[Completed] Bought LG G2 D802 On Ebay- Fake Or Genuine? - XDA Assist

Hi there, I am hoping someone can please help me
I have just bought an LG G2 D802 from a Hong Kong based Ebay store. It was sold to me as a brand new phone but I am having some suspicions about this. For a start - the IMEI number actually matches up to a Nokia 3310. I have had no success with getting 4g ever & knock on feature does not work. Apart from this - it's a terrific phone & arrived in a box with stickers on etc & looked brand new. The box says "made in China" but the phone says "made in Korea". Is there any way to tell besides pulling it apart to check the motherboard? Have I reason to be suspicious? The Seller insists it is a new phone.
Model: LG G2 D802
Software Info:
Android version 5.0.2
Baseband version: M8974A-AAAANAZM-1.0.190128
Kernel version: 3.4.0
Build number: LRX22G
Software version V30a-HKG-XX

[Q] Samsung I9003 crash/mystery reset

Hi folks
I am new in this world.
Here is the problem. My girl has her samsung I9003, bought in Hong Kong last oct. She is now studying in UK. Recently she mentioned to me that her phone experienced crash regularly with all info lost after reboot. She is completely novice, and is a pure smartphone user. I suspect that her phone may experience firmware upgrade failure via Kies.
Now her phone failed to chat with the PC's USB, as PC cannot detect it.
I got the following info when I asked her about phone info through "About Phone" and *#1234#
PDA:I9003ZHKPD
PHONE: I9003XXKPM
CSC:I9003ZZHKP9
Build Info: Sat Oct 29 16:14:38 KST 2011
Firmware version:2.3.5
Baseband version: I9003XXKPM
Kernel version:2.6.35.7-CL696171 [email protected]#1
Build number GINGERBREAD.ZHKPD
Digging from the internet leads me to think that the three signatures: PDA, PHONE and CSC should bear similar suffix strings, or at least very similar. But in this case, ZHK points to Hong Kong, while XXKP points to Europe.
By the way, what are the significance of those signatures?
I am writing to ask you guy to see if anyone knows whether this is the cause of the phone failure. (If this is a hardware failure, or software failure)
The phone is still under warranty in Hong Kong. So any suggestion as to whether this problem can be fixed remotely in UK, or the phone need to be shipped back to Hong Kong for repair under warranty.
Your help is much appreciated.

[Q] Anybody got recently a Samsung Skyrocket with UCLA3 out the box ?

Hello
I have bought a Skyrocket from an AT&T store 3 weeks ago , the black one ... And it was written on the box software ver. i727UCKJ2 , and then I registered it on Samsung website and it showed it was manufactured on 20/2/2012....
Then a week after that due to a problem with it , had to return it to the store and they replaced it with another sealed one (which perfectly looks new and untouched) , also black , and on the new box it shows software ver. i727UCLA3 , also I registered it on Samsung website in my account and it showed it was manufactured on 2/13/2012 !!
So :
1-Is it possible for a the 1 week older skyrocket (the one made in 2/13/2012)to be shipped with the UCLA3 , and out the box ? and did actually anybody bought their skyrocket recently with UCLA3 version out the box ?
2-Do AT&T stores sell refurbs or previously used skyrockets which were reman or reconditioned by Samsung ?
Thanks
Every time I've asked, the AT&T store has told me that they do not sell refurbs, only the website sells them.
However, I'm certain that I got 2 refurb iPhone 3GS' at a corporate store.

LG K51 model number differences when buying repair kit

I have an older LG K51 with a cracked screen that I'd like to repair. According to "about phone" the model is LM-K500QM5 but all the replacement kits I've seen say they're compatible with:
LM-K500MM
LMK500UM
LMK500TM
K500QM7
K500QM
K500UMT
Nothing matches exactly. I was wondering if the the last couple of characters in the model number are provider specific.
Also, any recommended places to buy from?
Thanks
