Hi, my note 3 has no os installed and I already tried flashing roms but it didnt work, neither did the stock rom. It has twrp installed on it. All caches are deleted and the only thing on it is twrp. How can I fix this?
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. Probably the easiest thing to do is flash the stock firmware with Odin. Alternatively you could adb push a Rom zip to your phone and flash that with twrp. Odin will return your device to stock and you'll have to root again and put twrp back on. It also will wipe your device. See if someone here can help further, http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3

Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. Don't worry. All you need to do is flash the stock firmware in Odin. It'll get your device running again. Just go to sammobile.com for the firmware. You need to register but it's free. If you have further questions you can ask in here,http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2016792
My pc wont recognise my tablet so i dont get the yellow box in odin. Solution? Thnx
Hello and good evening. My problem is that i rooted my phone around 4 months ago, to do that i had to install a custom recovery, which is TRWP, can't remember the version. Thing is, that i want to get my original recovery, so i can recieve the OTA for 5.1. I dowloaded some files from this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/4g-development/xt1039-moto-g-4g-stock-firmware-kxb21-t2805619 i got the brazilian firmware which is the one that is supossed to work with my phone. But in the files i see a recovery one, so my question is, should i follow the steps on the tutorial or i can flash just the recovery over the TRWP ? Thanks for your responses.

Flashing the complete stock firmware will overwrite your custom recovery with the stock one.
But you can also flash the stock recovery separately afterwards.
I know that Chainfire has stock recovery in his CF-AutoRoot files which will also replace the current recovery with the stock recovery.
Here is the CF-AutoRoot thread for your device: [KitKat] [Lollipop] Root XT1039/XT1040 CF-Auto-Root Peregrine By Chainfire by TheFixItMan.
If you need further help for your device, please register on xda and ask in the Moto G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum.
Good luck !
Hi all,
I have an Galaxy Note Edge type SM-N915FY with custom rom installed: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-edge/development/rom-micky387-rom-v1-0-t2998972
My phone is running on android 5.0.1 with kernel: 3.10.30-andrei-N915F-BOC6-v1.0
Baseband-version: N915FYXXU1BOB5
Yesterday I was trying to install the newer custom rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-edge/development/rom-micky387lollifamous5-1-1v1-t3200849
To make sure this will work, I needed to flash the TWRP , after I tried to flashed this using Odin, the phone got in a Bootloop. So I flashed the older TWRP again and my phone is booting again.
So I tried to clear the cache, but then I get the error: Unable to mount \cache, I didn't know how to solve this so I reflashed the TWRP again through Odin, but still the same issue.
Do you guys know how I could install another custom rom? My phone is rooter, just to make sure.
Thanks in advance.

To move on to newer custom ROMs (based on 5.1.1), you need to download and flash Stock 5.1.1, which you can download from here, then you can root it, to get the necessary files for doing so, check this thread out.
Credits for TWRP, new ROMs and the possibility of root on 5.1.1 go to micky387.
You Saved me. After I flashed the original android 5.1.1 I was able to flash TWRP and install custom rom.
Many thanks!
Gents,
funny question.
I just installed by Odin the very last firmware (COI1) with custom image from here, and
looks like it is locked and now I stuck with the stock ROM...
No chance to put back TWRP...
Before everything was fine.
I tried bootloader from this post, no luck.
Any advice how to get TWRP back or just how to revert to custom image?..
You could just flash TWRP via odin by downloading a flashable zip and to install custom software you'll have to install TWRP or any other custom recovery first. After installing twrp go to install and flash the rom from there. Reply and will help you further!
That's the exact problem: after Odin I still don't have TWRP...
Hello! I just installed twrp on my Samsung galaxy A53, but now I accidentally uninstalled the stock from. Thus I am left with a phone with no os on it, and was just wondering if there were any prebuilt flashable os for the phone?
If you have TWRP installed, have you tried just extracting super.img from stock fw and flashing it with TWRP?

I tried following the following tutorials: https://www.droidwin.com/install-lineageos-gsi-rom-on-galaxy-a53-5g/
Right now my device has twrp on it thanks to @afanah92, but I just need an os to install on it as I accidentally wiped the prebuilt os. So I was just wondering how to install an os, as like the method I tried in the tutorial doesn't work for me. I don't know if that's because I wrecked my partition scheme as mentioned by the man who probably did same thing as me:
Successfully installed PixelExperience19, TWRP, root
Hi guys, yesterday got my new phone and directly started to flash on it :) Yes and of course in the middle of night i bricked it. Totally bricked partition sheme, had to download stock rom and flash pit and all rom via odin. Here are 3...

I don't know if your TWRP has a way to flash system.img or not. If it does then just add Lineage.img to your phone and flash in super partition then reboot to recovery and you should have a working OS on it. I don't know what you did to wipe your OS.
Use odin to reflash rom
Check sammobile for rom make sure device model is matched
