Fastboot not recognizing is probably a driver issue. Failing to mount stuff can be due to OC partition layout, and remember, Windows will never recognise anything except your sdcard. What you can do is repartition your sdcard, according to the suggested pattern. With one gb ext2 and 128mb ext2.

Which ROM?? You can happily use one of the latest ROMs by me, they have been tested with the new recovery to work well

tried your FIUI from https://technologistguild.com the same symlink error appeared i think there is problem with my device.
I cant reply you there i dont know why.
I tried speeddroid and jaggyrom with both: twrp and cwm. Twrp says the symlink error and with cmw successfully installed but stuck at boot animation.

Recovery log is not a very big problem, though as I am seeing my device tree, it should have mounted fine. I'll bug you some more about this later because I'm the official maintainer and thus it's my responsibility to do so.

Sure! Go to my blog's PAC ROM section , the links to the ROM and working GApps are at the bottom. Please ensure you download Build #3 which I have labeled as the "Current LTS Version" since it is the most bug-free and stable version we've done.

To remove any sort of further errors, I think you should reinstall stock firmware and then try CWM again.

it is simple i think..
1)just boot into recovery..
2) enter mount and storage option
3 and format all the options..
/cache
/data
/system
/sd-ext
4) reboot recovery..and...
done!..flash new rom as you wish..

[Q] TWRP wont let me flash rom, no OS installed

Well i was trying to install cleanROM 5.1 and cleanKERNEL on my HOX, but every time i would try it would say failed (unable to mount /sdcard, etc.) so i wiped my cache, did a factory reset, wiped external storage, then accidentally did a system reset so i have no OS installed now, i was running 2.20 before but found a tut to unlock bootloader and root. in bootloader it says ***tampered*** and ***unlocked***
So if i have a custom recovery installed that means im rooted right?
and basically what can i do to install this rom and kernel without an error

You have to plug it in to computer, open up "my computer" and click it... It'll ask you to reformat sdcard. Once its done, download cleanrom on your computer, mount your sdcard in trwp, and drag it onto your phone. open up recovery on your phone and flash entire rom

[RECOVERY] New CWM Recovery v6.0.4.8 for LG-P500 (CM11, CM10+) ROM flashable)

Hey guys... I just thought to post this new CWM Recovery v6.0.4.6 which support SELinux for device like LG-P500 (arm v6).
UPDATE: New recovery can flash all CM 10+ ROMs and CM 11.
This recovery has RAINBOW theme, Wana try press vol+ vol- button and then continuous press vol- and reclick back button. Enjoy KITKAT 4.4.2 and other CM 10+ ROMs on this CWM 6.0.4.6 recovery.
Update December 26, 2013:
recovery and format of sdext
Update Jan 16, 2014
Flash all CM10+ and CM11 ROMs
Backup restore problem solved (Linking Dexes and showing "zero' system space after boot)
___________________________________
Please 'HIT THANKS' if this really help you, Thanks meter encourage developer to work more enthusiastically
Very nice recovery. Did the trick for KitKat ROM.
Note however bug I found:
While previous 5.0.2.7 would fail to backup sd-ext, this one succeeds in doing so. Great.
However when restoring, sd-ext fails trying to format the (ext4) partition.
Word to wise: Backup sd-ext to PC before experimenting.
Note the 5.0.2.7, after a factory reset, left me with this partition unwritable so rather have it fail than bashup

Firstly I would like to thanks for your excellent work of this CWM Recovery As you suggested on the Android 4.3 thread I did install this recovery, flashed cm-11-UNOFFICIAL-20131216 with no error :good:, and kitkat booted on my p500 eventually :victory:  , as reported by others.
Brief review for Recovery
Bit laggy compare to v5.0.2.7, can not backup and restore sd-ext. (failed on /dev/block/mmcblk0p2. Error while formatting /sd-ext). It's the culprit kitkat failed to mount sdcard?
Request:
It"ll get 5 stars for touch version as v5.0.2.7 by vivekkalady. NotOnlyEyes provided touch (well, actually not fully touch from my opinion) version 6.0.4.5 but an error occur while flashing cm-11.
Anyway, thanks for the great works

Seems only laggy to get first menu, a couple of other places. Can live with that.
The failure to format is its own error, I believe. Saw commits about a fix.
The other error is that clearing Dalvik Cache also kills link2sd's on sd-ext. At least, this should be a option.
Generally, touch versions are more problematic, sometimes do not fit screen, etc. Better off as we are.

[SOLVED] Error mounting the SD-Card

Hello!
For days I have been struggling with my HTC One S. It all started when I forgot to reflash the boot.img after updating Cyanogenmod. At first I didn't understand that I needed this after kernel changes, and just installed different versions of Cyanogenmod because I thought that "that version has a bug and doesn't work". The screen had only stripes of different colours, and couldn't boot. After trying different versions, wiping and flashing, I found out about the important boot.img. Just when I figured out that, and booted recovery an evening I noticed that the sd-card couldn't be mounted longer. I didn't think too hard about it, and just connected my phone to the computer to flash the boot.img and a new recovery. I only have Windows 8.1 on my computers, which didn't work. Therefor I decided to install Ubuntu alongside Windows (took me 6 hours now to do so), and now Fastboot finally worked! Than I flashed boot.img and a new recovery. The strang thing now was that I could finally boot the last Cyanogenmod version I flashed before the SD-card mount error (10.2.0), but still in recovery the SD-Card can't mount, nor in Android. I have tried to follow different guides here to avoid doublepost, but without success. Can someone please help me?

CM is having a new fstab layout for a number of devices. One of these changes include a by-name partition support (instead of say mmcblk0p33 called as "system"). you need this recovery to flash CM from today, and probably all 4.4.2 ROMs soon
That's the major change...other than that: adb fixes (big issue for me while trying to pull kmesg logs for Sense 6 building :fingers-crossed, LED fixes, dual core support, fix of backup and restoration of encrypted backups

It worked for me, and I had the same flashing TWRP screen issue as you.

I flashed this today and now my internal SD card doesn't mount. I'd be grateful for any assistance.

I flashed mine with Flash GUI Image. It worked flawlessly and TWRP is super smooth and stable. I couldn't use fastboot because my phone can't be recognized by my PC.

I'm sorry timmaaa, I'm not sure what you mean. When I use a file explorer on my phone, it says my internal storage sd card is unmounted.
