[Completed] Will unroot restore bloatware on LG G2? - XDA Assist

I rooted my Android device a couple of weeks ago (LG G2). Now I want to unroot it and factory reset it. Will that restore the bloatware I deleted? In case not, how can I restore them?

Hello,
No, unrooting and factory resetting won't restore your deleted bloatware. If you have custom recovery and you made a nandroid backup of your stock ROM then you can go to recovery and restore it. If you don't have custom recovery and a stock nandroid then you have a couple of options after unrooting.
1) You can reflash your stock firmware via PC and whatever flashtool your device uses.
2) You can extract the deleted apps from your stock firmware and adb sideload the apps or just put the apps on your sd card and manually reinstall them.
For help with how to do these you can post your questions in the forum linked below.

[Completed] [Q] Note 3 no OS

Hi, my note 3 has no os installed and I already tried flashing roms but it didnt work, neither did the stock rom. It has twrp installed on it. All caches are deleted and the only thing on it is twrp. How can I fix this?
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. Probably the easiest thing to do is flash the stock firmware with Odin. Alternatively you could adb push a Rom zip to your phone and flash that with twrp. Odin will return your device to stock and you'll have to root again and put twrp back on. It also will wipe your device. See if someone here can help further, http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3

[Completed] How to repair Karbonn Titanium Octane Plus?

I have Karbonn Titanium Octane Plus from past 2 months(my 4months savings). I wanted my phone to have Android 'L' so i searched in google but couldn't find any. But found some custom rom of cyanogenmod cm11 of elephone. Installed it using TWRP v2.8.2.0 as shown in tutorials with all the adequate software to be install for my laptop. After intalling cm11, Android version got upgraded from 4.4.2 to 4.4.4. I was happy and exited for some period. after few days felt the earlier os was better as it had video recording and FM player. so wiped the phone to install stock rom of Karbonn Titanium Octane Plus but couldn't as the error occurs shows as mentioned below:
E : Unable to mount ' /system'
Please Help........
Hello,
Welcome to XDA.
When you flashed TWRP did you make a nandroid backup of your stock ROM in TWRP? Making backups in custom recovery is the most valuable part of having custom Recovery. If you did make the backup of stock then all you need to do is select the restore option in TWRP and restore your nandroid and you should be fixed.
If you didn't make the backup then you'll have to download your stock firmware and flash it via PC and your device's compatible flashtool.
you should find what you need in the thread linked below in post #3.

[Completed] After installing new update for yureka it is not starting to homepage.

After installing the update and restarting my yureka is showing only cyanogen recovery tools but anything is not working. I tried recivery tools but again after restarting it shows cyanogen recovery tools.
Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to XDA.
If your device was rooted and had a modified system partition and you took a stock update then you will have to restore the stock firmware with whatever flashtool your device uses. To apply stock updates on rooted devices they have to be unrooted and restored to an unmodified system partition by removing all modifications that have been applied to the device and if you have custom recovery you have to restore it to stock recovery, all these things must be done before getting the update.
On some devices, when a stock update is started, it downloads the update into a cache and is then booted to recovery to apply the update by selecting the install update/zip from sdcard then flashing the update that was downloaded, could this be what your device is doing?

That forum may not be for your exact model of Yureka but they should use the same update process so you should be able to find some answers there.

Trying to find the ROM I used from last year

Hi Guys,
I had a 6.0.1 MM custom ROM (found here in the ROM section) installed on my Galaxy S7 SM-930F last year. I made a TWRP backup prior to upgrading to Nougat however stupid me I have forgotten a folder to manually back up when I was on MM. I've tried to downgrade and restore using TWRP to no avail.. it would say the restore is complete and stay stuck on the Samsung logo. My nanadroid backup ends with G930FXXU1APGH so I searching the ROM section of XDA forum to see if I can go back to what I installed as it appears I have no record of the ROM I downloaded here so I can restore the backup successfully. The backup I am trying to restore is from TWRP 3.0.0 and I am now using a 3.1.1
My questions are:
1.) Do I need to be on the same exact build number of Marshmallow for the TWRP restore to work? (I've tried older/newer TWRP/different build # for Marshmallow)
2.) Is there a best way to find out which custom rom I installed last year (search function?)? All I know is that my backup ends with G930FXXU1APGH so that build # is the only lead I have to search through the forum
3.) Restoring the backup always leads to a stuck Samsung logo. I've tried different TWRP, rooted and gone to Nougat/MM and restoring from there, cleared data/factory settings/cache etc. Any other suggestions?
Thank you for your help.
