I have a LG G Stylo (Canadain) modle number LG-H636
i rooted mt phone and after a day i unrooted it . Now when i try to update my phone it wont update cz it say its suspected of rooting.
How can i flash the stock rom for this phone ? and where can i download the stock rom for this model ?like how can i get it back to normal and then update ? plz help

5.1.1 is available, but I haven't updated. I am not able to attain root and don't wish to make it harder with an update. Otherwise, the system runs stable at 5.0.2
I have 5.0.2 and don't notice many bugs if any. Battery life is excellent l, 2-3 days if not used much.
I have a fido lg Stylo h636 and want to update too but I've rooted with king root. What a mistake because now I can't update. Any fix for this?

there is a H636 KDZ files , so i believe i do will be safe if you give it a shot about trying either of the Root Methods and if you manage to get Root access someone from the Stylo scene can help and port TWRP for you guys.

KDZ are like Factory Device Restore File, having the KDZ is like a having a Doctor next to you when come to Un-brick/Full Restore/Unroot you device , I don't know which LP version this KDZ is but if this v10i is 5.1.1. and you are on 5.0.2 you'll be like Updating your device to the Latest android/software available on your carrier.

doesn't matter which version you have the KDZ method (which is not mine btw ) will still work but in this case i don't know if v10K is actually a better update than v10i.

i reostred my phone using the method u tolled me before , and i restored it to the version 10i. But the andriod version is still on 5.0.2 everytime i check for update it say there is no update. isnt there 5.1.1 update for this ?
if i want to restore my phone again can i install the 10j version on it ? mine is the Canadian version phone.

try using the v10k KDZ that's the latest software firmware for you device,
P.S. i don't know which LP version is v10k but i know is the latest release.

YES, using KDZ method will erase all/every trace of root/custom recovery and all that so you'll be able to get OTA's

I got some problem after try different solution to upgrade the stock 443 to 5 in this model, I used t mobile now but t mobile ver is d851, so no kdz for d850 but I found d850pr, I try it phone call do it well, hotspot ok, data jump a lot from band to band or still just in one, I still try it before do something else

I'm trying to find the stock firmware LGD850AT-00-V10f-310-410-OCT-15-2014. I followed your guide this evening, and I am getting the endless boots, even though I performed the factory reset. Looking at the logs, the Flash tool stated I has the above, and I flashed with LGD850AT-01-V10d-310-410-JUN-19-2014. Is there anyway to get the V10f version? Or is there anyway to move forward to a higher stock version?

Did you use LGUP instead of "LG flash tools"? That's what I had to do because I was on Marshmallow.

The AT&T D850 is TOT method only that's why there's no kdz at all. Only official lollipop you can get is to insert an AT&T sim.

You cannot update it with a tot file. As there's only KitKat. Your only way is to have an AT&T sim or root / custom rom. Or it might be possible to root and load the update file. Never done the img update file before but if it can be done it would be in the general section.

How to install twrp recovery?
Even in future if any updates were released then i need to install either with sim card or flashing custom roms for my at&t model?
if you're going to go through the effort of rooting your phone you might as well install twrp which instructions you can find on these forums or even on twrp website I believe. the link clearly states that it is a stock rom. furthermore the guy was even nice enough to include his own instructions! what more could you ask for.
a little reading goes a long way. personally, I would vote to stick with a stock rom like the one linked above as it will be most stable and support all the features of the phone out of the box.
once a 6.0 rom is released for the d850 it will be real easy for you to wipe and flash that to upgrade again.
Where is the offical M rom for D850 ? Some people says released but I can not find it anywhere.

The firmware update itself is released. But there is no flashable firmware. And most likely they won't be one.

The update was released via OTA so for now the only two ways to have the official update would be to be in the USA with an AT&T sim card and unrooted device, the other way is that someone that already got the update pull the system, boot, cust... partitions from their updated phones and upload them so somebody can make a flashable zip and have the ability to root the stock marshamallow for the D850...

Due to it will be a TOT file. The last Official flashable firmware for the D850 was Kitkat I believe. As well as like the G4 it took 6 months to get a TOT file, and that was only got due to someone from the inside.

There is NEVER a kdz only tot files and tot method. If AT&T released kdz files that would put a end to the problem. But they do not. Every single LG device from AT&T and sprint is a tot file.
Modem + OS File from TWRP .. like we use to do for Lollipop ?

Dude just flash Fulmics in the LG-G3 thread runs nice on my D850. Its full stock MM with extras.

I'm on fulmics and I love it... but it would be great if we can get the official MM kernel for the D850 (it would mean faster boot time since it is not ported from the D855) and maybe the modem if it doesn't have conflicts with the bootloader of lollipop...

Do not try it even if tot or kdz is available for that..
H950 has qfuse set and anything that is qfuse<1 ie 0 will hard brick the device..
I just hope that there will be some exploit that can give us custom recovery and kernel someday..
However kernel hijacking is a possibility but devs with enough knowledge arent interested in this device ...
Also MM may not have root simply also due to dm_verity in kernel..
For us h950 users outside USA there may never be a MM either...
I was wondering if we all take it to twitter to demand a solution for custom kernel bombing their twitter we may get a good response
We can even say our devices heat up so much that it reaches temp of 60-70+ so we need to modify vdd freely for all g flex 2...

i dont know if it works, i see in another thread someone asking for flash h955 over f510l and the only thing they say is the modem driver maybe dont work, you will dont have network connection...but maybe the rom works.

Yes that is applicable.. But don't downgrade att 5.1.1 to 5.0.1

I'm confused about your post.. There is NO kdz for the D850.. Also theres already a guide in the general section. The D850 uses tot files and in which there is no MM tot. I think you may be thinking of the D850PR which those files are already in my guide and in which there is risk by downgrading/upgrading a D850 to a D850PR.
So you may want to change the title to D850PR if you keep this thread.

Yeah but it's D850PR firmware not D850. Which can cause issues for some people if flashed on a D850.
Is it rootable? I didn't think the D850 had root unless you downgraded to kitkat to root? (Sorry haven't really kept up with root)

How is it fixable if MM is not rootable? Where you able to successfully flash back to the D850 KitKat firmware? as normally it causes issues with flashtool when changing around models. But you should really mention that its D850PR firmware so those don't get confused as its not an AT&T D850 firmware.

Yes I know its stock unmodified its a kdz I already had the kdz. But looking around MM 6.0 is not rootable on the D850 thats what I was saying, Only way to root is if you downgrade to KitKat. Unless MM is rootable for the D850PR. But it doesnt seem so. I don't have a D850 anymore to test it.

Hopefully it can be, would be great! Just saying the D850 MM still cannot be rooted to this day. Hopefully there will be some more testers soon. Wish the PR firmware was around back when I had my G3 when it came out
