Stuttering Audio on games in Cyanogenmod 12.1 - T-Mobile LG G2

So I flashed the 30b Bootstack and CM 12.1.
Everything is working wonderfully so far EXCEPT:
3D games (so far I've tried Crossy Road and Pako car chase simulator) have corrupted sounding audio. Youtube and Music is perfectly fine.
After some research I found other people were having this effect with CM 11 on their Galaxy S III's. I couldn't find any sort of fix however.
Has this happened to anyone? Does anyone know of a workaround? I'm hoping not to have to flash anything else considering my device is all set up and I actually like CM 12.1's additional settings.

[rant] ROM that works completely?

Man I wish I were capable of cooking a ROM myself and stripping out the parts of other ROMs that work and compiling them together.
I'm on Sprint, xt897c CDMA, I've tried stock/rooted, CM10.1 stable, CM10.2 M snapshot, various CM10.x nightlies, and a couple of the latest PACman nightlies. Every single one of them has things working that others don't, and something not working that I can't live without:
Stock/rooted - need a good/easy way to wifi tether to my Nexus 7 tablet and laptop. Wifi tether app in the play store doesn't work like it does on other phones I've had. JB-style quick settings and notification widgets would be nice too, but mainly this is missing the wifi tether. I could live with it if it had that. However I really want to be running something CM-based...
CM10.1 - Everything runs great on the stable build - its fast, stable, has all the features I want, but there's a problem with the phone audio. My phone first and foremost needs a stable phone. There's a high-pitched whine/hiss in both the speaker and mic that makes phone calls annoy the far end, give me a headache, and makes speaker phone all but unusable. Its also there when recording videos and it stays with the video when its transferred off the phone.
CM10.2 - Same issue as above, plus it hangs on bootloader after the first reboot. Every version I've tried.
PACman - Phone calls sound great - no audio issues. All the features I want. But it's not stable. If I'm listening to music in Apollo and switch to Maps, Apollo just terminates (not FC, just closes like the memory manager killed it or something). Same thing with many other apps (Strava recording segments, etc.). Also the GPS lock is terrible or non-existent.
Ideally I'd like to solve the audio issue with CM10.1 or that and the reboot hang on 10.2. If anyone knows of fixes for these I'd be immensely grateful. I've seen others refer to them but no concrete confirmation or a fix mentioned...

Try Carbon, try AOKP... try Slimbean. What else... PA? I can't think of any others which have been ported to our device.
Try other ROM's, and I can assure you the ROM's will get better with time - although it's odd you have a high pitched whine in CM but not PAC. I've heard some report that whine, and I was under the impression that all the aftermarket/custom ROM's suffered from that issue.
Either way, CM11 is shaping up to be pretty solid - although I have had a few random reboots, not sure what the issue there was. Mostly when using Google Music in airplane mode/no service areas.
@cmags: As far as I was able to reproduce it, the high pitch whine/buzz was caused by MICBIAS CAPLESS Switch enabled and I've addressed this issue for CM-10.2 branch here: http://review.cyanogenmod.org/51949
I have no issues using speaker phone (I'm running cm-10.2 and cm-11.0 on my two Qs).
Regarding the noise in the high frequency range in camcorder recordings, I'm still not sure about the cause nor a solution for it. (I mean the pure noise, not the whine here).
Regarding the hang after first reboot, I'm not able to reproduce it and the logs from users I've seen so far were not very helpful.
I suspect that it may be caused by the timing of the mounting of internal partitions, but I'm not sure yet.
I'd welcome /proc/last_kmsg captured in recovery after such failed boot.
Thanks for the helpful replies fellas. @kabaldan I'll test out your latest branch and grab logs if I experience the issue.

The latest skrilax build of CM10.2 seems to have resolved the audio issue. I was even able to restore my CM10.1 nandroid, flash 10.2 over the top (along with new gapps) and keep my data/settings. Thanks guys for the help!

