Alright. Ive seen a CM12 for another device which has the same chipset with my device. May I ask how/what is the process for porting it? Thanks!

Hi guys, i bought this cheap (but powerful) cellphone and i have some questions to ask.
I found so many posts on web of porting any other MTK roms in any device (i can porting up a rom from mtk 6577 into my 6582) but i'm asking:
The rom that i want to install must have the same resolution of my display?
Do i need to install a custom preloader or a custom kernel?
Is there any risk of brick?
Can you suggest me a smooth rom?

Hi I got a MTK6582 device it's called Cloudfone Excite 502q, and I saw a same device that was called in Malaysia/Indonesia as Evercoss A7V. They already created a Galaxy S5 ROM, I was able to install the rom but what bugs me is the camera, it says could not connect to camera... I followed the tutorial and it doesn't work. I still have camera issues on the rom that they posted can anyone tell me where did I go wrong on porting?
hello people i am new here, and i would like to request people to help me to port kitkat rom to jellybean device mt6572 to mt6572 and mt6582 to mt6572. if you have any idea just any idea even if you have not tried it fell free to tell i will try it instantly. Even if you think this idea might not work it doesn't matter just tell.

i have found i tried to port it not working
you merd a same configerated device to port.
Guys I have been searching for cyanogenmod for lenovo a369i for sometime. I even tried to port one but it didn't boot. guys I am sick of the stockrom. I need cyanogenmod with lollipop or atleast kitkat. All I found was some themed stock roms which claimed itself as cyanogenmod. Guys please help

I'm having micromax q372 (unite 3).
I have stock ROM as lollipop 5.0, kernel version 3.10.54+ for my mt6582 chipset.
I want to port a CM13 based custom ROM to my device.
But I don't know what to do, since CM13 is marshmallow, and me having stock lollipop. Need a must help, please...
