hy guys, i hope i´m right here and sorry for my bad english.
i have a problem with my car radio unit.
i need little bit help.
the unit goes on but it come only white screen with colored fields but the touchscreen have function... if i touch the screen colore change.
i think it have crashed ROM ore firmware failure.
can anybody give me good instruction to let be run this unit?
i make hardware reset but whithout change .(

i got my polaris for 3 days: everythig ok until i applied the screen protector (i think there started my problems):
first simptom - touch screen with response problems, than not working at all! (yes i removed the screen protector)..i hoped that maybe it is a software problem.
i have tried using it with the buttons - manged to lock the keypad
so after searching the net i found the way to "hard reset"...but that needed both gps and IE buttons pressed.... locked
Next step: i found this forum ..searched for any similar problems..no luck
Tried to flash the ROM using both bepe and udK (bittdefender found "Trojan.Qhosts.AQP" in udK release ) tools. Both tools stucked at 0%.
Another tool needed EnterBootloader.exe to run on my PPC. but without keys/pen i could not install it, so i put the a command for program in my Startup tasks on the PPC.
Now the ppc starts and then goes in the 4 colour mode. I'd tried to install/flash the ROM again..no luck stucked at 0%.
Can anyone help me?? could it be a software problem? or maybe it.s a hardware problem. (i gor no response from the touch screen since)

One question: did you use water or something else to place the screen protector on your device?
Return it asap!!
I used some glass cleaner (foam)..but the screen was dry and clear when i put the protection.
The phone is in service now...(repair..if not a new one)..
I think you may have damaged the digitiser when applying the screen protector. Possibly the ribbon was only just making contact and your pressing on the screen has dislodged it enough to stop it working.

Would be great if somebody could help me!
At the left bottom part of the screen, the step-back arrow does not work properly at browser screen. It must be pushed quite strongly to let it work, while the right arrow, the step-forward one works with the slightest touch. For safety sake I tried the smae part of the touch-screen at the normal key-pad, when writing sms. There were no problem at all! What do you think about it? Is ita fatal problem, the whole touch screen must be changed? Or?

So i have a big problem with my one, i brought it maybe 2 years ago on lenteen but from the beginning he have a Strange prroblem and a can't use it...
Lenteen don't anwser me...
So, my phone lock the screen everytime and unlock so many time so i can't use it, he don't do it when i'm in the recovery

What exactly is the problem that you facing?You can post link with spaces.

i mean when i touch left on monitor it go to the right!
and also up goes down !
i must open notification bar from down to up !!

There are two possibile causes of this problem:
1. Your screen isn`t calibrated anymore correctly. To solve it you have to go to the factory settings (password 126), calibrate the screen and save the buttons.
2. Your MCU does not react anymore. Unplug the HU from current and reconnect it. The problem should be solved.
Would be interesting to know by what manufacturer your unit was produced. My GS has sometimes the same problem.

i solve it by re configing touch and button setting
u know what was my mistake ? iwas trying to press first +2 and then +1 !! it was not correct !! first need to click +1 and +2
