Hey Guys,
just recently started having an issue where my phone starts randomly clicking and selecting things within apps by itself. I was running Madhi v3.6 for roughly 4 months with no issues at all and all of a sudden 2-3 days ago i started having the issue.
i tried reinstalling the device and factory resetting my device but nothing has worked. also tried other roms and mahdi v4.0.3 and still no luck.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?
Thank you
Try ressurection remix, all lollipop roms have the touch driver fixed, you won't have it anymore,do try it and let me know thanks.

Hi, I have recently been experiencing random reboots in the middle of using my phone on Android 5.0.2. For example, I could be playing a game or browsing the Play Store and it would just reboot in the middle of it. This has been going on for a while now, I've flashed from Resurrection to Mokee and it still persists. Anyone have a solution to this problem? Thanks.
might be a hardware issue, but.. just to be on the safe side, can you clean flash stock rom (from fastboot) and start over again?
I've been using Resurrection Remix for sometime now. It used to work fine. But then one day it rebooted and some problems popped up(Notifications cannot be seen, only the sound is heard;users cannot be changed;Recents menu not appearing;lockscreen not appearing). But a factory reset fixed the issue. It has since occurred a couple more time and a factory reset has always done the trick. But last night the phone again rebooted and the same issues came up, so I factory reset it again. But then the "Setup Wizard has stopped working" error came up when first booting my phone. However, I deleted the Setup Wizard via TWRP and the homepage came up. But all issues are still there(notifications,Recents) and also the Home Button appears to not be working. I mean the button's fine since the phone vibrates but no action occurs. I've tried flashing different ROMs (Lineage OS, SlimROM) but the issues remain the same with all ROMs. Please help.

Are you sure you clean flashed the roms?
so about 2 moths ago I installed ressurection remix on my oneplus one. In those 2 months my phone wouldn't start up 3 times. So i see the logo to start up but he keeps loading. When i go to twrp and reboot the system it keeps loading. the only way to fix it is by installing RR again. This problem happens always when my phone was in my pocket and it turned himself off so i start it up and it keeps loading. Does anyone know a solution for this problem?

I am in the same boat as you.
I have been running RR for almost 3-4 months and it did the exact same thing you described at least 5 times. Nothing (Clearing cache / flashing new versions/ old versions/ different gapps/ twrp updates / nandroid backup restore) would fix it except letting it cool down for a day and try booting it up the next day. If you're lucky enough, it would work. I never tried resetting it because I didn't want to lose my data.
It happened again day before day yesterday and my phone's been dead ever since. Tried everything, again, but no luck this time. I have finally decided to put my lazy ass to work and take backup using MTP in TWRP and flashing stock ROM. The data is being backed up as of now.
The procedure is long & a pain in the ass but looks like there is no other option.
Labor day holiday wasted. -.-'
Hi everyone,
I have installed android Pie One UI via ODIN (Clean install) a few days ago. All worked perfectly fine, and since this morning the phone started to freeze randomly.
It happens very often, a few times in a minute and eveything gets unresponsive for a couple of seconds.
I have tried clearing the cache partition in recovery mode but the issue is still there. There were no new apps installed since the first day initial setup when I installed everything, and now suddenly I have this issue.
Does anyone know what it could be and what can I try before doing a factory reset?
EDIT: Seems that there was an issue because I debloated the firmware with package disabler pro, seems that the phone tried to start something after a few days but couldn't because it was deactivated. As soon as I re-enabled all bloat it stopped freezing.
Hello,
Since June 2020, I have been facing erratic issues with my oneplus 7.
- Started with a reboot loop. Did a factory reset, things were ok for a day.
- After that the phone randomly reboots atleast 2-3 times a day. Factory resetted many times. With a hope that beta build may solve the issue, installed BETA software from oneplus. But no luck. Problem continues.
- Recently noticed that sometimes, all of a sudden my contacts disappear. Wiping cache or disabling and reenabling Google contact sync brings them back.
- Wipe Cache data doesnot help in resolving this issue of random reboots
- Occassionaly apps like Whatsapp, Phone dialer or Launcher crashes. Wipe cache temporarily resolves the issue, but it again comes in a day or two.
I have not installed any unauthorised apps and all my apps are from verified google play store...
Totally frustrated with the problem of the phone...
Anyone has any luck in getting a solution to this problem?
Try latest open beta
Thanks for the reply, but I am already on the latest beta
This is because maybe the last ota installed (before this problem started) was not done porperly. Try full reset your phone and flashing the rom again through fastboot or you can try going back to h2os (which is the main rom when all the OnePlus phones are made with then switched to o2os) and then switch to o2os which will be a clean flash. You can find the procedures in the forums. I faced your problem a lot because I switch roms a lot and tried out these which solved mine
