I have a LG G Stylo (Canadain) modle number LG-H636
i rooted mt phone and after a day i unrooted it . Now when i try to update my phone it wont update cz it say its suspected of rooting.
How can i flash the stock rom for this phone ? and where can i download the stock rom for this model ?like how can i get it back to normal and then update ? plz help

5.1.1 is available, but I haven't updated. I am not able to attain root and don't wish to make it harder with an update. Otherwise, the system runs stable at 5.0.2
I have 5.0.2 and don't notice many bugs if any. Battery life is excellent l, 2-3 days if not used much.
I have a fido lg Stylo h636 and want to update too but I've rooted with king root. What a mistake because now I can't update. Any fix for this?

Use this link, but replace "IMEI" with your imei. You can get it by dialing *#06#. This should give you a link to a kdz file

there is a H636 KDZ files , so i believe i do will be safe if you give it a shot about trying either of the Root Methods and if you manage to get Root access someone from the Stylo scene can help and port TWRP for you guys.

KDZ are like Factory Device Restore File, having the KDZ is like a having a Doctor next to you when come to Un-brick/Full Restore/Unroot you device , I don't know which LP version this KDZ is but if this v10i is 5.1.1. and you are on 5.0.2 you'll be like Updating your device to the Latest android/software available on your carrier.

doesn't matter which version you have the KDZ method (which is not mine btw ) will still work but in this case i don't know if v10K is actually a better update than v10i.

i reostred my phone using the method u tolled me before , and i restored it to the version 10i. But the andriod version is still on 5.0.2 everytime i check for update it say there is no update. isnt there 5.1.1 update for this ?
if i want to restore my phone again can i install the 10j version on it ? mine is the Canadian version phone.

try using the v10k KDZ that's the latest software firmware for you device,
P.S. i don't know which LP version is v10k but i know is the latest release.

YES, using KDZ method will erase all/every trace of root/custom recovery and all that so you'll be able to get OTA's
I just got it yesterday and I look around the forum and notice that there's nearly any rom out for my model.
I'm currently running v10b 5.0.1 and this phone gets lag sometimes.
I was wondring if I can update this model to a newer version .

No, you can't, unless you are LG's director.

Well,i have H955 version and had 5.1.1 from beginning (although i received some fix update shortly after). Try it thru OTA update,that should work always

The firmware update itself is released. But there is no flashable firmware. And most likely they won't be one.

The update was released via OTA so for now the only two ways to have the official update would be to be in the USA with an AT&T sim card and unrooted device, the other way is that someone that already got the update pull the system, boot, cust... partitions from their updated phones and upload them so somebody can make a flashable zip and have the ability to root the stock marshamallow for the D850...

Due to it will be a TOT file. The last Official flashable firmware for the D850 was Kitkat I believe. As well as like the G4 it took 6 months to get a TOT file, and that was only got due to someone from the inside.

But someone created a flash-able stock bump'd lollipop rom for D850. Is it not possible to get a flashable zip of stock MM rom of att and install it through TWRP..

There is NEVER a kdz only tot files and tot method. If AT&T released kdz files that would put a end to the problem. But they do not. Every single LG device from AT&T and sprint is a tot file.
Modem + OS File from TWRP .. like we use to do for Lollipop ?

Dude just flash Fulmics in the LG-G3 thread runs nice on my D850. Its full stock MM with extras.

I'm on fulmics and I love it... but it would be great if we can get the official MM kernel for the D850 (it would mean faster boot time since it is not ported from the D855) and maybe the modem if it doesn't have conflicts with the bootloader of lollipop...

But there is no kdz for F510 on the internet.

Do not try it even if tot or kdz is available for that..
H950 has qfuse set and anything that is qfuse<1 ie 0 will hard brick the device..
I just hope that there will be some exploit that can give us custom recovery and kernel someday..
However kernel hijacking is a possibility but devs with enough knowledge arent interested in this device ...
Also MM may not have root simply also due to dm_verity in kernel..
For us h950 users outside USA there may never be a MM either...
I was wondering if we all take it to twitter to demand a solution for custom kernel bombing their twitter we may get a good response
We can even say our devices heat up so much that it reaches temp of 60-70+ so we need to modify vdd freely for all g flex 2...
They may acknowledge the sd810 problem and send a method to unlock all variants..

i dont know if it works, i see in another thread someone asking for flash h955 over f510l and the only thing they say is the modem driver maybe dont work, you will dont have network connection...but maybe the rom works.

NO! This is for Korean models only, if you install this you will lose network conectivity and other features...so, is better to wait a week to have the right one to your model...in my case is the H960A too.

LOL! you are gettin' the same reaction as me, no big deal update, some "little" changes but nothing really new...
The better thing we get is the UX and fresh design apps.
But maybe better performance and better battery management.
Second screen should see some improvements but again nothing new, maybe we get the same treatment as V20 have in this aspect. DPI change in the second screen to put more words are welcome...
Lets wait and see if some of our Korean friends (or the people who have the Korean bariants over here) say anything in the next days about pros and cons of this update.

I have a LG V10 F600L running on Android 5.1.1.
I bought this phone used and when I bought it, it was already rooted. I don't have any experience with this sort of thing and I don't really want my finances to be burdened with replacing a phone if I accidentally brick it.
I know its a lot to request but can anyone take the time tell me how exactly I should proceed? What steps should I take? what guides I should follow? etc.
I have literally never touched the technical aspects of a phone's OS and firmware, etc. in my life before. But I really do want to update and will follow all instructions and precautions.

I thought it's hongkong but i think it's international version. My apologies
