Dead M2 after 5.1.1 Update - Sony Xperia M2

Hello
I wanted to update my Xperia M2(Kitkat ->Lollipop). Well Something went wrong and i had red light and Image with dead Android.
I was a little scared but i decided to flash new Rom with flashtool. I did it many times on my old Xperia P(Great phone ;p). Well after finished and successful update( No error in Flashtool ) i wanted to turn on my Xperia and ... it's brick, No lights, Reset Button and Power button don't work. I tried PC Companion repair too, can't use flashmode (Volume - doesn't work).
Computer sometimes doesn't recognise my M2.
1. Debbuging USB is off, i suppose
2. Unkown applications off
Flashtool 18.5
PC Companion the newest update
Please Help me , I'm reallly desperate. Phone was new and a bit expensive .

There is a hole near the sim card slot, try to press the button in the hole with something sharp and retry to put your phone in flashmode. I hope this will help you

Sorry, dont work for me . It doesnt't start . Maybe battery is down? When i started flashing , it had only 30%

Should always make sure you have plenty of charge in the battery that's why ota updates don't work with less than 50% battery life. Have you tried leaving it charging overnight without touching it.

Wel, i have little news. Baterry is full (3.7V i checked it ) but on Output It's 0. Something Block it in battery.
Can I reset this **** or something?
(Turn on Volume -dont work , OFF- Dont work)

If I recall correctly, Vol- is for Fastboot, Vol+ for Flashmode.
Try to re-flash your correct .ftf (M2 Dual -> D2302, M2 -> D2303, M2 Aqua -> D2304). First, try without wipe Cache/Data (in Flashtool -> Flashmode), but check "Reset customizations" (if it's fail, check "No final verification" too). Recommend fw is 18.3.1.(whatever).1.17 (KitKat 4.4.4), what you can easily root.
EDIT:
Before you connect your M2 to PC, use a sharp pin to turn off your phone (tiny hole next to the SIM card).

Flashmode = volume down (-) green light blink
Fastboot = volume up (+) blue light

I flashed new lollipop ftf using FlashTool and forgot to exclude SIMLOCK.ta.
Although I have working android, there is no SIM and also I am not able to flash any new recovery or boot.img .
I ihave downgraded to KK and JB but had the same problem. when I check the unlock status it is:
Rooting Status: Unknown.
also for sim properties I have:
[ ] Network 0
[ ]Network Subset 0
[ ]Service Provider 0
[ ]Corporate 0
[ ]SIM 0
Some one knows the solution?

Well, If I could flash my M2 , It was wonderfull ;p, but my Xperia is dead. I cant use flashmode or fastboot. Secret Reset button doesnt work too ;p . First My Xperia must be alive , soon flash kit kat ;p. But I Dont know how to rescue my dead Xperia. And This 's my Problem.

Without flashmode or fastboot don't think there is much you can do try reading this thread

Hard Bricked? Can't power on or get to flash mode, QHSUSB_BULK

Hey guys, so I was updating to latest Kitkat firmware OTA and the android guy with the red exclamation point appeared and boot looped.
So, I used Flashtool to correct this and... the phone died.
Can't power on, doesn't vibrate, no SONY logo, no LED blinking, nothing.
Windows installs drivers for QHSUSB_BULK and that's it.
In device manager it appears as SOMC Flash Device anda flashtool detects it but, I can't do anything about it.
15/012/2015 00:12:50 - INFO - Device connected with USB debugging off
15/012/2015 00:12:50 - INFO - For 2011 devices line, be sure you are not in MTP mode
That's what I get.
From searching around I think the boot partition is gone (?)
Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm completly stuck here.
Did you try to turn it off with reset by the sim card? Then hold volume down (- button) connect to usb and flash ftf.
Good Luck.

It probably (hopefully) got stuck. Try to (soft) reset it. There is a very small button next to the SIM card slot. You would need a needle or something that small to push it. If that doesn't work I am afraid it would be better to take it to Sony assistance.

