Zombi Pop 5.1.1 RC1 issues with micro HDMI - Asus Transformer TF700

I have had my Asus TF700T for a couple of years now and have been installing the latest ROMS that have been developed. Since July I have had the Zombi Pop 5.1.1 RC1 Rom and the patch installed. It's been running smoothly, and I haven't had many problems. Yesterday, I tried connecting the display to my TV and was not able to display anything. The TV indicated there was no signal. Does this ROM support micro HDMI? When I first purchased my TF700T I was able to connect to the TV. I'm using a micro HDMI to HDMI adapter and then the HDMI to HDMI cable to connect to the TV.
Has anyone else had this issue?

ASUS EEE PAD TRANSFORMER 00423
Problem: When i plug in the HDMI type C cord to the transformer it works great. When I go to play videos such as Youtube or Any video type via HDMI to tv it flickers constantly. Sometimes it will work and sometimes it will completley disable my devices screen and TV and I will have to hard reset. I was wondering if anyone else ran into a similiar problem and if it could be the HDMI cord ? Thanks
+1 on this. Not sure what kind of cord I have, but mine flickers too
I havent tried mine yet
Have you guys made any progresson this? I just got my cable and i am having the same issue.
I am currentlyon 3.1
No .... Nothing Yet ... I just ordered another cable to see if that is the problem .. Should be here tommorow
Make sure you use mini HDMI 1.3a cable.
Mine works perfectly with youtube, UPnPlay and moboplayer
I had some issues with my TF and my Sony Bravia HDMI connection and the problems were cleared up by performing a firmware update for the television itself. I have no idea if that would help your situation, but in my case a firmware update cleared up all the connection problems I was having.
Good luck,

[Q] HDMI & Samsung LE46M87BDX/XEU TV

I am having a problem with connecting to my TV via HDMI. When I connect my Xoom to my TV via HDMI, after about 5 seconds the Xoom freezes and I have to restart the Xoom.
It freezes but the picture is still output to the TV, though obviously I cannot do anything with it.
I know the problem lies with my TV as I have tried the Xoom connected to other TV's via HDMI and it works fine.
I have tried it with Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) set to both On & Off, also tried connecting with the TV Off and On.
It did work 1 time and I had no problem with it all evening, came back the next day and it froze again.
I am connecting using a Micro-HDMI to HDMI adapter to connect a full size HDMI cable to the Xoom. I have tried multiple HDMI cables and connected using the same cables to a different TV to make sure the cables were not the problem, but it worked fine.
I have also tried connecting via the HD Speaker Dock with the same results.
I am running the Tiamat 2.2.2 "Moray" Rom with the 1.4.3 Rouge "Rana" Kernal
Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated as I'm starting to pull my hair out and I really cant afford to loose anymore
Have you tried a different HDMI port?

Yep, tried all 3 HDMI ports
how far is the xoom from the tv? i had a problem with the xoom's screen not responding, noticed that the plasma tv's heat emissions were screwing with the touch screen.
Thanks for the responses I have got it working now.
I installed the Eos ICS ROM and it worked fine, so reinstalled the Tiamat 2.2.2 "Moray" Rom and its working. Maybe an app that I had installed was causing the problem, I will find out over the next few days as I reinstall my apps.

ICS does it support HDMI out?

My SGS2 with Gingerbread worked fine outputting Netflix to my Pannasonic TV via an adapter and HDMI cable. But now on ICS I get a brief 420i message from the TV and then nothing.
Did you check your hdmi settings under hdmi in your main settings?
But, since it is reverting to 480i it makes me think it is probably an hdcp issue. Either your TV, cable, or problems with ics.
what model TV? Is it hdcp compliant? What cable and adapter?
Hi
TV is Panasonic Plasma TH-37PX80B TH-42PX80B
MHL adapter is ikross HDMI cable by GT Max
I have searched forum for anyone using ICS rom successfully to view hdmi but no success when I try their suggestions.

Kernel version [email protected]
Build number IML74k.XWLP4

[Q] Micro HDMI connection

Okay so I have unlocked and flashed my device and it works perfectly, I plug in my hdmi cable to my tv and it works fine, the next day after I had loaded my device with plenty of ps1 roms for my emulator the connection is broken. I can confirm that the TV recognise the cable so it is the device that does not find the cable, there are no error message or anything. Some time went by and I figure that it might work again if I install a cleanrom, I installed the latest version of CleanROM Inheritance and did the wipe cache and dalvik but alas the device still doesnt find my cable, does anyone have any ideas for me to fix this?
-Unlocked
-Flashed TWRP 2.3.1.0
-CleanROM Inheritance 3.4.1
thx in advance
Have you tried flashing a different ROM? How long have you had this tablet? I had a TF Prime and suffered from a similar issue. The HDMI output worked flawlessly for several months, and then all of a sudden it stopped working. After some surfing around, I discovered that this is a hardware issue; the HDMI port on the Prime would just become dislodged from the motherboard and the only option was opening up the case and reattaching it.

[Q] No HDMI output whatsoever

As we all know, since the new update to JellyBean 4.2 HDMI has been a problem. Before the update, I had minimal issues and HDMI worked perfect. After the update, HDMI output worked except no sound (like everyone else). A few months later, Asus finally put out a fix for this issue and my HDMI started to work again. 2-3 months later, my TF300 will not even output any picture or sound through HDMI. It was working fine on my Philips TV and then it just stopped one day. I've tried different TVs, new HDMI cord, factory reset, cold start, turning on and connecting the cord and TV in certain orders. Still nothing! I have enjoyed my tablet just this HDMI is a big problem. Anyone have a fix or heard of anything new to come from Asus? Please Help

The tv recognizes the HDMI input but when it switches over, there is no signal, no picture, nothing....The tablet use to give me a HDMI icon (when it worked) but not anymore.

Can you tell me which version you are currently on? If previous version were working better you can always go the Asus site and download older version.

I'm on 4.2.1 build 10.6.1.27.1 20130711
The weird part is before I updated to the newest build the HDMI worked then when I checked for a new update it stopped. I installed the new update and it hasn't worked since.