Bluetooth Metadata & Connectivity Issues

I'm running my OnePlus One and I've had this issue since the first CM12 update to Lollipop, but with the recent OTA claiming to have fixed "Bluetooth" issues and this still isn't fixed I'd really like to know if theres a solution.
Basically I have an aftermarket Pioneer headunit. When I start the car and it attempts to connect to the phone, the phone takes almost a full minute before it connects. Prior to lollipop it would connect in 2-3 seconds.
I stream music from my phone using Spotify and Google Play Music, using either has tons of stuttering over Bluetooth. Atleast once every minute or so, it will stutter for a second or two.
And finally, the radio only ever sees the song information for the first track that plays from when the phone connects. Skipping songs, restarting the app won't change the song data that's being sent out. The only thing I can do to update is to restart the phone and it will get stuck again. This is by far my biggest gripe because it worked fine on KitKat and JellyBean for me on CM11.
I really like Lollipop but neither CM12 or OxygenOS has solved this issue for me. Right now all I can think of is just flashing an older CM11 rom but I'd like to know of any alternatives, whether that be a different ROM or whatever. I've also read up that someone just flashed an older CM11 radio/modem onto CM12, but I don't know if that was a solution, there was no follow up post.
It does this with nearly every aftermarket radio I've paired my phone with (friend's cars etc.)

FIXED! On MY OPO No Nougat ROMs Have Front Speaker (Earpiece) Audio During Phone Call

On MY OPO No Nougat ROMs Provide Front Speaker (Earpiece) Audio During Phone Call--Only Speakerphone Works.
Using TWRP 3.0.2-0, I have installed almost every available Nougat ROM, with varying degrees of GApps, and my phone doesn't have a working front speaker (earpiece) during calls with any of them, using either the stock dialer, or the Google Phone downloaded from the Play Store.
If your phone is behaving the same way, please post your logcats here along with a brief description of what you've tried to fix it, or what did fix it.
Also, if you are experiencing this issue, did you ever use Msm8974DownloadTool.exe to recover from a HARD BRICK? I'm looking for something in common with other phones with this issue, and so far this is the only thing I can think of that could possibly make my phone different from any other phones in which the front speaker does work.
Hopefully, someone has a fix, or will see something reparable.
Thanks,
pbergonzi

EDIT:
FIXED:
As of 2016/11/02, ROM's are coming with the front speaker (earpiece) working properly.
If you don't plan on using any newer Nougat ROM, or if yours doesn't work, you might try the fix @kwoktopus provided in his post:

Don't know how to log cat, but, I have never used Msm8974DownloadTool.exe before and am getting the same issue with the ear piece. I did however find a 7.1 rom that worked, but the video recorder didn't work. I used the tuga 7.1 rom yesterday, earpiece worked, I'm using Nitrogen OS today, earpiece is not working. I hope this helps someone find a solution... I don't think a logcat would help from this rom and I don't feel like flashing back and forth. Everything else on this rom is working flawlessly.
Just noticed you have a tutorial linked on how to logcat, but like I said, I'm on a rom with the same issue so I don't feel like it would help. Try Tuga or whatever it's called and see if you can get it to work.
I have the exact same issue on all Nougat ROMs I tried (Slim7, PureNexus, etc.). Both the earpiece and microphone does not work in calls. The only way I could hear the other person and the other person could hear me was when I was on Speaker or using headsets.
I have now switched back to M. Will send my logcat after I install N again.
After @Hig13's response, I reinstalled TugaPower N3 and N4, and both worked with the front speaker! I'm very glad, thank you @danieldmm.
I hope other devs are able to implement what he has done.
I'm not finished with N ROM's yet though.
Edit: As of 2/11/2016, TugaPower N4 ROM has working video recording. Big congrats to danieldmm.

Audio stuttering/crackling

Hi!
I just got my mi5s+ which I love.
But I have a strange issue, whether I'm running a stock MIUI ROM or a AOSP/LOS ROM (Oreo):
When I'm playing any audio, I have some weird stutters/crackling randomly.
It happens both on speaker and bluetooth headphones. It happens on Apple Music/Spotify/Local media. Sometimes it even happens with notifications.
I noticed that it gets worse when I'm downloading a file in my phone or when I'm running a heavy/poorly optimized app like snapchat. I was thinking it maybe it was a bad
I haven't installed any audio mod. Tried various firmware. Kernel settings are on stock. I've tried factory reset, wiping cache
Do you have the same issue? Is there any fix? When I've done some researches I've noticed it's a common problem on xiaomi devices and I haven't found any good fix...
It's such a shame a device that powerful can't play audio properly...
I've personally only had audio stuttering if I have too much running at once. but at that point, the whole phone feels clunky.
and when I say too much, I mean to the point where the phone is hardly usable - everything is delayed.
I also mostly use google play OR the built in MIUI music app. I do have Viper4Android installed, so it could be cleaning up the crackling.
