updete htc one sv k2_ul. After update I get red triangle and then my phone freezed on white screen with logo.
Try to do factory reset from bootloader, but nothing happen. After few days looking information I unlock bootloader and try flash new boot, but after that I get Tampered. I found if I must s-off, but how I can get it? My pc found phone only on fastboot mode. Any ideas?

You can't get S-off, without working OS.
You don't have an OS anymore on your phone?
Are you running a custom recovery like TWRP?
Run this fastboot cmd and copy the output here (remove your imei & serial number):
Code:
fastboot getvar all

I flashed TWRP and I make restore, but phone won't start anyway. Maybe need to flash new os?
Flash the stock rom in TWRP, and don't forget to flash boot.img of the rom in fastboot.
Links are in my index thread.
Make a backup in recovery (just in case) and a wipe (advanced -> everything except int & ext sdcard) before.

Something I make wrong. I flashed TWRP, then installed ViperSV, phone restarted and booted TWRP. Then I found boot.img in yours index thead.
Then in fastboot flashed new boot, but phone still booting in TWRP. What I make wrong?
You need to flash the boot.img thats inside the ViperSV.zip, not any from my index thread.

Problem with Custom Roms

Hi there i tested these ROMS on mine HTC One S Ville S4 (International).
Here the Results:
Maximus 10.0.0 - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2445392
I´ve followed all steps but no luck, the phone reach splash screen and all i get is all 3 lights on the bottom and a green on the top illuminated.
LIBERTY ROM - The Sixth Element 4.4.2/4.4.3
Almost the same situation with Maximus Rom but with Black splash screen this time on the 2 versions of this Rom
At the moment i have the ViperOneS 3.2.0 but i would like test other Roms.

you need a specific hboot to try the rom. i think is 2.15 and you have 1.13.. so..... i think that is the problem.
first of all you'd update all that is possible to lates ver. (hboot, recovery), may be you should try hboot 2.16 and roms for it...

You will need to update HBOOT to version 2.15 or 2.16 depending on which rom you want to install. HTC__304 is Europe/Spain so the Europe RUU should be fine for you. Its pretty easy:
Download FIRMWARE HBOOT 2.15
Extract the included recovery and flash it using fastboot:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Relock your bootloader (in case it's actually locked)
fastboot oem lock
Then flash the firmware215.zip:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip firmware215.zip
fastboot flash zip firmware215.zip (First time you probably get an error, so just retype the command!!!)
fastboot reboot-bootloader (to get back into bootloader mode)

He's S-On, are you sure it'll work like this? Flashing firmware is not possible unless you're S-Off. He should first try to achieve S-Off via rumrunner or other method (since he's already using Viper or a close-to-stock ROM). Then he might try flashing 2.15/2.16 firmware

You can unlock it at any time, but you will have to lock it before upgrade the firmware.

I'm glad you finally made it. HBOOT 2.16 works with S-OFF only, thats why I uploaded 2.15. As @Rapier mentioned earlier, you can use rumrunner.us for easily getting S-OFF
Mind you that hboot 2.16 gives you shared internal storage. E.g. all free space is available to all partitions. This may come tot be necessary for you if flashing lollipop roms since the "foot print" of installed aps on lollipop becomes much larger. This has to do with runtime environment... Kitkat runs with Dalvik Cache whereas Lollipop runs with the Android Runtime aka ART.
So, staying on hboot 2.15 give you the old partition layout with approx. 1 GByte(??) free for apps and 7 as internal SD.
While hboot 2.16 serves all your free internal storage to all partitions. This saves you headache of internal space for apps running out.
(Someone may deel to fill in the technical gaps i left in)
Cheers , happy hboot 2.16 user.

Bricked my U11 - Stuck in Download/Bootloader

Hello,
i hope some of you got an idea for fixing my problem.
1. One month ago i unlocked my bootloader and tested LeeDrOiD U11 V3.1.0 R107 because i had some problems with the camera and the battery. LeeDrOiD does'nt fixed the problems because it seems like a hardware battery problem.
2. After a few days i roled back to stock rom with my TWRP Backup without any new problems.
3. The battery problems are very irritating, so I decided to lock the bootloader and ship it to HTC. After saving my data with TWRP i locked the bootloader via fastboot. The status of the bootloader is no "Relocked".
4. The relocking of the bootloader the device booted without problems until the screen poped up: Your phone is encrypted. (i did not configured this before)
Status:
I can't fix the enryption problem. I have -5 try's left... i don't know how this can happen
I can't get into recovery because i get a Screen with: Your device is corrupt. It can't be trusted and will not boot
I tested a lot of RUU's and stock recovery's from the Google Docs Spreadsheet "HTC U11 - RUU/Firmware/Recovery/OTA Collection"
Tried
Flash the RUU. Every RUU i tested is denied because theres a "Security Version Problem"
Flash Recovery (stock and twrp) = Bootloader Locked

For future reference, relocking the bootloader too early did this.
You can only do that after running the exact correct RUU for your version of U11 so that
you end up with stock recovery and locked system.

Is it possible to fix this problem with the right RUU or is the device bricked and only HTC can fix it?
I fixed the Problem. I downloaded again the correct RUU from google spreadsheet and copied it into the root of a micro sd card and boot to download mode. (rename the RUU file to 2PZCIMG.zip)

Please help
I have the exact same problem. I tried to do my do-diligence and have searched the forums and google for days trying to find a solution. All I wanted to do was install TWRP and relock the bootloader. I understand my mistake was relocking to quickly. Its now soft bricked with a locked bootloader and am only able to access bootloader and download. I have been unable to find the correct RUU for my model:

Can anyone help? I would greatly appreciate it. This device was supposed to be a birthday gift. Messed it up good.

How about trying to install another recovery over the top of the old one see if that works, or just flash the correct ruu in download mode and just start over