I've been using that button since forever...
Do you think it's related to the loader partition or something?
Maybe you ran out of battery? Does your phone charger when you plug in? Also try different usb, reboot your pc then try again. I had softbrick my phones few times but always fix it with Flashtool.
Press power off button (small one by the sim) and leave the phone, Open Flashtool, select ftf wait for the popup dialogue, press volume down, connet phone to usb. This is proces i always do.
Good Luck.

Boot Loop may be a problem
If your device get disconnected every 5-7 seconds than it is a bootloop which is not showing on screen but you can observe it in device manager
And you have to try different key combination to stop that boot loop while flashing

Try to reboot the phone by holding 10sec vol+ and Power keys when the phone is plugged. Your phone should reboot in fastboot mode and then unplug and it should be powered off.
If you coming from KK to LP do fresh install with wiping everything.
Good Luck.

Did anyone come up with a solution for this? I have the exact same problem right now. Tried the little button near the SIM card slot, tried charging. Phone won't boot into flashmode, or fastboot. No LED-s flash at all.
Donwlaod flashtool and choose flash mode then press vol down and connect it to computer. Without enabling USB debugging also it will go into flash mode. Then jusy flash kitkat or lolipop and dont forget to wipe data this time

When using flashtool always best to wipe cache and user data to avoid problems especially when going from kk to lollipop and vice versa a clean wipe n install always works wonders also use 9.18.6 or older version of flashtool they work better. Also try leaving it on charge over night

Sony Xperia E3 Bricked

I tried to put AOSP 5.1 from FXP in my phone, and my cellphone bricked. It wont turn on, it keeps the Sony Logo 2 seconds. It haven't connection with flashtool. Please Help me.
Hi. Can you give me more information what you did exactly step by step. So maybe i can help you. My E3 was bricked too. I found a solution. But i need more information.
Flash stock rom it'll unbrick it
#4
Thank you answer back! I did exactly the following:
The model is my Xperia E3 D2212 dual sim.
- Unlocked the bootloader,
- CWM installed a custom recovery,
- I reinstalled the original rom,
- I made a backup of the entire system using CWM.
And everything went super normal way, without complications.
The mistake was when he wanted to installing a custom ROM called "AOSP_L_MR1_150718_flamingo" because I found out later that he had not read that it was for ANOTHER XPERIA as follow the you tube tutorial . The ROM's for another Xperia, if I remember correctly.
After doing the installation process of the new AOSP ROM, the phone is less than a minute on the logo of SONY XPERIA down with, looped, can not enter the bootloader, and no longer recognizes the PC. I can not recognize it at FlashTool. I think that's all. :crying:
I greatly appreciate your attention.
I ended up editing this text in the google translator, then I'm sorry, if you are not very good.
Thank you

Could you help me? I can not make the pc recognize him ... He barely turns on and off since. The PC Companion software tells recognize it, but when you are installing the software says "it is not possible for this phone is changed." I can not scessar the bootloader does not give time and it shuts down.
Thanks, my error was with the fastboot driver and adb in flashtool. The Windows drivers wasn't been recognized, I've to install the drivers, all of they. After this, I Flashed the Stcok ROM, installed SuperSU and Restored the backup, everything works fine and fluid now. Thanks, anyway, for encouraging me.
I flashed my D2203 back to factory rom yesterday using Flashtool (flashtool.net/downloads.php) on Windows 7 PC.
How did I do it:
1) Install flashtool
2) Install Flashtool-drivers.exe from flashtool subfolder /drivers and select flashmode and fastboot drivers.
3) Run Flashtool and open XperiFirm (letters XF on logo)
4) Select Xperia E3 Flamingo -> proper D22** you have -> Market -> and select latest release below PayPal logo
5) Press "Download" and wait for download and unpacking
6) Switch off phone (if power on/off button does not respond then open back cover and push "OFF" by using pen)
7) Press and hold volume down button and connect phone to PC using original USB cable
8) Using Flashmode flash device

I have hard bricked a Xperia M2. Help please.

I think I was not suppose to do a full factory reset and then flash Cyncyanogen 12.1. Can this phone still be fixed?
I should have realised that I could not flash non stock custom ROMS when my device cannot be unlocked. I should have downloaded Z5 style in Android development.
