[Q] [REQ]Port Kitkat Rom to Jelly Bean device Mtk - Miscellaneous Android Development

hello people i am new here, and i would like to request people to help me to port kitkat rom to jellybean device mt6572 to mt6572 and mt6582 to mt6572. if you have any idea just any idea even if you have not tried it fell free to tell i will try it instantly. Even if you think this idea might not work it doesn't matter just tell.

Hi,
I was planning to buy this unknown tablet: http://www.axtrom.com/product-details-7I01_1001
I just want to know if there is any way by which I can get a custom ROM on it
Maybe porting cyanogenmod to it ?
P.S.: I don't have any android developing skill
most android device can be rooted and installed a custom rom, but for starters i think this will help you

But this tablet simply doesn't have any..

ROM is available from baidu site . The download seems completed but the IMG file shown as corrupted.

No, the ROM must be specifically built for your specific model number, using anything else will almost certainly brick your device.

[Help] Porting Android 4.2 from MTK6589 to MTK6577 (4.1)

I know nexgen, developper of the Infinity ROM manage to get it booting but don't know how, he only say to use a quad core ROM.
A ROM under 4.2 is ZP900H_4.2.1_2.5G_By_Jaynes.rar (google it)
I some can help and get a booting ROM may he can write a quick HOW-TO :good:
So the goal is to get a working Android 4.2 on MTK6577

On the russian forum, they have ported ROM from MTK6589 to MTK6577, so the porting is possible, but it was for same android version.
I want to port to Android 4.1 to Android 4.2 too.
Nexgen say he have a working Android 4.2 ROM for A888 duo / Wiko King ... so yes it must be possible

Hey somebody do that port JB 4.2 for mtk6577, every one will love it...
Port Mtk6589 Android 4.2 to mtk6577. Only processor changes.
ANy news here_ Or alternatives. I{m really interested as well. I have a Jiayu g3 mtk6577 with Android 4.1. The Jiayu G3S is exactly the same hardware, except for the mtk6589 processor and has Android 4.2. Everything else is exactly the same. Maybe that makes it easier!?
I would love to upgrade to 4.2.2 any idea if that will ever happen?

The ROM's that I found for this device are sadly stuck in Jellybean (4.2) era. I doubt that Lollipop has been developed for this device.

Hi there..I'm helpless here...recently I bought an android wear which needs an android 4.3 + phone to sync with..but my device runs on 4.2.2 and all the custom ROMs made for it are 4.2.2 itself....I tried porting many romsss...but the results are negative..I'm in a helpless situation..can somebody help me??????? My device is micromax canvas 2.2 (mt6582)....
